Cymax horrible

They have the worst customer service EVER. Nobody knows whats going on. They outsourse the customer service. It's one excuse after another. I highly suggest your third party ordering to go thru HOMECLICK. If I could give Cymax a -5 I would. Good luck.

Oh where to start. It would take far too long. Bottom line, customer service SUCKS, each and everyone. Called the BBB... I'm not the only one who called. Sent back a crappy couch paid 1,0000 for and will only be getting back 500.00. If I ever see it. Chairs I bought are junk, using as fire wood... No one knows what they are talking about, sit on hold for hours... no follow through... argumentive and that's just for starters. Most PAINFUL experience shopping I have ever had... Do NOT buy from them,... Just awful...

Horrible!

I will never order from cymax again. My husband and I ordered my baby's dresser we never got a tracking number or anything. I called and called and I was told they where gonna check where my order was and get back at me. At the end I was told ups tried dropping it off several times and no one was home. They never left me a slip or anything saying they tried delivering it. I was charged for shipping there and back and never got the dresser. They only refunded me back less then half of the money I paid with no dresser. This was all there fault for not giving me a tracking number and not informing me when I called several times that it had already been shipped. It was such a waist of money. I will never in my life purchase anything from them again. I recommend you guys not to as well. Very bad service.

I ordered a bed frame from this company it was $540 with tax. I did not accept it was badly damaged it did not come off of the truck the driver took it back. It has been months and I still have not received a refund. I have had many attempts to contact them about my refund. No response no refund do not buy anything from this company. Amazon should not do business with them.

Never shop here again

I ordered a bookshelf ladder which arrived with two screws missing. I called the manufacturer and still have not received them. I called Cymax and said I wanted to return the product and she said I have to pay shipping plus a restocking fee. I deal with companies who provide a free shipping return label if the product is defective, plus they don't charge a restocking fee. In addition, it was extremely difficult to get in touch with them. I had to call three times to figure out the phone tree, then was left on hold for 12 minutes.

Blatant Crooks

I placed an order and was suspicious with their customer service-dead link and fake contact info. I cancelled my order, they confirmed it and 2 hrs later billed my AMEX. They followed up with a fraudulent order that they placed with my AMEX purchasing an $800 bunk bed.The blatant and flagrant in your face corruption is unbelievable.

I ordered an item (a 4in1 crib) on sale. I got a confirmation e-mail and my debit card was charged. 2 days later, I got an email saying "As you requested, we've canceled items from your order as shown below. We're sorry it didn't work out."
Obviously, I did not request a cancellation.
If the company made a mistake and the low price listed was a not what they intended, at least own up to it. Don't try to pawn it off on the buyer...
Several items were marked very low. I suspect that maybe this was done intentionally. I did have other items in my shopping cart that had been there for a while. Maybe with the incredible low price, it will encourage people to purchase items in their shopping cart, only to then cancel the low marked item.

Ordered a bed from Cymax. Shipment never arrived. Called to ask what happened, was asked to wait. Called again days later and was told the carrier had lost the item. Asked to cancel the order. Was told to wait for them to do a 72-hour search. Waited 3 days, was told my order would be canceled and fully refunded. Days later, no refund, called again: now they say they've found it again, so they can only process it as a return, meaning that I will be charged shipping and restocking fees! I am currently disputing the charges through my credit card.

This company is terrible! I only purchased my bed from them because it was out of stock from another online store i normally purchase. One of the bed pieces( the front board) was damaged. I tried calling but apparently they dont have customer service for that purpose, the prerecorded line directs you to email them and will hear back 24-48hrs! And then they hang up! Email? Are they kidding? I emailed them over 10 days ago and NO response! They obviously have lots of issues if they are not able to respond in the timely manner they say they will, because their emails are probably full of complaints or they are just scamming people! Please take your business to WAYFAIR, they have the best customer service ever! I am in no way affiliated with wayfair, but have purchased from them a lot, and any time i had an issue, they resolved it IMMEDIATELY! CYMAX is a JOKE! Will never have my business again!

Got one piece of my 5 piece order, no one will speak with me, no one answers emails. I've already paid and not sure what my options are, but can only get misinformation and rude responses from Cymax. If you have not placed your order already, order from somewhere else.

I honestly wasn't aware I was ordering from Cymax, I thought it was Bush Furniture.

Had to return product
November 3, 2016

I purchased a black bed frame and a silver headboard. The headboard arrived with minor scraps. Minor enough to keep and not send back. However, the black bed frame arrived with the packaging box beat up and partially opened... with the frame scratched up too. It looked bad so I surely sent it back. I do appreciate their customer service. They were helpful and they sent me another frame in a timely manner. I only used their service once so that is why they have two stars.

I ordered a new dinning room table on 10/25. Today is 11/24 and I have been forced to cancel my family Thanksgiving. I have spent 5 days, 4x a day, on the phone with Metropolitan Shipping who has held my table hostage since 11/3. Cymax refunded me $100 for the inconvenience of not receiving the $1300 table and having to cancel a major holiday. They also wanted to charge me for returning a table I never received. The best I can hope for now is to receive this table in pristine condition.

DO NOT do business with this company. I wish I would have read these reviews before doing business them. My experience has been AWFUL! I placed an order on 8/1/16 and received and email saying that my order had shipped on 8/4/16. After many, many hours spent on phone calls with them and with the shipping company, I still do not have my bed (it's 9/7). I have never been involved with a company who does not know what they are doing or what the shipping company is doing. They blame the shipping company and the shipping company blames them. And trying to get answers to any of it is like pulling teeth. Ridiculous! I will never do business with them again and would suggest you don't either!

I ordered a desk on a Wednesday and received an email that day notifying me that my order had been received and a follow up email would be coming to confirm the order prior to shipping. I didn't hear anything back from them so I called the customer service number that eventually told me to email customer service and hung up on me. I forwarded the email I received on Wednesday on Friday to customer service. I did not hear back from anyone by the following Wednesday, so I emailed customer service again saying I wanted to cancel the order. I received an email response 20 minutes later stating they were sorry to have me cancel my order. I checked my credit card and the pending charge disappeared. Two days later I received an email stating the desk was shipped and my card had been charged. No response from them since. STAY AWAY.

This was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had ordering from an online company! I called the company to check availability and I was told the items were in stock - so I placed my order over the phone, my card was subsequently charged and I received an order confirmation... then A FULL week later I received an email stating that the items on order are not in stock and won't be for almost 6 weeks! Who does that? Then when I called to speak to someone regarding this situation and asked for an explanation why they would have told me something was in stock when it wasn't the two "customer service" people so unbelievably rude to me! This was my first and last experience with this company and if you're smart you will not even consider ordering from them.

I ordered a computer desk with hutch was told it would be here on the 22 of Dec. It is the 24th and I still do not have it. It will be 2 weeks Sunday. If this is free shipping you can have it. This is definitely a scam company. There is no way to communicate with them. When you call, you are left on hold for hours until you hang up. They say there is live chat available, but there is no such thing. They say you can request a call back, but they never call back! They just take your money and make it impossible to do anything about it. I will now need to call Visa to request a dispute to get my money back.

Was so happy to find the Chintaly Nook dining tabke for $337 on walmart website, i bought it n they immediately debited my account. 2 days later on 6-22-17 got email saying price was incorrect n it really is $1098. They cancelled order n refunded my $. Not happy customer.

Rip off!
December 8, 2015

I ordered a very expensive piece of furniture after verifying that it was in stock before I ordered. I was notified 3 days later that it was out of stock and the order was cancelled. 10 days later no refund still. I got an email TODAY that it was cancelled (got one 10 days ago too) so I called and he said it is officially cancelled today and they would start processing refund. I had already called twice and been assured it was being expedited. They stay in business playing with other peoples money.
