All you have done is run off the heels of future shop and your ways of business has not changed its growth. Unfortunately I will never do businesswith them and suggest know one else does either.
Another antiquated business that needs you to create yet another marginal internet account instead of using top-level single sign on SSO providers e.g. Google, Facebook
I needed an affordable laptop and ended up buying and ACER Aspire refurb on BestBuy.com and had it shipped to my house.
Overall, happy with the purchase over four years later.
The manager at the Rosenberg Texas Best Buy ripped me off for almost $5000 when I purchased ALL of the brand new Samsung and Whirlpool appliances for my new home from his store.
The refrigerator went out in six months. I called Best Buy to replace it. They refused. The Microwave broke at about a year and the dishwasher broke at about 2 years. Replaced all of them with non-Samsung products.
I called the SOB manager at Best Buy Rosenberg and told him that I"LL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT BEST BUY EVER AGAIN because Best Buy does not stand behind it's products and really doesn't care about taking care of their customers.
It's likely the guy sold me floor models, refurbished or seconds without telling me.
I've shopped Best Buy for many, many years and believe it or not, never had an issue with anything I've bought! I don't think I can say that about very many places. Their workers are so knowledgeable and friendly, I know, there's always a few that aren't so much! But if one isn't helping enough you can bet that there will be another that will in no time! I've found them to be very honest with me about which is a better deal or product. They don't try to sell me the most expensive, just share what they know and what the customers find to be the best buy for their money. I like that they have so many employees at each store so it's never a problem getting help or asking questions. Their prices are competitive, and they'll even buy back and give you credit towards something new! Love that part! I think I've bought every piece of electronics and appliances I own there. I'm one to shop around for the best deal and it keeps bringing me back to Best Buy. Plus I don't think I've ever had to pay for shipping on an item, so why go out if it's delivered right to your door? I know they've had to close several stores, I just hope they don't close mine! Highly recommend.
This time I have purchased 128GB SSD from bestbuy. And now my laptop boots at rocket speed. Really happy with the price and product and their super fast delivery.
I've have never had a problem with bestbuy.com very easy-to-use. Products received within credible time. Also the pick up at store option is also a plus and very quick
I went and bought a brand new fridge from Best Buy and 2 months later it has broken and it is not getting cold! I have asked Best Buy multiple times for help and all they do is blame it in the fridge maker Whirlpool. Whirlpool has also been no help in getting the fridge fixed and now thanks to the horrible people at Best Buy we are stuck with a broken fridge. I am so upset about Best Buy, they will never get any of my business again! I highly suggest TO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCES From Best Buy!
I needed a product the same day and needed to pick it up at Best Buy during my short lunch break. Therefore, I ordered it online for one hour pick up. The receipt even stated it would be available in one hour. Also, the latest commercials even make the same claim. However, when I arrived two hours later and after waiting for 20-minutes at the pickup desk, it was not ready for pickup. The employee told me that the order may not be ready for days as they had over 300 online orders to prepare, but only had one employee assigned to pick them up. I had to cancel my order and go find the product myself. Then I returned and found out that one was working the checkout stand and I had to checkout using the pickup desk again. After another 30-minute wait, I was able to checkout and return to work late. So, Best Buy advertises that for your convenience you can order online and pick up your product in an hour. However, in actuality, it took me almost an hour to get my product myself in the store. I know that Best Buy was in trouble a few years ago and losing money because of poor customer service. Well, it seems that they will be in trouble again because they still have not learned their lesson.
I recently had a dismal experience with Best Buy, which has led me to leave this one-star review. When my devices malfunctioned, Best Buy didn't step up to either replace them or provide a refund. The Geek Squad member I interacted with seemed ill-equipped to handle the situation, and the overall service was nothing short of dismissive.
Approximately a year ago, I made a significant purchase, including a modem and router, with a four-year protection plan. Despite investing $450 in these products and the protection plan, I was left with no choice but to accept a $450 gift card refund after only a year. This falls far short of what a protection plan should deliver – I expected a proper refund, not just store credit. To add insult to injury, no replacements were available in any of their stores.
In summary, it's best to exercise caution when considering Best Buy and their "protection plans." They've failed to fulfill their commitments, leaving customers like me deeply unsatisfied. This unfortunate experience has shaken my loyalty to Best Buy, and I would strongly advise potential customers to be wary of their unsatisfactory service and questionable protection plans.
Company suppose to get signature for item being delivered doesn't follow it and item is missing and won't refund me after they said multiple times they would.go deal with a more reputable company.
By the time they added up the $100 radio harness, the $80 wires that made the channels change via the steering wheel, w/Sirius/XM radio receiver ($42) and with labor, my $400 radio ended up being priced to me for $800. I told them they were out of their minds and left!
Then I called Crutchfield and they actually picked up their phone! The sold me all my wiring and harnesses. They threw in all the stuff needed to mount new speakers and sold me the speakers. At BB they tried to charge me for everything they could think of. Why does BB.com insist I call the store TO DISCUSS the purchase and installation of a car stereo? But then when I call the store they refuse to answer. Do you see the wicked circle?
I ended up buying the radio and XM tuner from BB. Installation was free at BB but the speakers, discussion of installation, and all the wiring harnesses were purchased elsewhere. The Geek Squad said they liked how easily my speakers snapped in with the mounts Crutchfield gave me.
Best Buys literally loses millions yearly because they don't know how to sell their merchandise and refuse to answer their phones! I literally watched the phone ring off the hook. They simply refuse to answer the phones!
Best Buys corporate doesn't realize all the money they lose by not answering the phone. Money is calling but they are not equipped to answer. As a salesman, I can't tell you how frustrating that was to watch.
I edited and bumped it up a star because the guys in the garage were good at doing their job.
I bought washer and dryer and scheduled installation.
Due to the fact that this house undergoes renovation, the electrical outlet was not ready for the dryer. Nevertheless the washer was not connected as well, and I was told that once outlet is ready I should have no problems scheduling the service. In addition I had also prepaid for hauling my old machines away, which they also said will be done in next appointment. Once the outlet was ready I tried calling in - 5 hours! 5 hours it took me to schedule a new appointment. 5! Once I scheduled the appointment I though all will be well. But NO. Instead of coming when expected between 12-4 they came at 10 AM. I had to leave work and take unplanned PTO. When they came they pointed out that the dryer vent is missing a piece but did not say what. Then when I asked them to put the machines on an LG pedestal they refused doing it because the pedestal was not bought in best buy - but the Machines were! And they did not took my machines away - again!
Just left without saying anything. Now again 2 hours on the phone trying to get refund on lost day and unfinished service!
This "service" cost me over 300$! As I had to take PTO and call for another company to remove the machines.
Worst experience ever! Will never order from Best Buy online again for our business. Ordered a dryer for a rental property in January and the site showed it was in stock and available. The day of delivery after email confirmation of our appointment, it never shows. I call Lynn to be told it will be delivered on the seventh. It was supposed to be here between 7 AM and 1 PM. At 11:40 AM I get a call that they won't be delivering it. At this point the residents that live at this rental have taken two different days off to be home for this delivery. And now no dryer. On calling in after a very long amount of time on the phone I was told that they contacted the warehouse and assured me that it would be in town on February 11 and would be delivered for sure on Friday, February 12. Guess what. I got an email today, the 11th, that my item was no longer in stock. I called and was given multiple different excuses hung up on after what was supposedly a bad connection though they confirmed my number and never called me back, and was told that they could get me the dryer I ordered March 18. A dryer that showed online it was available when I ordered it, and then promised delivery three different times and never showed. Absolutely unacceptable business practices.
The resolution, next time I order something from Best Buy they will compensate me for my troubles. Are you kidding me. Why would I ever order from you again? Thank you Lowe's. I called they had one in stock as their website showed and they are delivering it for me tomorrow
I ordered an Apple Ipad from Best Buy as a birthday gift. Purchase date was 1/5/16 Delivery Date stated 1/12/16. This was never received. I called about 1/15/16 Best Buy said they contacted UPS and USPS and had to reship, with me on the phone waiting. They said they would resend by expedited mail. When I asked for the shipping number, they promptly hanged up. 1/21/16 Still nothing. My wife's birthday 1/21/16. I called to cancel to buy elsewhere. They said they can't cancel but that they have arranged a store pickup for me about 3000 miles away. I asked what does the law say about cancelling orders. Crystal from customer service said since you are threatening legal action I am hanging up on you. At least there is this opportunity to reach some that agree there are better things to do than take a chance and be tormented in a manner such as this and waste hours of your life to buy a $700 IPAD from such a company. We need not support behavior like this. Are you trying to avoid tremendous agitation. Think twice before ordering something from a company that may put you through this. What I did not mention are all the others I spoke to... there are many other companies that do not behave this way...
Best Buy thank you for robbing us of the experience of being able to give someone very dear a birthday gift on their birthday.
Thank you Best Buy for telling me to buy my new Samsung 75" Q70 TV from Amazon. I spent a hour and a half on the phone trying to get thru to BB just to have him say yes buy it from Amazon, we don't care that you have been a customer for 30 years. By by Best Buy.
Best Buy's website and selection leaves a lot to be desired. Every now and again they have a few decent sales. Other than that, I would go to a more customer friendly site.
This is not a complaint about a product or a particular employee. This is about institutional policies that make it so difficult to get an error corrected that it's not even worthwhile to pursue. I'm sure thousands of people each year are mistreated by Best Buy and end up abandoning their quest for resolution because it's just too frustrating and time-consuming. It's not by accident.
Best Buy processed my return and agreed to refund $390 in Reward Dollars (see attached). They only credited me $380. When I called their customer service they told me I would have to deal with the store directly. When I call the store number it re-routes to the national customer service. The customer service agent (Jon) tells me I have to physically go to the store for help. I tell him that the store is a 40 minute drive each way and would cost more in gas than the amount I was shorted. He insists there is no other person who can help - no supervisor, no manager - complete stonewall. This is a scam. When you take someone's money and make it more expensive and difficult to get it fixed than it is worth, you are basically hoping they'll give up so you can keep their money. Terrible business practice. Should be illegal. Definitely unethical. It isn't eve about the money at this point. Someone needs to stop them from running this scam.
Hi, I just wanted to warn everyone about the Daytona Beach, Florida Best Buy. I bought an item on BestBuy.com and took it right to the store after I got it to return it. First, the front end manager Ashley, who was helping the customer service line, just walked away from the customer service desk with 10 people waiting to wait on the Geek Squad line which has one person (who just got there) in line. And Ashley is a manager too, what a joke.
So then this guy named Ricky who claimed to be a "manager in computers" then helped me. I had the full order information-the order e-mails and packing slip info. Ricky said I MUST get store credit for this, which is completely wrong as BestBuy.com says you get refunded how you paid (and I have done this many times before). He refused to let me speak to a manager. I had to get back to work or I would stayed there until a real manager came. Anyways, I got refunded in full and I e-mailed every single Best Buy board member about how horrible Ricky and Ashley are in the Daytona Best Buy. Thanks for reading!
I paid for a TV and soundbar. The installation company Best Buy hired to deliver and install called me to tell me they do not know how to mount the soundbar to the TV. They cancelled my delivery a week ago and rescheduled to last Saturday. I received a text message the night before telling me they will arrive at my house between 7am to 11am. I woke up at 7am on my weekend when I normally need to sleep in to respect their time. They called me late in the afternoon to tell me they forgot to pick up parts they need from the store and they are again cancelling my delivery. I ma so sick of their excuses and incompetencies. Buyers beware!
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.

Answer: Write a genuine review for a product you buy from there, get upto $25 gift certificate
The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
