Great service, prices, selection and customer service should you ever need it.
Amazon is really great place to but whatever you want but I go there to buy books! You want brand new books? You can find them! If you don't care about the physical appearance you can buy used ones. The great feature that I like is that you're able to sell stuff as well.
I have patronized Amazon for at least ten years and have nothing but accolades for them. If I ever had any problems with an order, they addressed right away and always made it a smooth and correct transaction. I will continue to utilize Amazon, for sure.
The shipping is great and their return policy is equaly great i got a fragile item it came broken and they replaced it so fast, thank you/.
Amazon itself a big brand I cant say anything against amazon product and their services they are master at what they are providing
They keep you informed about businesses in your area that you may want to utilize. This is great the info is u t d (up to date), concise, and valid. There is a problem though. Most of the time I'm, not in the market, for the business that they are keeping me informed about. Result: An unending slew of unsolicited e mails about businesses in my area that I am mostly, not in the market for, when I receive their e mail. If they could stay in touch with you quarterly, send a brief questionnaire about what you might be looking for, in the next few months, travel, tires, electronics. The constant receipt of e mails ruins the experience. Lighten up Amazon, I know you're there and a lot of local business are affiliated. I'll let you know when I need them, or give me a chance to let you know what I'm looking for, just don't bomb me with ads about local merchants. It ruins the experience.
It is much more expensive than other sites. Walmart always beat Amazon price for the same items.
PROS;
Great customer service, whatever you order.
Good prices overall.
Great deals!
Tons of variety and choices.
Wonderful shipping prices.
CONS;
Quality varies a lot, depending what seller you order from.
Descriptions of items are sometimes lacking.
You have to be willing to look through A LOT of items to find what you're looking for.
Shipping sometimes takes a VERY long time. Months, even.
Although is has a couple of problems because of various sellers, amazon is over-all a great site and one of my favorites to buy from.
If you try to call and get information from them you get the run around. Yes those who are at help desk answer your questions the best they can which isn't much, I believe they have a script to use. If you send a complaint by email all you ever get is a robot answer telling you to go to such and such url and read their rules and regulations. They will never answer the questions that you ask, it's always go here or go there, never have they answered my questions about deleting my reviews, other than saying they were manipulative but never showing or even giving me a chance to correct anything, I've read and heard others say the same thing. I believe they say someone is breaking their rules so they won't have to refund ones money back when or if you cancel your prime, they are cheats.
Unless you're one of the 1% that unluckily gets a dodgy seller that somehow snuck onto amazon I'm pretty confident you will get what u want when you want.
Beautiful and happy bride! No the dress want exactly like the pictures of the $25,000 dress that I wanted but they did an amazing job for the $350 that I did spend! Came in a small bag but OMG I am still in awe. Photos taken July 25,2015 and these are not from the photographer so there's no photo shop
Amazon has truly amazing customer service! Order from this site many times a year, if there is ever a problem with my order, no matter the seller, it is fixed in record time! Absolutely zero hassle or run-around!
I buy via Amazon about 3 times a month... I find them very good to compare similar products of what you are looking for, and narrow down a buying decision. I stay away from items that have a high chance of needing to be returned, so I do my research first to avoid the return-process.
I also try to stick to products that Amazon themselves ships, so I have more predictability on how long it will take.
Up to now, have only returned one item out of many purchased... good track record for Amazon... return-process was smooth, but rather avoid it.
One of my few complaints about this site, is that many products are not displayed-photographed properly nor extensively, so often it's hard to see as much as I want to see; the whole idea of buying online is to be able to visualize what we are buying as best as possible, since we are not at a store actually seeing-feeling the product. Amazon could make the website more visually appealing and have their vendors improve the product representation in photos.
Another minor issue, is that the first thing I want to see from a vendor, other than feedback, is where do they ship from?( When not shipped from Amazon)... Amazon gives you the info, but not to handy (you have to dig for it).
Conclusion: I usually use Amazon for specific products that I've pre-decided I need and know something about (usually I check Ebay as well to compare)... I don't wander around just looking at products for shopping-fun, but rather chase specific product-needs I have determined (example: I need a spare camera battery for my Nikon: I go to Amazon first, and cross-check with Ebay prices. Eight out of 10 times I find Amazon offers better choices & service, and a simpler return-process if needed...
Example of an Amazon typical purchase of mine: camera lens... Best Buy has it at store for significantly more than Amazon... Ebay has a similar price but a vendor with feedback I don't care for... Amazon has it at a competitive price, and shipped-handled by Amazon: I buy it from Amazon.
Good site if you know what you want.
When ever I feel the need to shop Amazon is one of the places I will go for great deals that do not cost a lot. I always suf the web looking for awesome deals.
I fount this site is cool actually in my opinion they can improve their services but apart from criticism they are best at what they are providing
My name is Kay and I'm a amazonaholic. It felt great to finally admit that.
I know amazon gets a bad rap for how its been reported they treat their employees, but amazon is excellent from the consumer side. It seems automatic with me that if I want to buy an item I check amazon first and everywhere else after. That's what you want as a business customers to seeks you out first and to keep coming back and that's what makes amazon great for me.
I've shopped with amazon since 2008 and I've had a total of 3 problems and I remember them simply because they where so few and far between. Also every single one one my issues was resolved within hours.
I joined Prime March 2015 and the Free 2 Day shipping makes the entire annual fee worth it especially with how much I purchase from amazon and as long as I continue purchasing from amazon I will be a Prime member.
To me amazon it excellent for consumers in everywhere. They're always finding new avenues, using feedback to improve your shopping experiences and you have choices across the board from video streaming to food stuff. I just want them to keep getting better as I'll be a happier customer.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
