Dealfind is a COMPLETE ripoff! I've had nothing but problems trying to redeem two vouchers I purchased back in 2011! The vendor has been uncooperative and will not honour any of the things that were printed on the voucher. Been trying to redeem these vouchers for two years. Each and everytime I try to get some help from DealFind they quote their one year credit policy and basically tell me I am S. O. L. Terrible customer service! Buyer Beware!

Here's the actual email they sent me after my complaint by phone...

Hello,

Thank you for your email.

As per our refund policy, we are unable to issue a refund or credit for your voucher(s), as they were purchased over one year ago.

You are a valued customer, and we greatly appreciate your business and support. As such, we have issued a special one-time offer especially for you, a promo code to be used on TeamBuy.ca

$5 off a minimum purchase of $15. Expires July 4th, 2013.
1 time use.

We will try to contact the merchant and pass along your contact details to them asking them to urgently contact you. Hopefully they will, but if they do not they is nothing more we can do as it is outside of 1 year since purchase.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Luke

I just want to warn people here NOT to BUY DEAL FIND coupons because you may never get your service done or money back like its happening to me now. Costumer service only says we can't help and can't give money back. They don't even call you back like they promise. So now Im stuck in vicios circle - merchant does not want to prove the service and DEAL FIND does not want to refund my money. So Think before you buy or you maybe be ripped off!

I find that dealfind.com has better products and things I am more interested in than groupon, wagjag, etc.
However, they have the WORST customer service out of the 3. The website gave me a free coupon when I signed up but didn't explain the amount. When I typed the coupon code into the website nothing happened. So I pressed enter. It turns out, without my knowledge, dealfind.com had saved my credit card information and it put through an order for a $70 air duct cleaning service I had never wanted in the first place.
I panicked, called the customer service line and never got through over a 4 day period. I filed a complain online with them and heard back the following week. The man on the phone explained that they would cancel this order and refund my card after speaking with the vendor over the next 2 days.
I hadn't heard anything from them, despite my many emails, until March 13th, where they asked if i wanted a refund on my $70 or if I would prefer to have "dealfind.com credits". I requested a refund, which they said they would process immediately.
It is now the 22nd and I haven't had any amount refunded onto my credit card. I am so pissed that this has taken almost a month to figure out.
I would still recommend people buy their products, but only if they are absolutely sure they want the deal.

Well, as much as this site is bad for business owners it is equally as bad for consumers. I purchased a massage deal from them and purchased 3 deals since it was such a great price. It was an OK experience until the massage therapist asked if it would be OK to uncover my chest to access some breathing muscles (I have asthma and had been having a lot of flare ups which really strains some mucles) I said OK expecting a pillow case to be draped over my breasts as any reputable massage therapist would do. He did not. He then proceeded to rub and stroke over, intentionally, my nipples and areola! Several times! It was very scary because the office is inside a closed room in an old building with no one else around. Of course, I said nothing and just wanted to get out of there. When I contacted Dealfind for a refund and to let them know I was violated they said that they could only credit me for the unused portion of my purchase and that was making an exception because I was outside their timeline for refunds. I responded with surprise that they would not refund me the entire amount based on these shocking circumstances and how do they go about checking the validity of the businesses they advertise etc. They took at least one month to respond to my second email and insisted that it was their policy to only credit for the unused portion and didn't bother to answer any of my other inquiries. So now I am stuck with a partial credit to purchase more from this horrible company! FOR SHAME!

Hi
March 23, 2011

Hi

I was on the internet looking to do a review on dealfind from a buisness aspect. The economy has effect our buiness this winter. Things have been slow so I found myself turning to dealfind hoping this would help. It started with a contract with dealfind where we would offer 6 laser hair removal treatments for $99.00. Two weeks later they contacted me again and said if I dropped down to $89.00 they would put my ad in sooner and promised me the dates. Desperate to see some cash flow I agreed. Two days before the ad was going to be posted on there website I recieved another phone call from dealfind asking me to drop down to $79.00 dollars or they would put another laser company on instead of us. Well needless to say I cancelled my contract with them. Please beware of dealfinds unprofessional sales staff that promise things they do not keep. I should of went with my original instincts and stayed away. They are not looking out for small buisness and making it really tough on us to make any profit. Considering they take 50% plus 2.5% merchant charges and we would do all the work. I wanted to make sure that companies know what they are getting into.

Beware of deals that seem to good to be true. Remember you get what you pay for. If companys are giving there service away, you will not get quality service with these coupons. Merchants and consumers need to be aware.

I can attest to all the negative reviews posted here about Dealfind. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING THE "DEAL" MIGHT LOOK. I bought a carpet cleaning voucher and the company turned out to be fraudulent. When I tried to get a refund from Dealfind, the idiot girl on the phone, JESSICA, literally laughed in my face when I called for a refund. The owner of this company is named GHASSAN HALAZON. I wouldn't be surprised, or at least one would hope, that the Canadian (the company is based in Ontairo) government would look into this company because they are clearly STEALING MONEY from A LOT of unsuspecting people.

I ordered 6 pairs of earrings for my wedding party and myself, I confirmed with them that I would receive my order with in the 4-6 weeks they quoted and they assured me it would be here on time. I ordered 8 weeks prior just to be sure, and 2 weeks before my wedding I emailed them to ensure they have shipped. I received an answer fairly quick saying they would contact the merchant and get back to me with in 3 business days, no one got back to me so I emailed again and she said the merchant hadn't responded. At that point I said well I should just cancel the order to avoid the headache of last minute accessory shopping days before my wedding. The rep said I should hang on til they speak to the merchant and find out. So I waited another few days. I emailed them yet again, because of course they wouldn't think to email me back when they got the answer. The rep said they have shipped and they will be here before my wedding day. So long story short they didn't arrive, and I had scramble and take money out of my tight wedding budget to replace them. They arrived one by one over 2 weeks after my wedding and the quality was crap. I've ordered through Aliexpress in the past and gotten nice cheaper earrings with the label fashion jewelry for under 3 bucks and these had the same markings and were 5 times the price. Sterling silver... no! Swvarski crystal... No! Cheap jewelrly made in china... yes! No refund because they had shipped and rudeness when asking to speak with management. Awful company, the owner is a liar and I hope he burns in hell for all the good people he's ripping off.

DO NOT BUY FROM DEALFIND! NOT WORTH BUYING FROM! MORE TROUBLE THAN THEY'RE WORTH! THINK I WILL STICK WITH MORE RELIABLE SITES LIKE AMAZON AND EBAY! I've been dealing with this company going on 6 months now. I ordered a set of iPhone lenses and was missing one with my order. I contacted customer service and they made me go through the whole dealing of sending in pictures in. Supposedly they submitted them to their vendor and their vendor had not responded. I checked on my case a couple of months later and they say they haven't heard anything so they will just give me a $5 credit. I tell them thanks but I don't want a credit, I want the lens I'm missing and how is it possible your vendor is not in contact with you when you are obviously STILL SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS! They never respond to e-mails after that. I end up calling again about 3 weeks ago and talk to a guy named Stuart that tells me that the previous Customer service person I dealt with is no longer working there (i don't blame her). He then assures me he will take care of things and get back to me…and as you might guess I never heard back. Just sent him an email saying I'm done with dealfind. I will no longer order or recommend this company. DONE!

MERCHANTS BEWARE, Deal Find is one of the worst Deal companies out there. They have completely ruined our business.

Let me tell you our story.

For years my business partners and I (5 in total) have been running a very successful company. We love what we do and we work hard at what we do.
In recent times, we decided to pursue the avenue of selling our products through Deal websites. Thus, when one of Deal Find's sales agents contacted to us to promote a deal, we were all in.

We ran our deal and it was very successful. We sold a high number of services/products. Everyone was so excited. However, when the deal closed and the time came for the ball to get rolling we found ourselves on a very bumpy road.

First, Deal Find neglected to pay our agreed percentages on time. We were constantly calling the company to get our payments. In fact, to this date they still owe us for the remainder of our Deal.

Secondly, the delay in payment meant delays for customers. This caused customers to report our company as fraudulent scammers. Ect and we constantly received harassing email, phone calls, visit... whatever else you could think of.

Thirdly, they ignored our emails, phone calls and other methods of correspondence. The only time they communicated with us is when they feared their butt was on the line. They are all about customer service yet they have no business service skills. Repeatedly we ask the company to work with us to serve our customers better. That did not happen.

FINALLY they allowed customers to return everything and anything even after the 30 day mark.

We could go on forever but I am sure you get the general feel of why we caution merchants beware.

As a result we have nearly had to close our doors. Our business now has a horrible reputation all because Deal Find neglected to pay us, the MERCHANT, supplying the product/service on time. Of course, they put all the blame on us... not really surprised.

After reading all the comments we are sorry to hear we are not alone.
We wish everyone all the best in recovering from their unfortunate situation

I purchased a $39 hair cut and highlights voucher supposedly worth $350 at the Jacques Michael Salon in LA. I had a TERRIBLE experience with the stylist who participated in the deal and found out that the Dealfind description was entirely inaccurate and definitely a scam. I had paid an extra $75 for highlights and tip in the salon, on top of the horrible haircut I got for the voucher, only to have to beg the manager to fix my hair after driving back and forth there 3 different times and ending up in tears after the original stylist screamed at me about it being her day off and that there was too much traffic to fix it. She had even admitted it looked weird the first day but insisted that it would "calm down" once I washed it. (I am writing a review about the stylist on other more appropriate business content review sites as well.) Responding to Dealfind's customer satisfaction guarantee, I emailed for a refund of the $39 voucher, only to get one response saying that because the manager had "fixed" my hair for me in the end (which they didn't really, just made it more bearable, and still not close to what I wanted), they would not refund the voucher. I replied to this that it didn't make sense, and got no response back. I will not be using Dealfind again and would highly recommend double-checking the stated value against the actual cost of the products they are advertising as supposedly discounted. There is NO way that a haircut and half highlights cost $350 at the Jacques Michael Salon! They have either not done their research on businesses they work with OR simply lie straight-out that they care about customer satisfaction... neither option is good for business. Do not trust the customer satisfaction guarantee!

I'm writing as a merchant about working with Dealfind on two deals over two years. I have learned they have merged with Teambuy and will be running a deal with them in the next couple months. Expect another review of my post merger experience with Dealfind once that's done.
Dealfind and Groupon seem to be the big players in the game and I have had good experiences with both. Dealfind was the first site I did business with and it went so well the first time that about a year later I did it again... for a bigger cut of course. The first time I worked with them I was pretty green to the whole interweb deal thing but I still asked for 60/40 instead of 50/50 on the grounds that we would be helping them more than they helped us. My business is a rock climbing gym and we don't have the competition that a restaurant or spa would have. We've been doing fine since day one so I tried a little hard ball. I also said that if we sold more than 500 I would want a bigger cut next time.
Deal went down and we sold over 600 one day and five day passes. Payment was received in a timely fashion and the file with all the customers names and such was sent over the second the deal was over.
Deal number two went just about the same a year(ish) later and I got the cut I wanted and we sold something like 1250 passes. Redemption for both deals is hovering at around 20%. If you do the math it was very worth while.
The only thing that I have found Groupon has over Dealfind is the app they have for scanning and redeeming passes. Dealfind sends you all the info and you have to make up your own database. Not a big deal but the app from Groupon makes tracking use a breeze. In my opinion its the only thing that Groupon really has over Dealfind. Now- that being said I've been assured by Dealfind that they now have the greatest tracking software ever made by man. I promise to give that a review after I run the next offer.

I am a merchant and ran a deal for my cleaning business, I have lost out huge and might have to close my doors, I was pressured by dealfind sales staff to run a deal not remotely close to the area where we service, they promised repeat clients and all the clients received where just looking for a deal and some even tried to abuse my services, they also said there is a retention on coupons where I have yet to see this, before I ran my deal I asked the sales person if scheduling these deals on two days out of the week would work, there was no problems with this at the time, after the deal I mentioned to dealfind that I can only schedule these clients on these two days and when I have the space available as its on a first come first serve basis. Dealfind told me that they would sue me for discrimination against their customers, I was shocked, I felt like I had been scammed by the sales staff at dealfind. I have had to turn away regular customers for dealfind vouchers and feel as if now I don't run my own business but work for dealfind, I have created a huge financial loss for myself from running dealfind, hopefully some merchants can pull together and sue dealfind for misrepresentation for sales and information giving by the sales associates at dealfind, If anyone (merchant) is willing to take legal action against dealfind I will totally be in, I just can't do it alone.

I call and the guy on the phone tells me off and say's no refunds call Dealfind they took your money? What a joke talk about being scammed. $29 is not a lot of money but it's the pricipal I can go to Dollarama and sell these set's with a $28 markup and get rich real fast. Not fair I'm discusted with the fact that their are companys out there like this that do this to innocent hard working people like me. WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH EVER. It's name SHOULDN'T BE DEALFIND, BUT "EXPENSEFIND". I spoke to TWO managers@ dealfind today, Derryl and Sarah. BOTH were NOT customer friendly whatsoever, they were in defense mode from the start, and had NO empathy over my situation. I purchased 4 spa vouchers for $40 each two years ago. There was no expiry date, and when I would schedule, the company would cancel last minute and have no bookings for another 3 months. Both Darryl and Sarah kept repeating the refund policy over and over and over. It's extremely sad that I trusted Dealfind to begin with. I would NEVER purchase a dealfind voucher in my life ever again. I'd rather pay $200 for a spa day than deal with unethical incompetent businesses.

Honestly, pay the full price on a company you trust. Do the research and forget Dealfind. I work in customer service and the credit department, and where I work, we WORK with customers, and offer goodwill adjustments. The term GOODWILL doesn't exist in Dealfind's dictionary.
