I recently booked a ticket from Lahore to London with Budget Air, expecting a seamless journey. However, I discovered that I needed a separate transit visa due to nationality requirements, which was not made explicitly clear during the booking process or in the terms and conditions.
My frustration was compounded by the fact that there was no way to contact a human customer service representative to address my concerns when booking through Budget Air. Instead, I had to rely on a chatbot, which, after just 30 minutes of booking, issued a partial refund. This left me feeling ripped off and dissatisfied with the overall experience.
I believe it's essential for online travel agencies like Budget Air to be more transparent about visa requirements and provide better customer support options for situations like this.
I encourage others to be cautious when booking through Budget Air and to double-check visa requirements for their specific nationality to avoid any unexpected complications. While I had hoped for a smoother journey, my experience has left me disappointed.

I bought my flight ticket in April, but I wasn't sure if I needed to travel or not, so I was just looking up the cancellation policy to see how it worked. I asked the agent during our conversation what the charges would be if cancelled, but I had no idea that agent already revoked my ticket, which is absurd. That entire night, my family and I tried to get in touch with the representative's, but we had no answer from them. When I went to look up their contact information, there was only a chat option; none of the agents were also replying through the chat. According to a mail I received it says your refund has been approved and you should receive it in 10 to 8 weeks. Now that 18 weeks have passed, I still haven't gotten my reimbursement. I tried to contact budget Air for a few days, but I was unable to chat. I'm not sure if they've blocked my account or what. Recently, while I try to chat with their agents, they simply say that it will take some more time. It's already past their policy period, therefore I requested a specific answer as I was fed up of all the bull$#*! they are giving me. Whenever I request a chat option within two minutes I received a message in the middle of the discussion saying thanks for speaking with us. I hope you had a wonderful day nonsense, however my problem is not being fixed, and neither is the processing of my reimbursement, and no one is replying. In a recent chat, the agent said, "give me few minutes to check the account." He never responded, and despite my many attempts to reach him, I have still not received an answer. ALL THE PROOFS ARE ATTACHED WITH THE REVIEW.
Still waiting for my refund after the unsessessful booking in this website. They said 5-10 business days.
I can't believe this company and the run around they give you. We booked tickets the beginning of August to fly to Kelowna and a couple weeks later the city was under fire and airport shut down. I called this company to cancel my flights or to get some kind of voucher. They told me that they couldn't do nothing for us and to call westjet. I called westjet I was told no you paid bugetair that's who needs to refund you or give you a voucher. Called again to budget and again no you talk to westjet and also explained that my dad has a lung disease and even if Kelowna was to open I cannot take him there for our family trip. I called budget again probably the 5th time of run around. I ask ok can I pay a fee to move my tickets to a different time it's $77 per person and also a extra $100 per person l was going to proceed but you had to already book your flight for down the road thought that was weird but thought ok fine but when they came back on the phone and said it's also another fee of $240 per person on top of the other fees! I almost lost my mind. I can't believe this company is getting away with this.I will never ever deal with company again and STRONGLY suggest others don't as well.
If you want to waste your time! Waiting for your pending money to get back to your account after the ticket got canceled? Go with this website Budget Air. I booked my flight for $ 1351, and after 5 hours got canceled for no reason. When I called them it said the flight got canceled by airline, I checked for the same flight was still online but for $1530. This is the last time I will book through this shu**** website,

I would have give negative star if i would have option for that. They are ridiculous. No customer service. No public number for call even if there is emergency. I used first time and i regret for it. I would strongly believe not to ever use this website.
I have two dissipute issue with Budget airline booking.
1. I booked my flgit ( with retun flight) for Vistara using skyscanner website using Budget airline Uk agent booking. In skyscanner, budget airline showing cheap pricce in Euros currency. But when i booked my fligh and did payment using my credit card then they deduct in pound from my bank account. It means amount sowing in euros but deduction in pound. Which is purely dissipute and cyber crime.
2. During my return flight Delhi to Frankfurt (which will be on 20th), i have some health problem. So i want to cancel my flight. I already taken a hooper service means i can canel my ticket any time ( before checkin). For that i already paid extra amount 123£ to budget airline. Now today (19th), i want to cancel my Return journey. But budget airline saying, your policy is expired, you cannot cancel your journey. If you cancel your journey, you will not get any refundable amount. This is completely making fool to customer amd trust.it also dissiputes, they are not stands on their cancellation policy.
These above two point prove that Budget airline is making dissiputes and cyber crime with customer.
I bought a ticket for tomorrow, never received e-ticket, because they never booked it however the money was taken from my card. Google flights recommended it. Shame!

Never ever go near them
Booked tickets for my parents for 15/08/2023 going to pakistan. Spoke to James paid ticket price. Got the confirmation of tickets.
Checked the online status of tickets on Qatar Airways today and it says (TICKET GOT CANCELLED)
Called budget Air to find out what happened. First couldn't get hold of any one foe 2 hours. Finally asif picked up and said will check and get back to u. Waited another hour no response. Called them back and after half an hour of continuous calling he picked up. And said the ticket prices went up for that flight and they cancelled the ticket. Without informing me.
Asif asked to call back in 1 hour to find out if they can do something.
1 hour gone, calling them continuously for 1 hour. Now they dnt answer my phone.
My parents visa expires on 15/08/2023. And I m left less helpless.
Asked them to transfer me to the manager and I dnt think they have a manager.
They didn't send any email telling me ticket got cancelled. Now the tickets gonna cost me over £2000. And no one is answering the phone.
Poor poor customer service. And its a scam. Dnt ever book tickets with them.

Booking was ok but for issues like airline schedule changes or anything that you need to deal with. Zero options for reaching customer care. Have to wait for days to get reply email only. You will be left with zero help. Look for other who has custom call center or non-bot based chat support. The bot chat they have is useless. It has only few options to choose. Useless..
When booking a flight through avelo air, budgetair.com stated that there was an included hand luggage and personal item. This is false and when i try to check if there is a carry on for avelo they actually wouldnt allow one saying i never paid for it. This is not aveolos problem, this is an issue with budgetair.com
Booked my flight says it confirmed only to receive an email the next day saying they have cancelled my booking. Now they won't refund my money for the next 10 business days. Like wth. At least give the fkn money back so i can book else where. Its a scam don't ever book on this. Avoid using skyscanner too because they promote this airline company on their platform.
When the ticket was cancelled... they say that i can use these credits anytime on any flight. Later on they change stance and say that these tickets can only be used for a dedicated route.
Also wont refund the amount and would ask to contact airlines to get the refund. Do not book through this site. Their support is the worst.
Booked a flight they send me confirmation that I'm allowed carry on luggage when I tried to check in with the air line been asked to pay 130£ for the carry on luggage. I contacted budget air they don't want to know absolutely scam

Tried buying tickets for my grand kids to come to Florida everything went thru got my reservation number was just waiting on our itinerary but never received it, instead received an email the following day saying the seats are no longer available but you already took my money how does that work! Just really pissed now you have my money on hold but I don't have the tickets never using this site again! Very pissed Grandpa in Orlando (busa*******) was my reservation number before the let down!

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Budgetair, and it was by far the worst experience of my life. They not only swindled me out of an outrageous $5000, but their customer service, located in India, was a complete joke. It seemed like their only purpose was to make my life even more miserable.
Let's start with the heart of the issue – my hard-earned money. Budgetair shamelessly took $5000 from me without delivering on any of their promises. It's as if they viewed me as an easy target for their money-grabbing schemes. They showed absolutely no regard for honesty, integrity, or the consequences of their actions.
Now, let's talk about their customer service. Or should I say lack thereof? The representatives I encountered could barely speak coherent English, making communication a nightmare. It felt like I was talking to a brick wall, as they showed no effort or willingness to understand my concerns or provide any assistance. It was beyond frustrating and left me feeling utterly helpless.
As if that wasn't enough, Budgetair seemed determined to make my life even more miserable. They turned a blind eye to my pleas for help, leaving me stranded with no solutions or resolutions to my predicament. They couldn't care less about the troubles they caused or the impact it had on my life.
In conclusion, I cannot stress this enough – stay as far away from Budgetair as humanly possible. They are a disgraceful company that preys on innocent individuals, with abysmal customer service and a complete lack of empathy or responsibility. Save yourself the agony, stress, and financial loss by choosing a reputable travel agency that actually values its customers.

Answer: Yes it is that bad. Stay away, you never know if your booking will go through or not. They charge ridiculous service fees so if you dont have the correct type of card (mastercard, visa, debit, credit etc), they will charge you upwards of $20 minimum to make your booking.
Answer: I know I am answering this too late but trying to cancel through Budgetair is a NO GO they do not answer the phone or emails it is a complete and utter scam. Always cancel with your airline first to be safe like I did... Since early February Budget Air has yet to answer the phone or return my emails, AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
