Irresponsibility

I bought a king size bed online at Big low in snellville saying the bed was available and rented a truck an hour and a half away when I got to the store the item I had bought was damaged.

False Advertising

I gladly made a $7,000 furniture purchase at Big Lots with the expectation of the current deal that was going on that I would get rewarded $10 per every $100 spent. Three weeks pass and no rewards so I call and they tell me it won't show on my accoung until March 7. I check on that date and it's only $100 so I call back because it should be close to $700. They tell me that it caps off at $1,000 yet this was not told to me when making my purchase. I go into the actual store to tell the employee that sold to me and she even said they were not aware of it capping off at $1,000, she also told me that no where does it even say that. So I think someone needs to be at fault for this situation. I was expecting that $700 to help me purchase another bedroom set, but this company would rather loose $7,000 because I'm at my wits end and will be returning everything and getting my money back and taking my business elsewhere.

Went to big lots to buy a recliner. And wanted to apply for a credit card cause they are doing a special offer. But i will never shop here or apply for a card. Even had my mom come to fill it out to and we both have excellent credit. And every time you try to apply all it says that they will send out a letter.

Bad business in IL

We purchased our third mattress service from Big Lots and it was our first King size purchase. We have been fighting with them for almost two years to replace a sunken mattress. I have called Corporate 6 times and the district manager blew us off. The manager worked us a deal but because I called Corporate we were told the mattress when it finally arrived had been damaged in a flood, only our mattress was damaged but it was dry out no rain in weeks. I contacted BBB and they said Big Lots was going to work with us. Now conveniently the manager doesn't want to deal with us, another manager hid and would not come out, so they guy we talked to looked for our deal and our paperwork had disappeared. Just called Corporate again and in the middle of me talking I'm disconnected. We just want to sleep well and not walk up sunken in and hurting. My next step is to call The Fixer on our local news.

I have never had such a problem ordering online from a store till I encountered Big Lots. They make u jump through so many hoops to place an order your head is spinning. Between I'm not a robot and all the other junk they make u do I had a migraine headache by the time I was done. Please redo your website. Geezus!

Keeps canceling my order

I ordered 6 times on big Lots. Com
And I use my rewards points and discounts and they say they have the items in stock but they keep canceling my item and I keep losing my rewards points and coupons discounts then I call them they say they are going to give me back my points and discounts then I try using them but I can't it said not a valid discount. I will no longer buy from big Lots. Com because it sucks I will only go to the store to buy my items and I will not recommend any of my friends and family members to shop biglots.com

Such rude people

The women at this big lots were so rude to me, and i genuinely believe it was because i was pretty. Y'all need to get ur act together and be more mature. I had an interview at 2:20 and didn't get taken back for it until 3. Awful.

I went into the store and was in the store for maybe 2 hours. During that time the lady helping with furniture seemed very informative to start. I had finally found the living room set i wanted as well as the throw pillows. I was told as i stood there beside the register for several minutes as i could hear store workers ask in the distance if they could help several customers... they were all helped in very timely fashion. I still waited patiently, 2 employees walked past and let me know someone will be with me shortly, i waited another at least 10-15 min finally the person in the furniture area came out, on her way to me she had to help someone else for another 5 min,,,, very upsetting but i waited, when the lady finally made her way back i immediately let her know what furniture i wanted low and behold they only have a sofa to the set that i want, i then asked about my second and 3rd picks and again they had one piece and not the other. The tags on each said "in stock" every piece and the time she took selling the furniture only to know they had not one single set not one! Today was the very worst experience i have ever had in a store. False ads and very poor or short staff. Take my advice and run! I was so disappointed i took pics of the signs which falsely advertised the furniture as being "in stock" the lady had me looking for furniture for 2 damn hours to find they had not one set!

Ordered 17 items on Big Lots on-line system. All 17 items showed as ordered and was charged for all 17 items. So far so good. Next day when the fun started, I started getting several small charges from Big Lots on my credit card. By day 2 I had 4 new charges from Big Lots, one for full purchase plus 4 smaller charges for about 25.00 on top of the full payment of 70.00 totaling 95.00. When I called Big Lots they said this is there normal practice. This is absurd that they are charging on my credit card with out my permission and way over charging twice for the same items. On top of this my credit card company charges for each transaction, so I expected 1 charge and now at the end of day 5 I have a total of 7 charges from credit card company and way over for 100.00 in charges for 70.00 dollars of merchandise. Scam and should be up for criminal charges for unauthorized charges my credit card. WAIT, the best is still coming. Today at the end of day 5 I get a email from Big Lots cancelling 12 of my 17 items. Turns out they never had 12 of the 17 items I ordered on day 1. How in anyone's mind can you order on day 1 and if you did not have items it should have not allowed, warned, or canceled those items when ordering that you did not have items in stock. By far the worst experience and ordering system is by Big Lots, EVER. So at the end of Day 5 I have 5 items that should have cost me no more then 20.00 dollars, right now I have charges that is costing me around 115.00 dollars. I will NEVER, EVER deal with Big Lots again. Now I have to do all the work to get my money back. The correct amount of stars is -5.

I have had my furniture for a year and half. When we purchased and were offered the warranty we asked what it covered, and were told everything! Rips stains broken pieces you name it, it was covered! Well I noticed my sectional ripped from were it was becoming undone at the bottom and called today. Guess what? Rips, torn, badly sown furniture isn't Covered. Waste of my 150 dollars I paid for insurance I asked so what's covered and she replied to look on online at the guidelines..

Bought a couch from big lots. Thought it was cute, simple, and cheap (if you call 400 cheap). As broke college students, it fit the budget and the lifestyle of simple lounging. However now after a few months the backboard pieces are breaking apart. Couch is very gently used by fiance and I and our cats. No reason it should have broken this easily. Very disappointed because now we're out $400+ and comfy living room seating.

On May 26th I went into Big Lots in Raynham, MA. I spoke to Tom Johnson, Furniture Manager, and he explained the different items I wanted to purchase. I am a difficult customer and he had patience, very knowledgeable, professional and he helped me decide what was great for my needs. He is an asset to your company. I will purchase again. The furniture area was well organized and very clean.

A HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FRAUD ON REWARDS
June 10, 2021

Spent 324.00 on furtniture, i was supposed to get 10.00 dlls x every 100.00 i spent, they told me i was going to get it by email from 7 to 10 days, 15 days later and nothing, i called, they said it will be automatically placed on my acct and had to wait for the bill statement, bill came, nothing, i called, they told me I had to go to my account online to see them, went, nothing, called the store, the manager was rude and told me he had to check that promotion because it might be expired, i told him i notated the info and he did not believe me, his name is raul, said he was going to call me back, i expect no call back and another horrible experience and no call. That was fraud and lies to customers, never got the rewards, email or notification, fraud.

This is my 3rd online order this year. I'm constantly kicked off the site aned need to log onto my account again. Cancelled items NOt even emailed to notify me. I kept logging on. ANY promotional coupon shoud END when the stupid store closes not 11:59 est BECAUSE customer serive closes then also so you can't get any help and lose out on coupons, no matter how many times you close browser, log on, clean cookies and history. I think my 2 purchases before took 3 damn DAYS to complete. I was at war with the website and somwhow won. Even the cancelled- out of stick items magically appeared in 2 order on same day! So now i had another coupon AND my birthday coupon to use. Well apparently I kept shopping and editing my cart and now the pop up says I USED BOTH COUPONS! BUT I NEVER PLACED AN ACTUAL ORDER! Smoke is pouring out of my ears now. So my $10.00 birthday coupon is gone! Like wtf? Big lots website sucks! OH btw- most of the stuff you can buy on their website you CAN"T BUY in one of their actual stores! So you can't even get it in the store! Thye have the worst inventory control in a business I have even dealt with. The stuff's great if you can actually get the items you paid for to ship to your home which is what makes me try again like a stupid idiot. They get NO STAR RATING FROM ME!
