Just so you know if your credit card number is stolen through amazon and a new account is created in a different name and email address You as the credit card owner have no control over deleting that account or your credit card from it even though you can verify you are the sole owner and have no other accounts. Basically the thief is now in control of your credit card what a backwards system, they do not protect the owner whatsoever i had to cancel my credit card and wait the 8-10 days for a new one to come in. Completely ridiculous they allow this to happen. If i new the email address using my card i would cancel it myself
After being an Amazon customer for years and having no complaints, I hate to say that is no longer the case. I am having problems connecting my Echo to the Internet. After going through four or five total programmed techs who can only follow their script, over and over again. I get a hold of a so-called supervisor who promptly puts me on hold for ten minutes and then hangs up on me. This did not happen once but FOUR times. So I must believe that it is their way of getting rid of you when they can't fix the problem. To me,
It would be easier to just explain to the customer that they don't know the answer and will try and find it or tell you it can't be done. Not hang up on you and hope you don't get them again. The worse customer service I have ever delt with!
They locked my account and, for some godforsaken reason, you can't access the "contact us" page while your account is locked! I need to cancel an order and I can't because these dimwits don't allow access to their email or phone number. Absolutely ridiculous. Site layout is a $#*!ing joke.
I have ordered many things from Amazon.ca, from DVDs to books to household stuff. Not all the products I have received are true to the advertisements. Shipping ETD is usually accurate (they even mark on my cell phone calendar automatically). I liked that when I search for something it lists all the sellers who sell the same item so I can compare deals. The only complain I have is that the. Com site carries more products than. Ca site.
I ordered a Chemical Guys waterless wash and wax kit for almost $80 on Amazon and when it arrived, I found I had a difficult time opening the pump spray bottle. I did notice it was a bit greasy by the nozzle but thought maybe that's normal. Once I finally got it open a horrifically stinky odor escaped and the damn thing had been used. That's so disappointing and gross! I emailed the Chemical Guys to let them know and I've contacted Amazon customer service and requested a refund. This means I got to go out of my way to print out a return label and drive to gawd knows where to return this gross thing. Its so upsetting... obviously Amazon doesn't care about what they ship out.
As I was repacking, I noticed a grease spot inside the box as well.
Amazon is a joke. I bought a gift card because I do not have a credit card. Then while checking out, I was informed that I needed a credit card on file as well. I do not have one. I then tried to sell the card to someone else only to find out that this card is locked to my account forever. I called customer service quite a few times and they basically told me "tough $#*!, it's non refundable". What a joke! If I could give it negative stars I would. Just use eBay they have the same stuff for less money.
I contacted amazon customer service when a delivery driver failed to attempt a delivery and was told nothing they could do to help me i will have to wait 14 more days that is their buffer time for a delivery. They have no way to reach anyone else dispatch or the driver. Poor service!
On January 18,2022 I get from Amazon.ca e-mail:
"Your Prime membership will not renew
We are confirming that you have turned off your auto-renew setting. Your Prime membership will not continue"
But on February 17,2022, an amount of $ 9.19 was charged from my NBC credit card as Amazon Prime Membership
I did not use my Prime membership benefits during this period but they charged $ 9.19.
I have asked for this amount to be canceled many times. No reaction. This is how the customer is treated.
For this and other reasons, I very rarely buy from Amazon.ca. Often times, only I am forced to buy there because only Amazon claims the right to sell certain items that you will not buy elsewhere.
A financial tycoon who treats the customer as an object.
Customer support: *******@amazon.ca does not work: "Please do not reply to this e-mail, as we are not able to respond personally to messages sent to this address".
So there is no customer service. Nobody takes any responsibility. Is it normal?
Wouldn't you know it... I give a review then I end up calling them for help hours later. I have a Kindle that is about 4 yrs old & I found a small bright star (crack) in the screen after it fell out of my purse & in my car while at work. When I turned it on it developed a small bright star in the screen... looks like a tiny laser pointing in your eyes. Amazon can't fix the screen, but did give me $30.00 toward any Amazon.ca products. They didn't have to give me anything, but it is greatly appreciated. Thank you to Jerry, he was wonderful.
Amazon.ca is allowing scammers on their website and then not supporting their customers they're gonna go out of business one day if they don't stop it. This isnt the first time I had a problem with Amazon so I thought I'd give them another chance and they blew it again I am totally done with them I'll shop eBay at least eBay support their customers had horrible service with Joseph on Amazon. Ca
The past two items delivered by Amazon were brought in boxes covered with shipping labels. One box had a hole punctured into it. The items inside were fine, but the boxes are a mess. Both are Christmas gifts and I will have to rebox before wrapping.
I am starting to buy elsewhere. These items look like they have been returned and resold by Amazon. Buying locally seems like the way to go.
I was a seller with 100% rating and was suddenly blocked because they found a connection to someone who was previously blocked - my son.
I am not connected to him or his business in any way but they still blocked me. Appeals were ignored.
No help at all from.amazon its terrible customer service. Some are very rude and others have no idea what you're even talking about. Its so frustrating and BNI they get to deliver really sucks badly they need a change like a really big change get your sh@% together amazon use to love amazon now i really don't at all 0 out of 5...
Everyone single book I have ordered for Amazon in the past few years had bent corners, pages or stains.
Also, they care enough to let you know a few days later your order was cancelled when your credit card transaction wasn't approved but not enough to remind you what was in the order. That's amazing when you have a lot of orders going.
I was loyal amazon customer, until march 2020. Product didnt come, was told it was lost. I asked for a refund and neither amazon or the orginal shipping company will respond. Will think twice about ordering again from them
I've been an amazon customer since the 90's and have spent upwards of $10,000 there but I'm done with them. My last order was still not shipped after the supposed arrival date so I phoned them. The CSR said the order was "stuck" and I would have to re order. I didn't want to re order as the price had gone up. She said I had to. The item was still in stock and was shipped and sold by Amazon so there is no reason they couldn't honor the advertised price that I originally ordered at. If the price was an error I'd rather they be honest and say so instead of this "stuck" business. They did offer me $10 credit to re order but I refused. I think I've been a good customer, I've never returned anything or complained before. I don't want to deal with a company that has such sleazy business practices. I know they don't care if they have my business or not but the bright side is I will save a lot of money!
Do not buy anything from Amazon.ca. Besides having prices that are outrageously higher than Amazon.com (for the same item) they do not stand by the products they sell. If you buy something on their site that carries a warranty, you will not be able to enforce that warranty if something goes wrong with the product, even if the product breaks down well within the warranty period. They tell you their website has limitations that prevent them from doing so. I call that fraud. Now you know how Bezos got so rich - by ripping off consumers and not paying their taxes like other retailers. The time has come to crack down on these people.
They misstreat abuse do not help the aged the disabled the weak the non tech very very poor service? All catered to the android types who know nothing about the real world manners humanity, its all greedy mindless online serfdom slavery and the worship of their true God $Money
Purchased a jacket for over $90.00 CAD. Jacket did not fit. Received a shipping label to return it only to find out was not an International shipping label. Contacted Amazon right away. It has now been over three 3 months and I still have the jacket in the package and no refund from Amazon. I have contacted them over six times and nothing. Their A to Z guarantee means nothing. Buyer Beware as Amazon has not and appears will not stand up for you with the seller even though you made the purchase from them.
I bought a tv May 20 2023, have waited over a month still not shipped. Have ordred 3 times different tv,s still no email when it would ship. Phoned customer service over 6 times were supposed to follow up never did. Will never buy a tv from them again
Answer: Don't believe their delivery guarantee. They are late 4/10 times and are unremorseful for it
Answer: Very tough! No longer usable fir me, a Top 1000 and Vines Reviewer.
Answer: If you need customer service good luck it's not existing
Answer: I've never had to pay duty on anything from Amazon.ca, even if it was shipped from another country.
Answer: If Amazon is going to use a third party courier service, (such as Intelcom), cancel your order and shop elsewhere.
Answer: Happened to me. Just another sneaky way that Amazon operates. Welcome to the club.
