I still haven't received my order, three weeks after ordering. It took two weeks to dispatch. I e-mailed the customer service to cancel my order a week and a half after placing it, as it wouldn't arrive on time. No response to my e-mail, no acknowledgement. The good have been dispatched eventually, still waiting for them to arrive. Never again.

Recently needed to return some items to the USA. On enquiry, even though my items had be sent to me by post satchel, and arrived in perfect condition, Borderfree required that they be couriered back. This would have been outrageously expensive approximately AUD50! Postage to me was only AUD14. Very unreasonable.
Ordered 2 items with Nordstrom Nov24/17. The first shipped promptly. The second parcel did not show a tracking number. After several phone calls and emails with Nordstrom, I am finding out today (Dec15/17) that the order was received and signed for by Borderfree on Dec4/17 but is lost in the facility! Sad to say that I will not shop with any company that uses Borderfree especially after seeing so many negative reviews. Poor customer service from Borderfree!
Placed an order with Nordstrom via Borderfree. Nine days later, the item hadn't shipped yet, so I contacted Nordstrom. They said the item was backordered and that Borderfree would have emailed me about it -- but of course, they hadn't. Now my order isn't shipping until three weeks after I placed it, with no notice at all from Borderfree.
Just never expecting they can refund your duty and tax paid. As in Canada we all know that we pay to CBSA when importing goods form other countries. Bought a rebecca minkoff bag and returned it. And have no way to contact Borderfree to get refund on DUTY and TAX. From Rebecca: we do not refund duty and tax since we did not charge it from you. No offence to Rebecca Minkoff as their CustCare is very decent, they reply fast and efficiently solving the issue. However, went to Borderfree, no number to call no email to send( their mailbox is un-maintained according to the auto reply I get) so it is a dead end in their contact method. Borderfree only left a number to call once you placed an order with them, later on when you try to call this number, the number hang you up if you are not an retailer but just a consumer. They ask you to contact your retailer regarding any issue you have. But what about the charges like Custom Duty they charged? No answer, no response. Do not ever get involved with retuning something. A good lesson learned. Just hope the justice will come. A company like this should never be operating
I ordered from Asda, which went through borderfrree. I had to chase through Asda for an order email and order no. When I returned an item, I had to go through asda customer service. Borderfree have nothing on their website re returns policy, Returns are hassle and costly (found out later by email). I returned direct to Asda, still no refund. It is horrible. DO NOT USE
Exactly same experience as previous reviewer from Australia. I ordered shoes from Ireland for my son which were expensive enough to start with. I had to return shoes as they did not fit and had to cover all duties, taxes for receipt of shoes and cover all return charges. I would have expected to pay for return charges but not the rest! I ended up with no shoes and the refund did not cover the oost of the shoes or any of the other expenses incurred. Lost out approx. 100 euros in the whole transaction and no shoes! Never again! Be warned!
There is a website (borderfreeus.com). They introduced their self as a branch of borderfree.com. They made me to deliver their packages then after two weeks when it came to payment time they didn't answer my calls and emails. I know their office address and etc is fake, but I have their USA phone number. I need your advices where I can report this scam? Should I report it to my county police or somewhere else?

Please do not use this service. Not only is it a ripoff to ship an item in the first place, if you have to return something, they charge international shipping rates to return. If you have to send something internationally, just buy it and send it yourself. It will save an enormous amount of hassle and expense in the long run.
I am in Australia and bought a pair of shoes from the US Naturalizer website. The shoes cost me $AUS 97.95 and then had $AUS 38.20 postage and handling fee added. When I got them they didn't fit so I had to return them. As Naturalizer is part of the Borderfree arrangement I have to return the shoes to Borderfree in the US who then claim part of my refund ($AUS 51.90) to return the shoes to Naturalizer in the US. My refund ends up being a measly $AUS 49.95. And I still have to pay for the postage back to Borderfree, a cost unknown until I get to the post office- so my shoes have cost me more than I ever thought possible! So learn from my experience and unless you know exactly what you want, don't use a retailer that is part of Borderfree.
I was excited to get things from abroad using Target as a first experience. Everything was fine and said it shipped then I got emails saying they tried to charge my account twice for items I already paid for which cost me nearly 100 euro to begin with. I called borderfree for an hour no one answered I emailed them no reply I called Target and got someone who could barely speak english and after taking all my information told me to call borderfree then hung up on me what a waste of my time and money now I don't know if my items are going to come and if I should report borderfree to my bank as being fraudulent by trying to access funds they aren't worthy of since I paid already. I will not be using Target again and would rather shop at walmart online if they had online services which says a lot since I strongly dislike them as a company, avoid at all costs unless you like being scammed.
I ordered a Chloe bag for Christmas from Barneys through Borderfree and received a confirmation email for it. I waited for nearly 3 weeks and they send me an email to cancel my order. WTF! My bag was lost in the delivery! WTF! WTF!
SAKS.COM international shoppers beware. You make your purchase and then get 6 emails saying it's confirmed but that it's being 'PROCESSED'... had that status sit for a week before I had to call and find out why my item hadn't shipped yet. Turns out by then, it was no longer available... brutal. If you're going to be an online retailer, process payments IMMEDIATELY and communicate with your customers properly.
I used Borderfree only a couple of times and both times most items were not shipped. I received a complete refund for the first order because the item was not available (even though the item was available on the website).
The second time I ordered 2 items from Macy's. According to the shipping invoice, the package I received was supposed to include two items, but it contained only one item. I sent an email regarding the missing item to Macy's through the Borderfree websiste, but did not get a response. I called Macy's but did not receive a call back. Finally, I found another phone number for Macy's and the customer service agent informed me that the missing item had been returned! I am confused because the item was supposed to be in the parcel that I received. I am told that I will receive a refund for the cost of the missing item in a couple of business days. I have decided that I will not be using ordering through either Borderfree or Macy's online.
After reading so many negative reviews I felt I have to leave mine too. I have ordered a few times from USA sites (I am in the UK) and every time items were shipped using Borderfree. I have used Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and now Saks (I placed an order yesterday). I assume it depends on the shop you are dealing with and placing an order with rather than Borderfree.
Bought a large 3ft fairly heavy trunk from ebags.com via borderfree. Wondered if the free delivery offer would be honoured - from USA to Australia on a heavy item was approx $200 freight. But within 10 days I received the trunk via DHL couriers and there were no extra charges for duty or taxes and Yes got the delivery free! SUPER HAPPY!
I felt like I should do a good review here as I saw all the bad ones and was all worried about my order. I had made the order, then looked at reviews afterwards and was like, oh man, what have I done? But honestly, I had a very good experience. I ordered two awesome bracelets from Nordstrom in the US,. Shipped to Canada. $350. No hidden costs, no delays. Came as expected. Great product, no hastles. I wouldn't be too worried about dealing with these guys. It's important to remember they ship thousands and thousands of items with no issues, statistically there are always going to be issues at the border which delay shipments once in a while and there are statistically always going to be people who are dissatisfied with things no matter what.
Horrible service, tried three cards I've used before, two attemps via Paypal, and nothing goes through, even if it goes smoothly with Amazon or Ebay. Too complicated, you go to the store, and sometimes the store wants to charge you directly and not through Borderfree. You understand why Amazon and Bezos rule, this is borderline crazy and dumb...
That it takes long to ship something from A to B, that I can understand. But why does it take such a long time to even BEGIN the shipping?! For almost 50 euro for shipping a jacket it should be possible to work a little faster!
