I was "employeed" with Border free for the one month probationary period, and after they got their free month out of me, the person I was corresponding with completely fell of the face of the earth, I never got the check for a whole months of work, and they locked me out of my employee portal. This company should absolutely be investigated by the proper authorities and shut down immediately! Do not make purchases via Border free! I doubt the poor customers have actually received their products; and even more so, do not fall for their employment scam! You will waste time, money, and other resources! Please learn from my mistake!
Bought 2 suits from Border Free. They turned up late and one of them had the wrong pants (different brand and completely wrong colour). Have tried to get the right pants now for over a month, or a refund, but keep getting the run around. Never again...
Update - my time expired. No emails or calls back and out of pocket $500 for a suit I never got.
I would never use this service from a retailer again who uses them. It took 30 full days for them to sort a refund on a return item, and that is their standard policy. Completely unnecessary wait time for return of purchases, when the purchase was over £1000.
Hi ordered a product from US to India on Nov 21st. The product is Bond-touch. Uncommongoods use BorderFree as their delivery partner and this company uses DHL express as their carrier.
Uncommongoods said its going to take 15 days to deliver the item. But its more than that I couldn't get the delivery.
Because the product was bond-touch, I placed the shipping address to a house address of my friend and wanted the delivery there. Which is 1 lane behind our house. But now DHL express is asking for an address exact matching proof of the consignee. Since my address in the documents is different than shipping address, DHL Express asked me to send a confirmation letter of change in address from Borderfree.
When I asked BorderFree, they said we cannot provide that.
When I asked UncommonGoods, they gave me this following response in a mail.

In indian currency, this costs over 14,000 rupees. I am not sure about my product when I will be receiving.
It just takes a minute or so just to send a confirmation mail for change in address and still borderfree (uncommongoods carrier) is not providing and stuck still with the customs.

The company does not seem to have any link with companies they supposedly represent. I ordered from Dooney &Bourke and two weeks in, my order through Borderfree is still pending. I want to cancel my order and I still have to find on their website if I can do this.

There is a website (borderfreeus.com). They introduced their self as a branch of borderfree.com. They made me to deliver their packages then after two weeks when it came to payment time they didn't answer my calls and emails. I know their office address and etc is fake, but I have their USA phone number. I need your advices where I can report this scam? Should I report it to my county police or somewhere else?

Borderfree has very high fees. They are slow to attend problems, if thy ever do. And, the access system they use for their site does not work.
I ordered through Saks Off Fifth, which like Borderfree, they're both simply inaccessible from the moment they close the sale. Now the situation is that Borderfree has debited the same amount twice from my bank account for a single order. The one debit they've processed, the other one is left hanging in my bank account, and my bank refuses to reinstate the money back into my account without a mere letter from Borderfree to authorize the reinstatement. Both Borderfree and Saks Off Fifth are simply not interested in sending me the letter to correct an error that is squarely of their commission and making. To crown with a cherry a vile pie I'm supposed to swallow - I still have not received my parcel...
This company are the biggest scam artists around. DO NOT order anything through them EVER! You will never see your money or the product you paid for again.
Can't submit this review unless I rate Borderfree at least 1 star which they do not rate. I placed the order September 3. It shows that it cleared customs on September 14 - today is September 24. The tracking number they gave me indicates that it is being shipped via Intelcom courier company but the tracking number is untraceable. I will NEVER order from LL Bean again as long as they are using this service. Beware!
They take the money out of your account and 10 days later still have no goods. Am thinking of going to my credit card company to get my money back. The email address they offer doesn't work

Borderfree a part of pitney bowes must be a scam. I ordered and all paper work comes from borderfree not the dealer DHL does not believe there paper work as cost. So it is in Cebu, PH. I have to prove what i payed and what i payed. I do not owe VAT tax on frieght is it my job to teach ignorant people how to do there job? THIEVES AND LIARS seem to fit. BORDERFREE needs to do there job or pay me to do for them. The same goes for DHL shippingi am still fighting, if i refuse order i still pay? Read there agreement!
For correctness I have to write that last weekend they made a partial refund but they charged me for their errors. They subtracted from the refund both the initial shipping costs and that of the return of the product which were double the initial ones.
In the end they sent a different product and I paid for their mistake so my initial review doesn't change IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY DON'T BUY FROM THEM
I bought through them from dune london and a different product was sent to me. I reported and they sent me the return label. I returned the product and through paypal I opened a report to get back my money. Tracking shows that they have received the product but they have told paypal that I have not sent anything. SHAME ON YOU. Dune londo confirms that the product has been received and they say it's not like this. Really crazy, for me seems that this situation is not real. If you don't want to lose your money, don't buy from them
I ordered some items from Williams Sonoma USA to be shipped to Singapore, because there was a 50% discount on shipping. Otherwise I wouldn't have ordered the items. Like many of you who wrote your reviews here, Borderfree charged me the full shipping cost. I wrote to customer service and they denied the 50% discount. Whether it's an offer from Williams Sonoma or Borderfree, that's not my problem. Somebody has to honor that offer as it's published on the Williams Sonoma website. It is even on the page when I checked out.

I used Borderfree only a couple of times and both times most items were not shipped. I received a complete refund for the first order because the item was not available (even though the item was available on the website).
The second time I ordered 2 items from Macy's. According to the shipping invoice, the package I received was supposed to include two items, but it contained only one item. I sent an email regarding the missing item to Macy's through the Borderfree websiste, but did not get a response. I called Macy's but did not receive a call back. Finally, I found another phone number for Macy's and the customer service agent informed me that the missing item had been returned! I am confused because the item was supposed to be in the parcel that I received. I am told that I will receive a refund for the cost of the missing item in a couple of business days. I have decided that I will not be using ordering through either Borderfree or Macy's online.
I will never use this company again. I didn't have any idea who they were until I was told by Party City that they would be responsible for shipping. I ordered my products on May 10th, I received notice that some of the products would be shipped later. Because of the length of time it took them to get any of the products to me I was concerned that the remainder of the order would arrive too late for the event we were having. I phoned them and sat on hold forever, I wrote them twice via their company e-mail and never received any kind of response. I finally received a notice that the remainder of the order would arrive on June 2. The order arrived, it wasn't what I had ordered and they had charged my visa account in the amount which would have been correct if they sent me the right item. It is now too late to order another one. I talked to party city and got a refund for the incorrect product but wasn't refunded my shipping fee. This company is an international warehouse for a number of merchants so they are the ones that are responsible for actually packing and sending the order. Their shipping fees are ridiculous, in many cases the shipping fees were more than the cost of the product. If you find out that your order will be handled by Borderfree forget it. Their customer service is the worst!
I ordered boots from Aquatalia on line, and had to process my order through this company. They slugged me a large excess for postage and taxes!
I had to return the order, my parcel was received by them in Sydney according to tracking but to date (2 weeks later) I have had not acknowledgement of return, no refund, they will not speak to customers by phone, their contact details do not allow you to email them, their system has wiped my email and account details, and I am short of just under $1000!
I have called Aquatalia in the US, and they cannot help.
If anyone can help me sort this out, I would be grateful.

After dealing with their RUDE staff - it is ''expected'' to be shipped on April 27.
