I tried submitting a review of my bad experience which I had rated a 1 star. It never came across, even though it says submitted a review, I even tried resubmitting it even and it says I have already reviewed that product. I even went on the laptop not logged in to see if my review came across. Nope. A lot of things on there have really good reviews, which is obviously very misleading based off these reviews on sitejabber and the fact that THEY DON'T PUBLICLY SHOW BAD REVIEWS JUST TO KEEP THEIR REPUTATION.
I ordered Brake pads and rotors. The brake pads were such bad quality, they broke the retraction springs right outta the box. For something as important as brake systems, they have really bad quality. They refused to compensate me for the labor charges I had to pay which costed more than the kit. They asked me to ship the thing back, but I lost the little spring and now I have to buy a whole new set.
Horrible product and horrible customer service.
I spend alot of money at American muscle.com. I buy everything for my mustang there. I ordered an expensive hood from them February10. Got lost in the mail. Second one I order I received April 23. Second one was damaged. Not by the freight carrier. It was a $#*!ty mold. Be careful buying hoods from them.
Someone, (I'm not gonna mention any names bcus Steve Voudouris will get butthurt) needs to pull there head out of their $#*! and start doing good by these pissed off customers.

Ordered an 04 car crawl... Didn't tell us that they would have to order it 6 weeks later I call... For a refund they say okay. Told us some story about they didn't take any money because it was a standby order. But yet send an email saying that the money would be returned... I'm confused I can't tell if I got ripped off twice by not getting apart or not getting my money back too so now I have to call to the bank about some order that was two months ago. End of the day just go C. J... auto. Parts got my part in two days...
I ordered a spec clutch for my car paid the 2 day shipping cost. 2 days later bbk headers showed up to my house for a 2011 to 2014 mustang 5.0 I own a 2017 5.0. I called customer service to report the issue the gentleman was very apologetic. And said he would transfer me to sales to see if they can ship me a equal or better clutch since the one I researched and ordered is now on back order with no eta. The young lady I spoke with looked up other clutches none of them was what I needed and the ones close enough required me to purchase a new flywheel. I asked for a complete refund I was told I would have to ship the headers I didn't order back and it would take up to 10 days for my refund. I have spent thousands with this company between all the mustangs I have owned through out the years. They don't appreciate loyalty so I'm forced to write this review and end my relationship with American muscle.
I've spent literally thousands of dollars on products from American Muscle over the years. Unless it's a major name brand, all their in-house stuff is nothing but cheap junk that's made in China and then resold here in America at outrageous prices. Not to mention their customer service is a joke. The prices in their "install" videos don't match what's on the website (more expensive) and they are not willing to offer discounts for false advertising. Oh and by the way NOBODY CARES about how "cool" you make your mustang look.
Received parts (Again) It was the wrong part (Again). I called them and they sent me a return label. I dropped it off (Again). I was told it would be 10 business before I would receive. Still nothing. I called them (Again). The guy kept telling he was sorry but nobody put return ticket in and it would be another 10 business days before I get my refund. I've been doing business with them for years but they have really fallen off. They keep blaming the covid-19 for their bad service and delays
Had to sell my project to pay bills. Could not return part cause it was after 30 days, even offered to pay a restock fee. Answer was still NO... Cj pony and lmr both took back parts they understood money is tight at this time and where very helpful. I will never buy anything at am. muscle again!
3 months ago I ordered a set of smoked headlights and they sent the wrong lights (clear)lights nothing like i ordered, so I sent them back like they requested for the exchange, I was told once I do that I would receive the right ones within 5 business days, never happen! I've made several calls with customer service lieing to me over and over again with the item not being shipped yet!, i will never buy anything from them again, and if you know better you shouldn't either!
They suck first off i order shocks for my car they sent one right one and the other one was wrong called got the right one ordered in took 4 days to get here and then went to put it on a week later cause I was busy and they sent the wrong hard ware and old hard ware won't work worst company I have ordered from never going to order again from them

I purchased brake rotors for my mustang on Sunday not realizing I ordered the wrong ones. So, the next day I call and they assure me that my order will be canceled and I should see an email within 24-48 hours in regards to the cancellation.
Well, 2 weeks later and these $#*! are still trying to tell me that the vendor still hasn't processed the cancellation. Even though I've called multiple times and your representatives assured me that I should be receiving that email by the end of the day.
2 weeks passed by and I still don't have a refund, still never received a cancellation email, oh and guess what! I ordered the parts I actually wanted on amazon and they got here within 3 days and my car is all done! Y'all suck straight up ima make sure I never do business with y'all and ima Make sure to spread the word and inform people to stay away
THIS COMPANY LITERALLY STEALS YOUR MONEY. I ordered front and rear power stop evolution 3 rotors and pads and it has been three weeks and I still haven't received any package, any update, or email from the company as to where my package is. The front grille and headlight package that I ordered has yet to have been shipped out because despite the fact that when I ordered the package it said it was in stock, for the past three weeks I have been receiving emails saying "oops!" and that yet again the package is out of stock and I have to wait until it is back in stock to be shipped out and then when the date that I was told the item will be back in stock comes around, I get another email saying "oops" yet amidst all this they have already pocketed the 450$ I have already paid and there has been not a hint of an apology for this absolute mess, a hint of giving a refund, or without me prying at them and constantly bugging them any hope that I will ever receive my package and from the previous reviews written, it seems like I'll be doing the same exact thing if not worse to try and get my money back. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!
I did one of their promos where if you spent 200.00 or more you would get a 50.00 coupon on your next purchase of 300.00 which I planned on using, instead I got an email stating Use below code at checkout starting on 5/3/20:

Quick update, after I filed a complaint with BBB and the FTC I did get my 50.00 back, so it pays off to take action, be safe.
I was so excited to fix up my Mustange! Purchased rims and tires and there is a blemish on one of them I called American Muscle in hopes there would be a resolution! They told me that they would not be able to replace it but I could take it to a chrome shop to get an estimate and they MIGHT be able to help, no guarantees! I also ordered louvers and waited for over a month, when I called they told me that they had been discontinued. Customer service is good only when you make a purchase!
I placed an order with these bozos and twice they sent me out the wrong item. And now that I have complained and told them how useless they are, they have red flagged my account. I was told that they no longer wish to do business with me. These people only care about themselves, not the customers. And Dan Harmon, who is a upper management supervisor, well, he will just lie right straight to your face. I would avoid doing any business with this company.
1) I decided to buy a wheel and tire kit from AM last year. I placed an order that was not shipped for 2 weeks. I called them to ask what was happening they said that the tires are out of stock, so I thought ok, that makes sense for the wait time. I call 2 weeks later to check up on it, they said that they have the tires, they are just waiting to get it to their Vegas warehouse. Another week goes by, nothing. I call again and this time had to speak with the supervisor who told me that the tires are out of stock and that they are waiting for Mickey Thompson to manufacture more tires and send them in. This misinformation between representatives left me hanging without tires/wheels for 2 months.
2) In late 2017, I bought a clutch kit and all the necessary piece for my 2014 Mustang GT. American Muscle's website said everything will fit properly in my car. Here I am, a year and a half down the road, my car is having issues shifting so I unfortunately had to take it to a shop. The shop told me that the hydraulic throwout bearing that I bought is not supposed to be in my car and that it is THE WRONG PART. I call AM to see if they're willing to help a loyal customer out with the misinformation that AM has provided me and all the representative said is that the order is too old for them to do anything. 2nd major issue that I've had with AM over the last year which is unfortunate, I thought they were the best place to go for anything Mustang.
I purchased a set of wheels with tires on them (Michelin pilot super sports) and they sent me 2 of the wrong tires on my 2 front wheels, i called them for them to fix it with me willing to return the other tires that i never purchased, and they said it was out of stock, so it would take 2-3 weeks for them to ship which is awesome. I call back 1 month later with no tires and they tell me they arnt sending me any tires. After they sent me a return label for the wrong tires and a order confirmation for the right tires. Dont purchase from them unless you want a headache.
I ordered a set of brakes and rotors from American Muscle in early April 2019. I received 1 of 2 boxes on time. I've made several attempts to get a resolve and receive the other half of my order that shows in their system that it never left the warehouse. I have been given the runaround over numerous phone calls and can get neither the rest of my package or a refund because "the supervisors are unavailable". I have given my number for a call-back that I "will receive within 24 hours" twice. I don't understand why this process is so complicated but I know I will never again shop American Muscle for my Mustang wants/needs.
