I ordered many products on Amazon and products came in quite decent and intact; however, it does takes a while for certain products to arrived. Perhaps some of them came from another country.
I have shopped Amazon many times and have always been happy with it. I also sometimes have to rely on online shopping like Amazon because I am still recovering from cancer, and am not always able to jump in the car and drive a half hour to a major chain store to get what I need. So when I tried the new Prime Pantry I had high expectations of what it's quality would be, and was hopeful in it being a good resource for me. I ordered items that were canned and items in boxes, that I would normally buy in the grocery store, and thought I was getting a deal with such a decent price, but when I received my box of items I was really disappointed. First of all, the cans were almost all dented. Not normally a big deal, but there was never any mention of denting on the site, and Amazon is usually particular about making an honest accounting of the condition of items. The cans were packed loosely into the box with the boxes of food and pasta so they caused plenty of damage while getting bounced around by the postal service. The shipping box was split into 2 sides, but the cans were scattered so there were several on both sides so NONE of the boxed food was safe from damage. Some items were so damaged that they were leaking, and had to be thrown out. Since the service, Prime Pantry, shows you how full a box is when you are ordering, I was confused why there was so much looseness in the shipping box, when the service said the box was 99% full, when I ordered. I have alerted them to my disappointment, and they refunded my money in full. However, this service is not one that I am eager to give another try. I told Amazon that I would rather shop at the grocery store, and spend extra money, than use this service again and roll the dice on what I may have to throw out from damage. I do not want to go through this every time I get a box from them that is packed like the people working there are living brain donors. Who wants to deal with that?!

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
