When I first heard about paying to have Amazon prime I scoffed at that. I am a deal hunter by nature and added fees sounded ridiculously unnecessary. I got a student discount though and was able to try it at half price. I have to say I use it ALL the time. I love the 2-day shipping (usually makes it), the easy and often free returns, the television and movies to watch, the music to listen to, the early sale access, and the customer service is top notch. A few times I had a complaint they squared me away in minutes. I even had an item break shortly after I received it and they took it back no questions asked. They refund you as soon as you ship the item back as well. I know there is more they offer. I feel that it makes this a good deal esp if you are always purchasing items online. If you bought a music subscription service or tv/movie service it would also easily cost as much or more than this alone.

Always can depend on 2 day shipping being 2 days. Dont hesitate because shipping is free with prime. The one time they DID screw up they bent over backwards to make it right. Didnt receive an item I NEEDED on time. They sent it out again- at no charge- and refunded my $ for the first shipment without me even asking. Turns out the USPS delivered the item to the house across the street by mistake. When I told amazon, they told me to just keep it. Rare to find customer service that is so eager to please their customer. They are my go to app for just about everything.

I have a Walmart in my town and that's about it. So when ever I need anything and no time to drive 2 hours to the city I go to Amazon. With Amazon Prime I get it in two days. You just can't beat it. We started our account when building a house as we knew we would need a lot of items that are overpriced in town. It has been 3 years and I have not canceled my membership. It is well worth the yearly fee. Also we get to watch the free prime movies. If they were a bit better with categorizing so you could browse easier we would use them more than Netflix. Currently unless I know the show I want to watch I head over to Netflix instead.

I ordered a JACKERY SOLAR PANEL $699.00 with a $140 Coupon & They sent me a Superjare Gaming table 7933BC $99.99 instead. UPS picked it back up, I was given the tracking stub. Amazon received it back, and they want me to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a credit when it specifically stated that when they received my Item back, I would be issued my credit back to my card. They made a huge error and now want me to wait 3 to 4 weeks for my money. Bad policy. Disputed this with Discover and JACKERY was also notified of their handling of this. Never again!

When they don't deliver your package (15-20% of the time) you have to wait 3 days to get a reorder or refund. It takes a while to get through to a representative. After that it's no problem getting a refund, harder to get a reorder & I have never heard of them doing an investigation meaning the cost of all the lost items is simply being passed on to us.

I still have Amazon Prime because I obtained a free half year upon entering college, then didn't realize that it didn't expire after this period and started to charge me.
Normally I'd be upset by this because I'm paying for a service I don't want, but in this case, Amazon Prime proved to be so useful I just kept paying for it after I finally realized it was charging me haha
My membership costs about $40, and within the course of it, it usually pays itself off. Between my parents ordering electronics, my brother getting books and me ordering whatever I feel like, we use a lot of free shipping. The reliability and speed are so nice, because if you order from Prime, you never have to worry about the quality. What you pay for is what is promised. If it's cheap, it's cheap. If you paid more, it's usually good.
Sometimes it even gives cool discounts. I got my hard drive half off, shaving off $50, paying off the price of the membership immediately.

Only complaint being my additional $50 gift card has yet to be processed the one I exchanged seconds prior to the $15 one I'm leaving the review for. Other than that I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity and for coming in clutch with the Amazon fresh when we were hungry hungry.

Great choice of films & tv programmes to watch and great quality too.
Also, ordered from amazon and received next day delivery with Prime - amazing service. Ordered on a Sunday evening and the item arrived on the Monday morning.

I open the plastic bag went to place the black 209 xl in my printer, removed the safety and covered my hand, into my HP printer and on the tile in office. I called Amazon where sorry there is nothing Amazon will. Can,t get ink off my hands, I have replace my printer and get on my hands and knees and hopefully can get the black ink off the tile.thinking of returning my chase prime card, checking out Walmart,Sam's club and ebay. Poor business Amazon, everyone beware something goes wrong there not professional enough cover damages from there products

AmazonPrime is a great service for us. Free two day shipping on all items sold or fulfilled by Amazon, we even get same day delivery for some select items if we order early in the day. Plus, we only need one subscription for our household.

Besides the shipping services, Prime Subscription also gives us access to Amazon Video & Amazon Music. In addition, we also get access to PrimeNow with deliveries times of 1 or 2 hours as well as restaurant deliveries.

Highly recommended!

We live outside the city core but Amazon is still able to deliver everything we need within 2 days or less. Couldn't live without this service and would be willing to pay double if we needed to. Worth every penny.
