I've ordered a bunch of electronics off of Amazon and only had an issue once. The customer service was quick to respond and was very helpful.
This is where I come to find everything i need the web
It was a great experience, as everything was received perfectly in a very short time. I had Ordered PC and I really loved it. Thanks guys for the great work.
I buy mostly e-books from Amazon to my kindle. It is so easy and I have my books almost instantly and then sync them onto my iPad. It is great to have auto email confirmation of what I have bought. I love the fact that Amazon tells you if you have already bought the book previously, so you don't inadvertently buy it twice! Thanks heaps.
Amazon is a great place to shop. I find books, music, candy and cookies, coffee if you need it you can find it and most of the time it ships for free. What a Deal.
Speedy shipping, courteous service, hassle-free returns! Prime is fantastic, too!
I have ordered alot of things from Amazon, every time it was a good experience from Amazon and seller's I will always check here before buying. Thank you Amazon
I always prefer purchasing directly from Amazon although there are many good retailers on there. My last purchase from Amazon UK for beauty products and toiletries was fast although the shipping cost almost as much as the total cost of items.
In the past, parcels with free shipping often got lost and never made it to my home. Books and gifts purchased from Amazon.con would go missing. The service has improved steadily in recent years and hope this would keep up.
Most of the times you can find better prices on Amazon, than other online companies.
I buy thousand of dollars worth of products from Amazon every year and love the service and value.
Amazon.com's site promised I would get a phone call in 1 minute when I needed help sending an item I added to someone's gift list. They did not call in over 25 HOURS despite feedback I would get a call within 1 minute. They later refused to allow me to add a gift to someone's wish list and send it to them. My crime was wanting to send a Teddy Bear.
I had spent hours on Amazon's site trying to add and then order a gift for an online friend who's address is known to Amazon via their wish list, in fact I had already ordered one item that was delivered so I couldn't understand why I could not get their site to work a second time.
When I finally spoke to someone in customer service from the "wish list" department I was told that I can not add something to someone's wish list and send it to them. If that is the case, why do they even allow consumers to add "gift ideas" to the friend's wish list profile if you can't buy them?
They told me it was because the recipient might want to return the gift, but I'm the customer, not the gift recipient. It's my money and I am buying a gift, not an item the recipient can return and get money in return.
The only rationale I can think of is due to sending inappropriate gifts, however I was trying to send a Teddy Bear for a friend, to help in a trying time. Amazon's employee had ZERO interest in trying to understand. Stupid policy is what we have so we're going to follow it. That should be their Slogan.
What is perhaps most ironic about the email I received from Amazon in response to my complaint is the last line of Amazon's email:
"Your feedback is helping us build Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company."
This has to be the biggest lie I've seen advertised by a company in years. What an absolutely horrible company to do business with.
I've been shopping with amazon for quite some time. Never disappointed.
I love Amazon prime. I can usually find everything I am looking for - from textbooks to car parts to beauty supplies. Amazon makes online ordering easy and their recommendations are usually very relevant.
Great source for many books on many subjects delivered in a fashion that exceeds any other app. A real temptation to break your budget quickly but satisfaction is guaranteed!
I bought a jacket in Amazon.com. The item looks very nice in the picture. When I received the item…I could not believe it! It was TRASH… It was made of terrible material, 3 sizes too small and such low quality and value that I will not donate that to a homeless…a shame to send something like that to the United States (this item came for China). Thanks to Amazon, they immediately help me and to my surprise (based on other experiences) the money was return very fast! GOOD JOB AMAZON.COM!
I love how far amazon has come. I love the free standard shipping, saves me a couple of bucks.
I have been trying since June to get someone from Amazon to tell me why the daily emails no longer show any photos of the "deal" of the day, etc. They kept telling me that it should and that they were looking into it. No one ever got back to me! Today, while placing what will likely be my last order with Amazon, I was told that showing only links was a change they recently made. Who tries to sell something by not showing a picture? I really didn't believe the representative; I'm pretty sure he was just blowing me off. But if Amazon wants to remain a force, they need to up the Customer Service to what it used to be.
We're comparison shoppers, and usually find the Amazon price among the highest for things we want to buy. Since we don't care if we receive the item in 15 minutes, we generally find better buys on eBay.
I would give it 5 stars but I had a little trouble with the on-line ordering one time and seems they did not do much for customer service, other than that I have been very pleased with everything about them... Prices have been great & you can find just about anything!
Starting to purchase more and more from Amazon. Always had good service from Amazon. I like not having to go into a store.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
