We went into Ashley's Barrie to specifically purchase a kitchen 4x4' table & chairs which the sales rep stating he had it in stock. When the table came in it was a 4x6' table, too big for our space. When I called the sales rep he said the table only comes in 4x6', I told him he was dishonest with us at the time of sale. Pick it up & refund me. The refund is $395.48 short of the price paid. The Manager of the store said we still had to pay for delivery & restocking charge. We believe the sales rep should pay for this as he lied to us at the time of sale. This was the first & last time we will ever enter an Ashley's Store and we believe everyone should beware of this sales tactic because we think they needed the sale therefore just told us what we wanted to hear that we can get the 4'x4'table.
I gave Ashley Furniture a poor review on a mattress we purchased from them and they're unwillingness to work with us.
Ashley quickly replied back to my poor review. They (I think it's a computer response) apologized that we're unhappy with the Purple mattress and asked that I email them at, "*******@ashleyfurniture.com"
I think the company post this statement to make it look to the "Reviewer's" like Ashley is trying to help their customer. I've been waiting over a week with, ZERO response!
I'm sure that I'll get another email with a very similar response asking me to email them so they can work something out for me! Follow up to come….
I bought a couch and a loveseat. Within two weeks of sitting in the loveseat. The one side of my loveseat started sinking. Cushion in the middle, was not properly filled, had 2 repairman out, and because of Ashley's policy, they will not replace or exchange my loveseat. 100% satisfied that Ashley advertises is false. I even bought an extended warranty and stated that if I was not completely satisfied within the 30 day period, they would take care of the problem. This is a lie. False advertisement very very disappointing. I would rather buy from badcock.
They have the worst customer service. I bought two dinning sets and was delivered un boxed or wrapped and the delivery guy was in a hurry didn't stay to go through the pieces we got but he did notice a chipped corner which he attempted to fix with a brown marker that doesn't even match the table. Called customer service to help me out they sent a tech after a week that told us one of the tables are not fixable. He left advising us that he will be sending the report to Ashley. Still waiting for their call...DONT BUY FROM THEM
I cancelled an order on January 9th and was told I would receive a refund within 5-10 business days. After 10 business days passed I called and was told that the only way they could communicate with the refund department is to file a ticket by email and they would need 48 hours to get an answer. After 48 hours I called and was told they needed 48 business hours, or a week and a day. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager (Armando) told me they needed 72 hours to get an answer but he wasn't sure. The customer service with this company is horrible. No one over the phone or chat could look into a simple refund issue without significant run around. I've spent hours on chat pursuing this because most of the time I call the customer service number my call gets dumped because my order # is no longer valid. Its very frustrating that they setup their customer service to make it as difficult as possible to provide any customer service.
I cant believe i bought my furniture paid cash spend 7 thousand cash and they still cant deliver my furniture already 50 days and cant deliver it it is my first and last time to buy furniture at ashley furniture
I recently had to use my warranty that I purchased in 2017. When I purchased the warranty the coverage was through Ashley's itself however since then they have out sourced to 5 Star. In order to file on the damage I had to file 3 separate claims. The first claim they dismissed completely claiming it was over 30 days from date of damage so no further action would be taken, 2nd and 3rd claim were later denied due to "EXCLUSIONS" which were NOT in effect when plan was purchased. This company does not honor its warranties or expensive purchased insurance. You are better off buying furniture or electronics from a reputable company and paying the extra money
I understand the time of COVID is very different but poor service is poor service. My wife and I bought a loveseat and couch JUNE 26. After 4 promise dates of delivery ending SEPT 1 and a no show I called. On hold 35 minutes I was told it was rescheduled. When? "we will call you within the hour." No call. Praying it's before the end of year.
Spent +3 grand on a couch. Arrived with one piece a different color than the rest. Over the past ~6-10 months of owning the couch, 2 of the electric recliners have broken. When the technician arrived he noted how the broken part was a huge fire hazard (good thing he came out when he did or else it could have caught fire). I have gotten 0 communication about when the replacement will arrive and after every communication (call or email) I never hear back from support. The couch quality is horrible. I would never purchase another piece of furniture from this company. The customer service is even worse than the quality of the furniture.
I received from Ashley two broken nightstands. I contacted them for the return, and they said that I was responsible for the return shipping cost. I was furious because why did I have to pay for someone's mistake? Customer service was VERY POOR, I had to email many times to Tina Kebeck (Ashley's representative) to get some answer and resolution. They returned the money and said that I can dispose of them, for which I had to order special garbage service pick up because my local service doesn't take furniture. I had a lot of headaches with them and waited almost two weeks to figure out what to do. They just sent a "headache" that I should take care of. They don't want to take responsibility for what they do. I would never order anything from Ashley again and won't recommend anybody.
Went into glendale az store worked with Darrin Linsinbardt. Purchased 4 barstools for 189.99. Got home and receipt showed 227.99. When barstools come all four of them are used with scratches and even stains. I refused them. Them im told they will receiver them twice and given 30 off each stool. I look at my receipt to get info and realize they overcharged me to begin with. Spent almost 6000.00 bucks. Sales rep tells me rudely you don't want them then don't get em. Horrible experience. I'm a decorator and will continue to use living spaces, wayfair and overstock. This place is like a used car showroom. Trust me. Don't do it. I also found the 4000 dollar sectional I bought elsewhere for 3000.00. To bad I couldn't return that. Never again.
I bought a top of the line Tempurpedic mattress at Fiesta Trails a week ago. We specifically asked about removal of the old mattress, as we live out in the country, and have no way to dispose of it. We were assured that it was no problem. Delivery day arrived, and drivers refused to take old mattress since it wasn't on their order form. After 40 minutes on line with customer service, being disconnected, and calling back, transfer to supervisor went to voicemail. Called store 3 times, and couldn't reach anyone. Left messages to get this resolved, and am waiting on return phone calls. A large home store like this has no mechanism in place to handle problems that arise? Ridiculous! Can't take payments over the phone? Come on. I've purchased many items from Ashley over the years, but never again. I have a California King mattress laying in my yard, with no way to dispose of it.
This store has the WORST customer service! I will never buy anything from this store ever again!
I purchased a counter table & 4 barstools on 7/13/20 and delivered 8/6/2020 and one of the chairs was damaged. The delivery man told us to call the store and he documented on his paperwork the damage.
We called the store several times and no one even answered. We found a website to send pix and describe the damage and never heard back from them. Finally someone answered at the store and told us there was nothing they could do just deal with the website. Which no one has even attempted to reach out to us. Seems the store sells you cheap furniture and gets your money and leaves you holding the bag so to speak.
Do not buy from Ashley Homestore. Absolute nightmare in delivery. We ordered in the store on Sept 6th, 2021. The sales rep told us with confidence there would be a delay but would arrive by end of October 2021 at the latest. Now the store is telling me it's on backorder and showing arrival at the warehouse on April 22,2022!
While there maybe supplychain issues, this 6 month delay is unacceptable on top of the 2 month waiting period they initially shared.
They should provide monetary compensation for this to drive customer loyalty instead of losing customers and future customers that may read this and realize they don't want to wait 6-8 months to enjoy something they purchased.
I bought a 7pc dining set with hutch and a sectional couch. I paid $300 for assembly of the dining set. After arguing that the assembly was for the couch! There is nothing to assemble on a couch! That finally was straightened out and now are refusing to assemble anything but the table. 4 legs for $300! Are you kidding me! They refuse to give me a refund and say that I need to cancel my order and order the table separately which will cost even more money! I'm so frustrated with the customer service of this company!
I purchased furniture to be delivered to my new home after closing. Instead, Ashley shipped them to my house I didn't even own yet. I cancelled the order and they picked the furniture up. I've called 18 times to get my refund and each time I am assured someone from their esclation department will call me back. Each time I call, I have to tell the entire story over again and often times, their customer service agents do not speak great English and struggle to understand. I would never buy from them again. I just disputed their charge with my credit card company as I'm so over this. They picked up their furniture 16 days ago and say they can't find it showing in their warehouse. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!
I went in store and purchased over $3000 worh of furniture. The day after it was delivered, I went online to look for additional pieces and noticed the things I had just purchased for $750 cheaper. When I called the store they basically told me too bad for you.
On Memorial Day, I was shopping at Ashley's for living room furniture at your West Jordan, Utah location. The service manager and sales associate, Rama Haddad, were both excellent advisors and were patient, knowledgable, and helpful in advice. My children have all purchased furniture from Ashley, and we have all been impressed with the style and well-made items we have paid for.
We had an issue with a sofa purchased several years before with a five-year warranty. Warranty company failed to repair issue and then denied further attempts at resolution (We were told Ashley no longer offers warranties with this company.) Lisa Garcia-Manor and Nate Henderson at the Snellville, GA store where we purchased the sofa stepped in and took over our problem. After examining the sofa, they had a brand new sofa delivered to our home free of charge. They were both so very helpful and professional throughout the entire process! Will DEFINITELY shop here again! Thank you, Lisa and Nate!
I have a dining room table top that has developed a bubble on it. After sending pictures & then Ashley sending someone out to take pictures we got a call from Ashley. We were told the top is not a part they can get as a "part" so the best we can do is give you some money back on the purchase. I'm sorry but my table is under warranty so replace the table! We were told they would have to check with management to see if this can be done! I had always done all furniture shopping at Raymour & Flanigan... now I know why! If Ashley does not stand by their warranty & replace my table you can bet you will see this review all over social media.
Answer: It's a business and a scam. Zero customer service. Once they've used your credit card, it takes hours on the phone to arrange return and credit.
Answer: I attempted calls with no answer 3 days I emailed 3 times no response. I wrote letter to store manager and it was ignored.
Answer: The advertisement hype, even when on hold they continue with the hype as if that were th best. HA HA!
