Horrible company

I will never order a part from carid again
Wasn't shipped when supost to took 6 days to receive an alternator. Once received alter was bad Called them so they could tell me that I had to have charging system diagnosed by a professional do I did now I'm on the 5th day waiting on them to email return labels horrible parts horrible customer service I would suggest to scroll right by carid

I purchased "leather" seat covers from Carid. I was assured that all seating surfaces are leather. They were not and cracked within a couple of years. They were unhelpful with this problem and told me that they did not say they were leather. This was not true. Their customer service after the sale is terrible. Do not buy from them!

Sales person flat out lied regarding parts and delivery dates.
Customer service is frustratingly bad, apologies galore but no action.
After discovering items were not available I cancelled the order but they still sent the items.
I would recommend not to deal with them.

I ordered Satin black rims with blue highlights. Once installed and in the light of day, they were purple and blue. They offered me $100 for my trouble not a refund or replacement. These babies are purple not black. "Nothing we can do since they were installed. Should have looked at them first." The lugs are black, the center caps are black... RIMS ARE PURPLE! I actually thought that this was a reputable company... I was wrong. They can keep the hundred bucks. That's a cheap price for a lesson. I will be telling everyone I know.

Scripted text customer services, using kind "scripted" words does not equate to quality customer services. They do not make it easy to process returns, absolute lie. Try to blame the customer for their faulty customer assistance in ordering parts in order to process a reduced refund. They take way longer than should be legally allowed to process a return. Constantly tel you thank you and it'll take 3-5 business days regardless. Use crutchfiled, save yourself some aggravation

NEVER AGAIN

I purchased some coilovers from this site and they got them to me quickly. However, for my application they just wouldn't coexist with my upper and lower control arms so I took them off and went back to stock. I requested an a return label on 4 different occasions. I would always get a return email saying they were going to get me a return label and I never received one. Each of the hour times I requested a return label I would then get the run around stating it was always someone else's problem and not theirs. Now I have 700$ paperweights that I have zero use for. I will never accept this as acceptable in regards to honest business practice. I haven't heard back from the company after my last email 3 weeks ago. No return label, no email back or any type of phone call. I would think some type of professional response would be more beneficial then leaving me out to dry on a purchase.

Horrible Refund Issue
January 24, 2022

Items were shipped via UPS, box was damaged badly. We reached out to Carid had a great 1st experience with a rep Gelo. I was assured they would put a claim in with UPS, never heard anything back from UPS. 6 days later I recieve an email from Carid stating the claim was denied and now I am out of $200 (2 items missing) plus dollars, no claim number for UPS. UPS refused to even review due to they are strickly online (do not us the UPS My choice app it will deny any claims due to a clause stating you release them from any liability). At this time submitting a dispute with my credit card company, total charge was $557 this is insane to sa the least. They refuse to assist you in anyway. Rip off company

Unfortunately, UPS has a strict policy and by selecting the Authorized Shipment Release service, you will be required to accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the package after it has been released at the address. Since the claim was denied, there is no way to process a return.

100% satified, They refunded the first purchase to make up for the none ordered second one. As they couldn't refund the duties and fees collected by ups. At the end we both lost, So that's about as fair as it gets.

I have never put in a review of any kind before. I think they are kind of meaningless. However, I feel that I must share my experience in order to help others to avoid making the same mistake I did. I ordered a set of Black Rhino armorys on November 29th of 2021. I understood that these rims were back ordered and was given an estimate of about 6 weeks until I got them. The only reason I chose this company was because they gave me the shortest estimate for the rims. Looking back, that was probably my mistake. Nonetheless, I trusted them. Eventually, the estimated delivery date came and went. About a week after, I got a notification that the rims were being shipped, but was given the wrong tracking number. I called and thought everything was sorted out, but then the company canceled my order. I called again and they said they had to redo the order for some obscure reason. I got a new order number and thought everything was ok until they told me the delivery date would be pushed back another month. WTF happened to the rims that had been "shipped out." I eventually called and decided it was time to cancel the order. I am hoping I get my money back, but we will see. They were shady about the entire process, making my life very difficult and overall buying process a nightmare. I am a 17 year old kid who had saved up a bunch of money in hopes of buying new rims for my truck. If I had turned to some other, more reputable brand, then my rims might be here by now. Since I chose the shadiest company out there, now my dad is mad at me and I still can not drive my truck. Trust me, save your money and time! Pick a brand that will not just straight up lie to your face.

2 months no refund

Was called by delivery late Friday afternoon, but didn't have service and didn't hear VM till Monday afternoon, only to hear they wanted to schedule a place to meet a semi on Monday morning. Called back the next day to be told I needed to call the next morning. Wasn't able to call then, but did call later again. When I finally got ahold of whomever I needed to speak with they said it was being returned to the manufacturer due to my lack of response. (?)
Called customer service and requested a refund since it was being returned. Said it would be 3-5 business days after it arrived at the manufacturer and I would receive a refund. 2 weeks, never got it. Called again. Was told the same thing. Never got it. Emailed. Was told the same thing. 3-5 business days. Never got it. Did the live chat. The person said they would have an update on 3-5 minutes. 10 minutes later the message that I got was that my chat had ended.

A good place to lose a lot of money for nothing.
If I could give zero stars for this fraudulent website I would. Anybody know where I can report them?

My 16-year-old son with his own money but headlights they arrived broken the box was fine the outside casing in the headlights was fine but the inside piece in the headlights was broke. Per CARID Request I emailed them 15 pictures of the box and the contents they won't let me talk to a supervisor, they told me FedEx would be contacting me to pick up the defective parts FedEx has not called me this is been going on for weeks. Their customer service is the worst I've ever ever experienced!

Worst customer service I have ever delt with. Ordered a resonator assembly a month ago they after over a week they sent me one of the two pieces of the assembly. Now weeks of calling them later and they insisted I reorder so they could send me the exact same thing parts ( and missing parts) that they sent me the first time. I have sent full documentation still no customer support! This is why I should have delt with a brick and mortar store. NEVER again this company is TERIBBLE

Spend a Little More - Buy Elsewhere

Preface - I gladly write positive reviews when warranted. In this case... not so much.

I have purchased two items from CARiD on two separate occasions. Both times, I had to contact Customer Support due to issues. The most recent (4 Mayhem 8015 wheels) involved a manufacturers defect on one wheel. Three weeks after submitting the warranty claim, I had still not heard back from CARiD. After the rep repeatedly gave me the 'company line' that they are waiting on the manufacturer to get back to them, I did not hang the rep until he called the manufacturer. BTW, I called the manufacturer myself to follow up and they confirmed that the rep called. However, they also confirmed that they did not have a prior claim.

Part two of this purchase fiasco involves the Installation Kit (lug nuts). Although CARiD had the Make, Model and Year, along with VIN to confirm sizes, they sent the wrong lug nuts with the wheels. Several emails and photos to show that each attempt was wrong, they still haven't gotten it right (see photo). The sales rep also failed to mention that I would need Hub Centric Rings for installation. I don't mind buying these on my own, but a little heads up would have been nice.

Since I'm here, I will comment on my first purchase - Westin Running Boards/Tubes. Once again, CARiD requires a VIN to make sure the customer orders the correct parts. What they won't tell you is that the part(s) may not fit exactly right. Case in point - After laying out all of the parts (brackets, bolts, tubes, etc) and watching an installation video, I proceeded to get the brackets on with ease. However, when I went to put the Driver side tube one, the holes on the tubes did not line up with the brackets. For kicks and grins I swapped the tubes and they did match up. The problem is, the running boards look awkward. In contacting the CARiD Support team, their first line of defense is user installation error. After sending them photos, they contacted the manufacturer who said it was user error or the tubes had to swapped (which is what I did - see photo). This little nugget of info would have been very helpful in my decision making process. CARiD did offer me $100 credit back on my card or I could return the parts. I took the credit because I didn't want to deal with taking everything off.

Sorry for the long review. Going forward, I will not be buying from CARiD again. I will pay a little more and get parts locally or from another online vendor.

Waranty lies

Purchased 4 20" fuel wheels with 35" Mickey Mickey Thompson at tires.One wouldn't balance so I called car id and they said it was just over 30 days so they won't do anything for me. The only reason I didn't have them on sooner is because I recieved them not balanced. They basically sent me a bunch of weights in a box. Not sure if there balance machine was broke or what. I have ordered from then in the past but this is definitely the last time. Very unhappy with the customer service.

Bad sensor

I purchased a 02 sensor from these peiple on November 27th 2021. It has a lifetime warranty and its bad. They want me to go back to where i jad it tested and produce a video of it showing its bad. WTH. There is no trust in customer relations here. I paid for a part that was free shipping then agter i pay for it they added shipping to it. When i got my bank statement it showed a shipping charge of $15.00. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Beware of buying tire rims from this site. Their customer service advice is wrong and so is their website. Their website advertises one size rim for a 2020 Toyota Corolla which I came to find out to late is NOT the correct rim size when I was about to mount the tire. I returned it due to this reason and they would not credit me the full refund, leaving me out $40+. I will never use this site again. After talking with them on the phone, they were very rude and refused to accept blame for their faulty website and advice.
