Bought over $7000 worth and got the extended warranty. Sales told us they cover anything. Then we have issues and 1st fix they took our table to shop and fixed it. Same issue arises and they say they should never have fixed it? Refused to help. So our $600 for warranty was bull. Never ever shop here. Should have stuck with the brick as they at least stick to their warranty.
On January 18,2021, I contacted the warranty for a Broken Recliner that would not recline. They responded by saying "You are in our system and will not be forgotten, and we will get to you as quickly as we can. In the meantime, thank you for your patience as we work our way through this highly unusual situation." It is now March 7,2021, two months later and I have still not heard from Ashley Furniture, meanwhile they keep mailing me notices about sales. Why would I buy from them now?
Update! It is now January 10,2022 and I still have not heard from Ashley Furniture.
You place an order, they promise a time frame for delivery. Then they lie and don't deliver. Keep getting calls, texts promising delivery but I still don't have a delivery date. Call them and they were honest and said it is out of stock and don't have any idea when it will be in stock. Also, they have tied up 2k on my credit card with a pending charge.
Barstools was in my home for 2 weeks when two of them broke because they was put together wrong. Ashley furniture sent someone out to look at product and they ordered parts. Sent someone else out to fix them and they sent out wrong parts. My child was hurt when they broke. They still are broken and I'm still trying to get it resolved after a month later. So much for their warranty
My first time shopping at this store the guy that helped me place my order was amazing no complaint! My complaint is when I was told by customer service that my order would be here by a certain date and it was not. Then I called them and they said they don't know what happens the driver didn't have the information. So I called back again they told me it will be delivered by May 18th expedited and told me they will note the account. Well guess what I don't have any furniture. I called today and spoke with a manager at the store and she basically gave me different information again regarding my order and basically down played what I was saying like it was not important. I paid cash for my order and do understand things happen, but customer service was awful and how this situation was handled I will not shop with you guys again!
I recently ordered two beds and six dressers/chest of drawers for my grandsons. The delivery was prompt to the local warehouse, that wasn't a problem at all.The problem was that everything was in boxes! NOTHING was assembled. I have bought from Ashley before and it was an enjoyable experience. After having to assemble six dressers, I will Never shop with Ashley again. If I wanted to assemble furniture I would have went with Ikea or Wal Mart.
I bought furniture from Ashley Furniture. I waited 3 months on delivery. Everything on the truck was damaged. The warehouse had packed up a truck load of damage furniture and tried to deliver it to my home. As they were unwrapping the furniture, the damages were more than obvious. I had to reject 2 bedroom sets, table, dining chairs, and buffet server. Then, it took 6 additional months to get my refund. Please be aware that the furniture isn't the same quality. Everything is being shipped from elsewhere and not US made. I have a bedroom set made of marble from Ashley furniture that is almost 20yrs. It's made of high quality and still looks brand new. However, their quality standards now have changed tremendously, please take that in consideration when making a purchase.
I would like to thank Mr Darren Wilson in particular for his sharp thinking and communication skills... He was actually so in tune with what exactly it was I had envisioned that he helped us to make the best decision we could have made. Mr Wilson asked us about how much sq. Footage we had to work with and what sort of theme we was going with and he made a suggestion to us. We love the new look and we both want to say thank you Mr Wilson
This place is horrible, furniture is broken all the time and the third party insurance/warrenty is a waste of money they dont back to you!. Never again! Dont buy from here I wish I would've read reviews before
Customer service is a joke, and they gave us the runaround on trying to return an item. They refused to let us return what we purchased. We talked to eight different customer service representatives and they all told us to leave our purchase outside and a FedEx man would come and pick it up. We called back multiple times they told us the FedEx man already picked it up. If you need to return something, you will go through hell and you will never succeed in returning your purchased item.
We received two end tables (T150-3) from the warehouse in St. Louis. The tables were supposed to be New In the Box (NIB). One table appeared that way, only to find out there was a side piece that was cracked (labeled "E"). The second table was obviously a return, with massive amounts of tape to close the box. When opened, it was evident this table had been previously assembled. The table was partially assembled with parts missing. Efforts to work with the Customer Service Department, so far, have been to no avail. In the past 9 days I've talked to 7 different people. Each time the call drops after 15 minutes or so. I've sent 15 pictures of the damage to 4 different email addresses, to find out that maybe 4 have been posted to my Service Ticket. BUYER BEWARE! I won't be doing business with Ashley Furniture in the future.
My husband and I bought a new couch and chairs, and they were delivered on Dec 6th. I showed the delivery person the damage on the couch, and he said he would make a note and have someone call me within a week. Of course, we heard nothing. I have called the store several times and always have to talk to someone in CS. Which has gotten us nowhere. We have 8 tickets out and still have not received a call from GRT. They wanted pictures but did leave on the message how to get the pictures to them. I've been to the store 3 times now. The girl at the customer service desk has been very helpful, but we still haven't heard anything about them trying to fix or replace our couch.
We are very disappointed in this customer service.
The Ashley staff and management COULD have been dismissive of my husband and I when we were given a previously used item. Instead... we were treated with respect and rapid responses. As I write this we are having a delivery to replace the incorrect item and have found the delivery and employees to be exemplary, on time and diligent. I'm sure some customers my not wish to speak of their experience, but I want anyone considering a purchase in this store to feel assured that they are in competent hands, both on the floor and also at the front desk. We were in awe of the truly great treatment from everyone.
Thank you ALL,
Rich and Paula Zinn

So many great companies have closed down, how is it this horrendously operated company still has their doors open? Dealing with this company has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever, EVER, encountered. Post-sale communications are abysmal, operations procedures are atrocious, the supply chain management is inept, and the customer service is pitiful with absolutely no desire to service a customer. The marketing, however? Truly prize worthy.
I've just canceled my several thousand dollar order, and have urged a family member, with a larger order amount than ours, to do the same. Even with great marketing, I am amazed they are still an operating business. What a waste of our time.
I'm tellin' ya, do yourself a HUUUUUUUGE favor and don't believe anything at all the sales people tell you (because they've been fed the crap as well), and go anywhere else to buy anything.
Dining set delivered yesterday and notice that chairs rock back and forth due to having uneven legs. One leg is shorter than the other a 3 of 6 chairs. Immediately contacted Ashely furniture in which I was informed that after delivery, I have to go throught proper procedure to have 3rd party tech come to adjust. How do you adjust wooden chair legs? Technician schedule was unavailable as of today. Need to wait as Ashley will not stand behind products until technician reviews. Table top has a quarter size spot where stain is missing.
Honestly I wouldn't even give them a star, we ordered our couch in June. They told us 4-8 weeks which is fine, if that would be true. Then they told us august 5 and guess what…nobody even called or messaged us till we called them and asked where the couch was. Then they escalated it to the manager and gave us new dates, that they missed again. After that they called us and said September 9th. We already planned a vacation on that day so we gave them number of our friend who will be at our place waiting for the couch. The day comes they never called our friend to deliver the couch. Now all of the sudden the couch is gone and they have to make a new one. They are throwing us different dates and talking about November, then December and it keeps changing. Please think twice before ordering from them. We might need to take them to court. It's been 4 months and we still sit on the floor.
I bought a small bedroom night stand and asked if I could pick it up when it became available and was told it would come out of South Carolina and it would have to be delivered. It did come in sooner than expected and it was in great shape and yes the guy that delivered it was a nice guy but... it came out of the Concord Store and I could have picked it up and saved the $79. Why did they find a need to lie and loose a customer I don't know. They sure lost any repeat business that i might have sent their way.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had concerning a large purchase. NO ONE answers phone calls - my order was scheduled for delivery on July 24 and I tried for three days to confirm delivery date by phone. Finally went back to the store only to find out delivery date had been changed to August 10. Ultimately canceled order and got refunded.
Beware! Don't not do business with Ashley furniture!
The sales team is instructed to be sweet helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell, and to sell the most expensive items. But once you have problems with the item, they give you the runaround and become offensive mean unprofessional and compulsive liars; until your trial or warranty time frame expires. The gangster looking manager was super unprofessional to begin with in the McAllen Tx. Store! After no luck calling, texting the sales person, you are just left calling several customer service numbers you had to look up, and no one knows anything and can't help. At the end of the day you just got stuck with a $5000 Matress and major body aches. Save yourself some time and money go get your furniture or Matress at a local costo or sans club ( purposely spelled wrong) and pay a fraction of a cost!
Answer: It's a business and a scam. Zero customer service. Once they've used your credit card, it takes hours on the phone to arrange return and credit.
Answer: I attempted calls with no answer 3 days I emailed 3 times no response. I wrote letter to store manager and it was ignored.
Answer: The advertisement hype, even when on hold they continue with the hype as if that were th best. HA HA!
