The most important thing to remember when purchasing furniture from Ashley is that as soon as you hand them your check or credit card, you have no recourse and they will not work with you to find a solution to any problems you might have with your purchase. No refunds, no recourse, no response from the company. I purchased a sleeper sofa that is really just a piece of junk. No satisfaction. They just keep repeating "no refunds". I asked for an exchange and they said they only thing they can do is order the exact same couch that I already have. It's only been in my living room for 11 months and nine of those months we weren't even in the house. I'm 67 years old and I'm not jumping on the couch but it looks like it is 20 years old and creaks every time in sit on it. I feel kind of bad that I donated it to charity. My suggestion is to spend just a little bit more and buy a beautiful couch made in America by JOYBIRD. They back their products unconditionally.
We asked for a deduction on prices, the manager said okay. But when we are trying to pick our purchase, the man followed us and kept telling us he's in a hurry to a party, if we want a discount we can only find him because he is a manager. What does that suppose to mean? After he rushed us for a purchase we are making a payment. He placed all the stuff we wanted and came to a price of 3600 dollars. We made a calculation on our own and he didn't gave any discount he promised along the way. His attitude were unbelievable and he said "so are you buying this or not? If not then bye." Ahahaha this is the worst store I've seen with low quality service and lying MANAGER. We left at the end didn't purchase anything and told everyone we will never visit again.
I ordered a new bed over six weeks ago and all I received was one confirmation email with a sales order number. When ordering online they do not tell you that you were going to wait 8 to 14 weeks for your order. I finally canceled my order after seven weeks and nobody at their company could tell me where my new bed was. I left messages for the local store and called their toll-free numbers as well as their corporate office. Not one single person could help me.
I purchased my items from the clearance outlet back in May. I was promised my items by June 16. Lie number 1. When I called about my items they said they had not arrived and gave me a another date that wasn't accurate. I called customer care and I kept getting the same response "your items will arrive tomorrow " never came. Finally they arrived three months later and it was the wrong table and chairs. Called customer care because and was placed on hold twice and transferred to the HR department. No answer and no fix to this problem. This by far has been the absolute worse experience and best believe I will make it my mission to deter people from ever buying anything from this company. The worse customer service, horrible instore treatment and no response back when an error has occurred. I have been patient and now I'm highly pissed off and disappointed. Does this look gray to you... I think not.
We ordered some furniture it came after 2 months and it came with missing a lot of pieces, we called they ordered for us the pieces they say it will take more than 10 days after 10 days i call to see about my order nobody answer nobody know what i talk about. I will never buy anything from them ever.
I bought bedroom set and dining room set, bedroom set has never been used, Bed and dresser has cracks, called to customer service, they said nothing will be done since it has been more than 6 months since delivery, spoke to manager at store, manager stated item has manufacturer's warranty and if manufacturer will do nothing, they cannot do anything.
Terrible quality and you cannot change your review on their site after a few months. Poor quality cushions and couch, which only held up a couple of months before cushions started sagging. No wire/spring structure for support. I got the Tibbee and I learned that you get what you pay for. Never again. A year or so later and I'm back to couch shopping.
I worked with Kyle at the Middletown NY store he was fabulous! I recommend that you seek him out if you visit this store. Five stars! We were greeted promptly. Our needs were assessed and Kyle showed us numerous options. There was no high pressure tactics. Work with this guy!
I purchased a sectional sofa. The cushions were not very firm. I also purchased the insurance as well. After one year the sofa cushions look very saggy and worn. I contacted the store. My claim to have the cushions replaced was denied. First of all no one gave me a copy of the insurance plan so I would know the guidelines. Apparently I should have reported it within 7 days of noticing the cushions sag. I should have sent the defective sectional back upon delivery. The cushions that I sat on at the store were firm and this was why I purchased this particular sectional. I feel like this was a bait and switch. I will never purchase anything else from Ashley's. It's very disappointing that you operate your store this way. I paid a considerable amount of money for this couch and it should last longer than a year. Poor quality and poor customer service.
To pick up a small item, I had to drive to a distribution warehouse out in the country 35 km away from the store in the city. I had to wait in the cold outside a garage door. They could see me, but they didn't help me until I rang a doorbell right in front of them! The security was crazy, they did not accept my phone number + order number + government ID + order displayed on my phone! They demanded my home address! Never again.
Purchased bed and a living set 2 weeks ago was scheduled to be delivered today only to follow up to be told oooo it's going to be another 4 -8 weeks, no communication what so ever not even a courtesy call at all if I would not followed ilup. I would of never new... tha k you but no thank you I will be requiring a full refund
Bought furniture from Ashley furniture a year ago in February, didn't even get the set until late May, double recliners on couch broke down by November, and waiting on parts now for over 2 months...customer service keeps sending me in a circle...Do Not Purchase from Ashley Furniture, horrible customer service, and not impressed with quality of furniture! We are sitting on the oversized chair for 1,790.00 balance owed on this poor quality furniture, and horrible service to rectify issue. Shame on you Ashley Furniture!
This is by far the worst business I have ever bought furniture from. They lied and said they had all three pieces I paid for. First delivery date they were a no call no show. When I called they rescheduled it for 5 days later. Delivery date they only delivered 2 of 3 pieces. Called them they said it would probably be March 2022 before I got it. Called corporate. They assured me I would have it by Dec 1. Still nothing. Called them again. They said another month. They are saying a month for a refund. It sure did not take them 5 minutes to take my money. Will never buy from them again. When they tell you they have it don't believe them.
My wife order a product, and cancel it before delivery, they refused too cancel and refuse to send a return lable for a refund. I have talked to several people there and was just told that they will look into it get back, well they haven't gotten back, and I'm stuck with a table I don't need and out of $160.00. I purchased a bed, mattress, and 2 nightstands. I paid for delivery which was to include the old mattress being taken away. The nightstands were to come in a month. The bed was delivered with a large stain. The delivery people refused to take the old mattress. It took more than a month to get a new bed. The nightstands arrived today, 9 months later, yes 8 MONTHS LATE, and there is a chip in the front that has been glued back on. Unbelievably bad customer service. Reglued furniture. Stained furniture. The furniture simply doesn't arrive. Spent around $7,000 and they do not care.
The salesman told me that his manager told him Ashley sells their furniture to Macys!
Do not LIE! Everything he said was put into question. He never even asked us to purchase. I'll never shop Ashley anywhere ever again.

Order / delivery came quickly. Then the problem. Floor damaged when delivery people put the couch on the floor and damaged it.
Delivery man took pictures and said they will report it and someone will call. No one called. Called at least 15 times on the first 6 months and was told I reported it to late. No coverage.

I purchased furniture from Ashley's two yrs ago with a warranty. My kitchen tabled has bubbles on it and they will not replace it. Their saying that I spilled liquids on it; therefore, it's not covered. I have not spilled any thing on my table, it's been covered since I purchase the set. Im not sure what is going on but they should honor my warranty.
On behalf of my 80 year old parents, I had purchased a Kitchen Table set for them on line. All pieces had to be assembled. The set was received on Thursday afternoon and we had arranged to have it assembled on the Sunday. The table was received with a nice size chunk missing. I had contacted Ashley to see about returning it all and was directed to send a text with pictures of the damaged table. The CSR's are all well trained to avoid dealing with customers and problem resolutions. They all do the same thing and send snapshots of the 48 hour policy which is the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of. If they want customers to honour this 48 hour policy then maybe they should send all furniture already assembled. Moving forward any furniture that we will be purchasing online will be purchased through Wayfair. They may be a little bit more expensive but they have the best return policy.
I have shopped at Ashley furniture several times and the service has been horrid. I bought a mattress from them and in the first month it began to sag. I have back problems and the mattress is unsatisfactory. I called headquarters many times, and nobody would help me exchange the mattress. My back problems have been getting worse. Keep in mind I payed $800 for this mattress. I went to the store to return it and they asked me if I had a warranty. I said no, because I have bought one before and it protected nothing. They said they could do nothing even when I said I didn't want any money, I only wanted to change the mattress for another. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture. Their products are below average quality and their service is awful.
