Very bad service
February 10, 2022

I ordered my package on Jan 17,2022 and today is Fab 10,2022 and I am still waiting for my package. I did chat with the agent and she said, she is reshipping my order and one of my item is out of stock. During conversation she left the chat. I called customer service and the samething she said about my package and mentioned shipping company lost my package. Very bad service. I will never order anything from this website. 0 Mark

Love love Carters
December 10, 2017

I have shopped for Carters clothing for my grandchildren and have never been disapointed. I woukd go to the US but they have a store here in Abbotsford and they sell childrens clothing at Costco. Great quality and prices in store and online.

I'm shocked by the number of negative reviews for Carter's Online... I've had a totally opposite experience with this company.

I have nine - yes 9 - grandchildren and often send baby gifts. My "go to" gift for a new baby is a year of outfits - one in each age size - for the newbie. The items usually ship within a few days and I've only once had a delivery issue.

I recently ordered for a new baby and FedEx sent a delivery notice but the recipient had not received the gift. THIS IS A FEDEX ISSUE, NOT A CARTERS ISSUE. I called customer service at Carters, they sent out replacement items with expedited shipping the same day at no cost. Carters went above and beyond to resolve this issue! This is a great company with quality products at very reasonable prices.

I'll certainly continue to order from and be a Carters fan!

Worst service
March 7, 2021

Went to parkchester located. One lady employee was rude & was showing damn care. No greeding, no eye contact, no smiling. Instead of being kind, helpful she was showing her damn attitude. Wanted to ask her something but she didn't replied & was folding thr closths which isn't a good hospitality. As a regular member totally disappointed & will nolonger go there.

On Monday 1/31/22 I went to Carters in Dedham, MA to find some Valentine's Day clothes for my infant. As I was in the store looking, one of the associates kept following me around the store asking me if I needed anything SEVERAL times. I did ask her if they had anymore of a variety of Valentine's Day outfits, she then carried on texting on her personal phone after about 40 seconds she responds "yes that is all we have" and proceeded to show me other things not related to what I asked. I later went to the OshKosh side and she's staring at me and says "these are for older kids" I responded "I know I am looking at the socks rack" and she responds "Oh". The woman then asked another associate to "watch" me as she went to another section of the store.

I've shopped there many times and this is the first time I experienced something like this and I will never step foot in there again.

My first experience with Carter's online I received a confirmation email for my order and after 3 weeks I hadn't received my items. I called customer service and they told me the order had been lost. My second experience with Carter's online they changed my shipping address from the address I typed in to the address on my in store account. I no longer live at that address so I called customer service to ask if they could change where they ship it or cancel the order. They couldn't help even though the item had not shipped yet. The items finally arrived 2.5 weeks after I had ordered them. In the mean time I placed another order to be delivered to the correct address and it took 3 weeks before I received it. I know that shipping is delayed due to Coronavirus but 3 weeks is a little outrageous especially for baby clothes because half the time they grow out of a size in 3 weeks. Very disappointed in Carter's website. I have always had a good experience in the brick and mortar stores.

Several years ago when my boys were born, I had an issue with some hats. I posted a review and heard from an actual person who apologized and was super nice and super sorry. This year I've had a few issues. Below are my latest problems. Needless to say I'm done shopping there. In this economy who can afford to alienate customers?

I submitted a review for a swim shirt on their website. I was told it was moderated as not conforming to their T&C's which I read, and which it seems to be fine with. I think they didn't like that it was negative so refused to post it. My exact review is below.

"This is really cute and made well. Unfortunately our daughter wears it under a life jacket and it's too short. It is barely longer than the jacket itself and when she moves it rides up under the life jacket exposing her back. We have another brand In the same size and it's 2" longer. Sadly she won't be able to wear this this summer. She already got burned on her back once from wearing it."

Recently I had another issue with a purchase from Carter's. They had a big screw up with shoes and their response was, send it back and here's 20% off your next purchase. I talked to 3 different reps who all were indifferent to my issue. I'm done with them as a company now. There are too many other people in the market for me to deal with poor customer service. Below is my review that was too terrible for them to post about this sun shirt.

Deals and sale

I've noticed whenever I receive an email that says 1 hour sale 50% off I look back at last week's regular sale nothing changes same prices it's all a scam and there's times that I received my order and the clothes are too small or not the size I ordered and it does take quite a bit of time to get your order from Carter's

I first started buying clothes for my step son at cheaper stores, knowing that Carters and OshKosh are higher end. However, I quickly realized that the clothes I was buying were cheaper for a reason... material that falls apart and is uncomfortable for my child. I created an account with Carters/Osh Kosh, and they now send me e-mails with deals they have going on. Sometimes you can get INCREDIBLE deals. The quality of clothes is fantastic (having a boy, he puts his clothes to the test daily), and if you use the coupons they send you via e-mail, you can get great savings! In comparison to stores like Crazy8 and The Children's Place, Carters is the egg mcmuffin of kids' stores!

Website was not working properly last night when the buy 1 get 2 free promo was going on. I took screenshots with timestamps to prove how every time I tried to enter a promo code, I was sent to a different screen. After being a loyal customer for 20+ years, this is the first time customer service was this horrible. They refused to honor the BOG2 even though the order couldn't be placed because their site wasn't working properly. The attached is the chat transcript. We are all struggling financially so the deal was a great one, ESPECIALLY since my 4 y/o NEEDS 2 of those items

When the product is noit availbale in the store in the proper size, the clerk will joyfully offer to let you purchase it and have it shipped to your home. Do not be sucked into that trap!

Cater's uses a shipper named LaserShip (should be named LoserShip). The only thing Carter's can do when you do not receive your shipment is to cancel your order.

Never again! Too frustrating!

NEVER BUYING AGAIN

Carters rips up unused items and throws them in the garbage INSTEAD OF DONATING NEVER buying from you guys again it's f*** pathetic practice. Pathetic
How do
You honestly live with your self knowing there's so many children that go with out and you guys just sit there and cut up baby clothes and throw them away so they can't be used.

Just before mother' day 2018, I purchased several items from oshkosh/ Carters. I decided the best way is to purchased door busters. One of the items in my purchased was a skirt for $18.00 but it was buy one get 2 free. I continue adding other items to my basket and forgot to choose 2 extra colours of the said skirt. When I realized I sent an email, no reply. I'm still waiting on that email anyway the order arrived at my cousins address and she shipped it to my address. I immediately called customer service and notified them of my missing order. She is to let me know my two weeks deadline had pass and she cannot do anything about my order. I explained to her that at check out my order was still showing the item as buy one get 2 free, she said the company would send two even if the customer didn't choose. I even went further to say I sent an email as soon as I realized I didn't choose 2. This customer service lady just want me off the phone. She just keep saying I cannot do anything, it's too late. But I did sent an email with no reply. She offered a coupon on next order I was so pissed this was my first time buying from this company and I was extremely disappointed. And that particular skirt and others like it sells for basically under $5. A big company like this should do what is right. If the customer forget to choose then send 2, if that's what is offer. Feeling disappointed

I made the mistake of ordering from Carter's online. I like their products and will purchase from their in-person store and NEVER again online. They use Laser Ship for their deliveries (google them, they are TERRIBLE) - which is like the cheapest of outsourced delivery services. The last shipping update I got was that it was picked up and had made it to Ohio and delivery was expected on 11/24... and then nothing. No updates. I finally emailed Carter's customer service and Laser Ship's customer service on 12/2.

Carter's responded 12/3 and said: "We have located your order and our records indicate that your order has been deemed lost in transit by Laser Ship. At this time, could you advise on whether you would like for us to re-ship or refund your order?" Most of the items I ordered are now no longer available online and I'm now trying to cancel and have so far been unsuccessful.

Laser Ship also wrote back saying: "Unfortunately, Lasership is unable to confirm control of your package at this time. Due to the unconfirmed status, please contact your Seller for further assistance." So they lost the package, don't care, and are taking no responsibility.

Do not order from Carter's online.

Cheap zippers
December 5, 2016

Bought 5 new one piece sleepers with hood with ears. So cute. But 4 out of 5 zippers broke within couple of months. Waste of money. Spent $10 plus tax. Afraid to buy from there now.
