First time ordering from Carters and I will never shop there again. Terrible phone customer service. Unwilling to help. Terrible experience from the get go!
Bought $200 in baby clothes for my 6 month old baby, for her to have stuff to wear for the next 6-8 months. The package was lost, I never received it. Since the tracking shows as delivered to a 3rd party shipper (who never got it), they wont reimburse or replace my purchased items. They suggested I complain to my bank! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!
Carter's lost my order and never told me. Their process is to wait until I call them. In the meantime I was waiting for a coat my my toddler that never came!
Horrible customer service.
I placed my order on 12/09 online, and it was processed on 12/10. I called on Friday 12/20 and was told my order was to be delivered to the store on 12/23 for pick up. I call the store today, 12/23, they tell me nothing is in, and orders placed after cyber Monday will arrive AFTER 12/27. I have a huge issue with this, because if the site promises delivery within 3-7 business days, STICK TO IT OR NOTIFY SOMEONE! That simple. If they notified me, it would give me the option to wait or not. Now, I am stuck on hold, waiting for someone to cancel my order that has been in transit for 8 days, and my daughter has no new clothes for Christmas. If I knew this before, I would have never placed the order, OR if I knew sooner, it would have allowed me the option to either wait, or cancel and go somewhere else. To say I am upset with their lack of communication to the customer with ( CORRECT) information, is an understatement. I will NEVER ever in my life time, order from them online.
Super cute clothes a day when they have sales the prices aren't bad either. Really nice quality. Thick and soft. I love shopping at carters. Just wish they had free shipping all the time.
I placed an order on 4/13 and they immediately took my money before they shipped my package a week and a half later. Now my package has recently shipped and not expected to arrive until MAY 6TH. 1 week shy of a full month? What a joke. My son will probably have outgrown the clothes by then. Also, the customer service rep I spoke to, whose English was hardly recognizable, was unapologetic, monotoned, and of zero help whatsoever. And to top it off, they use FedEx smart post, which essentially takes as much time as they can to deliver your package to cut down on shipping costs to literally save pennies worth instead of using Ground or Priority. I wont hold my breath on the delivery date (as it's already changed twice). First and last time ordering from Carters online. This was the worst experience I've ever had ordering online. I wish I could cancel/return said items, but that's another nightmare in itself. They simply dont care about their customers or you getting your items in a timely fashion. Atrocious business practice.
If you aren't sure of the sizes DON'T EVER purchase online. Once you purchase wrond aize they will not make changes for you or cancelled your order for you, you will have to wait for items to ship home then go return it on your own to the store or send it back to them. What's the point of shopping online for our convenience?

I love the clothes and everything, but never purchased online, first time I did it was a MESS they send my order to a random address and when I called customer service they treated me really bad, finally I got to speak to a Supervisor that refunded my money, I felt so sad that I'll never buy online on carter's again...

This dress is SO comfy and cute. It's super simple to throw on for a day on the go, or to dress up for an evening out! I can't wait to get it in different colors!
I do shop here on a regular I have a 2 year old and we are limited to options for kids, buy I find it is a bit pricey especially when toddlers and infants grow out of clothing so fast I prefer Walmart and winners for affordable prices caters is if I have no options
Just like all the other reviews I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ONLINE AGAIN! The delivery time keeps changing. I went to Costco (bought Carters brand clothes) and mailed the clothes I bought there faster than ordering a week earlier on the website! If consumers quit ordering online maybe Carters will attempt to fix the problem!
I love Carters! I buy my children clothes from them all the time! They have adorable clothes for very reasonable prices! Never buy an item for full price, it will go on sale very soon!
I had several questions and asked customer service to clarify them. Customer support doesn't address my queries at all, made many mistakes, was very passive and did not help at all.
Do NOT order from this company, their website NEVER works for returns. You have to sit on hold forever trying to find someone that will help you but then you get transferred to different people. They promise they will call you back but no one ever does. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, unless you want to spend hours of your life trying to do a return. No one you call knows what they are doing and just keep transferring you from person to person
I called yesterday morning, left my number for call back. Hours later still waiting, so used a second line to call. No response after several hours. Day two of calling AGAIN! On call for several hours. Left contact number for call back to keep my place in line (Yea, right!). Still waiting and have a second line on hold waiting, also. I have never received the my order from 4/20/20 mail via USPS. The order was tracked to be delivered on 4/24/20, but not received USPS contacted 4/26/20 and completed form for lost package, which will take weeks to investigate. I have attempted to contact Carters to have the package sent again. I made a purchase and I want it now, not possibly weeks from now. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST AT CARTERS. Covid 19 may have caused some issues, but POOR to NO Customer Service can stop this customer from wanting to purchase AGAIN!

I am a returning customer, I like to shop on Carter's. They have very good deals and different styles. The only thing I can say I am not crazy for the quality of fabric.

Place order Black Friday it is 12/15/19 and my order is still processing. If there is a store near you or close it's worth the drive because this is ridiculous.

Answer: I have found better online. Sometimes just 2.99 for shirt, shorts or pj. I always buy off season and get Hugh discounts. The only problem is variety but I'm not picky. I just buy what I like and check again later. Good luck
