I am a fan of ASOS. I've been ordering from them since 2010. Yes, I've encountered problems from them before as my items did not reach on time as per the date promised hence, the 4 stars. Other than that, I have nothing much to complain about them and will still use their website. Thumbs up and keep up the good job Asos! X
I had multiple good experiences with ASOS until my most recent (and what will be my last) order. I returned the items from my order using the included return label and same packaging, just as I have in the past. However this time, ASOS reported they never received it. Also, hidden in their terms and conditions on some deep portion of their website, says that they recommend you receive a shipping receipt for returns because you are responsible for your items until they receive them. This is not listed anywhere readily available to the consumer, including the multiple confirmation email(s) or the step by step return instructions on the shipping label. I spoke with Hannah from customer service who literally told me there was nothing she can do. Now I am out $230 and have no clothing or anything to show for it. I will never be ordering from ASOS again and will no longer recommend them to friends and family.
The standard delivery clearly states within 4 working days.
However it took about 2-3 weeks for Asos to deliver one item to my home and now I can myself having the same problem as I have made an order three days ago and it still can not be tracked. Very disappointing!
I have been trying to get a return label - it's supposed to be a free return - and I have tried dozens of times, but each time I fill in the form it comes back with "drop off sites not found." Even though there are supposed to be over 900 of the things in New Zealand - every Post Office in fact. All my attempts to get help through the chat function have failed - I get shunted from one person to another and noone knows what to do. Just this afternoon I was on chat with one person for over 40 minutes and she gave me links which were supposed to take me to Rebound, their shipping contractor, but they only took me back to my form, still with "no drop off points found" on it. I am furious; if this isn't resolved in time I won't be able to return the clothes in time to get a refund.
I bought $300 worth of clothing from ASOS and was told I had free shipping, when it got to the post office i had to pay $100 of "transport fees". Customer service was awful they don't even have a phone number, and all the clothes were horribly quality! Huge mistake and probably the biggest waste of money I have ever had to this day.
Canadians and other international buyers, beware.
Do not order from this retailer. This is a scam. I made an order in September, it has not arrived yet and after multiple attempts to contact their customer support via email, I have been asked to wait another several weeks, and given the run around with the same generic email response 5 times. They do not employ real customer service agents and use an automatic computer generated responses instead, simply to waste your time. At this point I simply want a cancellation of my order and a refund, which they refuse to issue and have asked me to wait another several weeks. This company will not take responsibility for failing to deliver orders. Despite what it says on their website, they will not refund you and their international shipping is extremely unreliable. My order was almost $300. Do not order from this retailer, they are a scam.
I ordered two tops from here and they were perfect. I ended up having to pay a little bit more when the product arrived at my house which was a disappointment but the clothes are good quality so I was still pretty satisfied.
You can find a lot of different products here for men and women, but what I like most is the super easy return of items, and the fact that it's free. This is amazing and every online business should take it into consideration.
I ordered a pair of sneakers from the Men's side on size 11, they sent me a woman's 11 which was a men's 9.5. I put this in my review nearly word for word and they rejected it. I received three other clothing items in the wrong size but it'll cost more to send back than is worth.
My review contained none of what the accused me of.
This company is running what seems to be a shipping scam in which they promise free shipping, but unload delivery fees to the end user only at the post office. But their refund can only be initiated once the item is received (which also requires a hefty postage fee). So you have no choice. Even if you wait for the Post Office to just return the item to sender, you run out of time to meet the exchange window. Customer service representative handling the issue gave us no solutions except to go on and on about how there was an issue with this and that. So we decided to eat the cost of the fees, but we will never be shopping here ever again. This is not what a global retailer should be. Highly discourage others from shopping here.
Terrible experience I ever had with my online order. They charged me cod for my order even after paying the delivery fee. Live chat representatives didn't even tried to help me. They kept on repeating that I was charged cod for imports despite talking with canada post who clearly stated that there were no import charges on my order and the charges were requested from ASOS. Waste of time and money. Will never recommend anyone to buy from this. Worst site ever. I would give a negative rating if allowed.
I order, well, use to order, clothes and shoes all the time from ASOS. My last order was missing two jackets, over $150. Sometimes things get split, ok. Gave it a week, nothing. Customer service was no help at all. Back and forth, and now it passed the 28 days and they won't look into it, and closed my chat. I'm out $150 bucks. Like, how is that legal?
They make you believe that delivery is free over $70 of purchase but it's not true. I was charged $15.00 to pick up my package at the post office. I ordered a pair of shoes which I thought were leather, but was made out of fabric. It wasn't mentioned in the description. And to return it, I would have to pay $22.00 more. I deleted the app right away
I ordered a tux jacket for my wedding. They took my money and no jacket arrived. I found it very hard to reach customer service, who even told me that I would have to track down the parcel myself!? After 6 weeks ive now been told I'm out of luck and my wedding is this week. Do not order from this company they are a scam!
I was so scared to order from here because of all the bad reviews but im so happy i did i live in canada and my package was a few days late but when it arrived it looked awesome! I got a mens camel coat for my boyfriend spent about $150.00 on it and all his friends were like you must have spent at least $500.00 on this! The quality is great looks exactly like in the picture even the color would recommend
They cancelled my order and REFUSED to give me my money back. Instead they gave me a 15% off code to use for future purchases. Like I'd ever order something from these scam artists. I spent over 45 minutes chatting with a member of their team who refused to help in any way and said there is no way to talk on the phone with a team member or file a dispute. I've never dealt with such a worse run company
This company was not able to fulfill 75% of my order, never refunded me for that. Never received a refund for items returned either. A full month and a half later I am in the middle of a claim with them through paypal. There isn't even a phone number to call anyone, not that it would matter. I believe they are likely on the verge of failing so they are trying to steal as much consumer money as they can before they crumble.
First off shipping took 3 weeks! I received my box all destroyed & the clothes look beyond cheap, I definitely did not get what I paid for. Basically take this as advice if you don't want to get jacked. This site sucks, this will be my 1st & LAST time ever ordering off asos.
I placed an order back in January it's mid March still have not received. When try to contact them just end up in a chat that is endless as you give all details they ask for and keep being mysteriously chat disconnected!… I just want the product or money back and in and endless loophole to get either…horrible got taken for my money stay away!
Purchased an item and at checkout showed free shipping, website also advertises free shipping. Everything appeared fine as expected in processing payment. Upon picking the item up at the post office, I had to pay an unexpected COD charge that I was totally unaware of. Not impressed. Will not ever order from there again.

Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.

Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
