Not safe to buy on AliExpress, you will not receive the product you have paid for and AliExoress will not help you, when AE's system falsely confirm your receipt of the order without your knowledge. It is not safe to buy on AliExpress, AE and sellers are together to scam you.
I ordered a pair of shoes, and the seller sent me a wrong one. I ask for return the seller sent me a return label. I bring it to the post office; the post office did not take it because the shoes weight 3 pounds and the label is for 1 pound. My order is not deliverd to me. Aliexpress asked to provide evidence. I did. With no communication their conclusion is not to refund anything. On which basis? It is all great until something is not according to the standard process. As an individual you have no rights and the real face of this giant is exposed. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! DO NOT BUY VIA ALIBABA OR ALIEXPRESS.
Buy at your own risk because there is no customer service at AE. They have automated Bots that know nothing and there's NO telephone option to actually speak with a real live agent.
Also beware, they ask you to ship back items to China at your own cost which sometimes works out more expensive than the actual item!
I ordered a magnifier at 10/15x magnification but received a lower power lens. I was asked to ship back (cost $20) a $25 item. So basically, the seller gets his item back and I get almost nothing back.
My advice - stick to Ebay or similar and stay away from AliExpress until they make the seller pay for items not as described.

I know Alibaba and AliExpress are the same exact company but AliExpress is like the retail version of Alibaba. It can be full of scammers and drop shippers. It is easy to be ripped off because they don't have your back like Alibaba because your not a possible big business. Prices are a little better then Amazon on some things but not others.
If possible unless you are familiar with withing with sellers on there are have trusted contacts I would stay away and stick with Amazon or try Alibaba but it's a little more complicated. Shipping can take over a month a lot of the time and it arrives damaged a lot. Trying to return something to China is a pain. I have had some good buys on there but I happen to know some sellers. If you do use it be very careful and if it seems too good to be true then it most likely isn't.
I cannot in good conscious recommend this site to the average consumer, AliExpress probably will not have your back, unless your willing to pay to ship products back yourself in most cases.

If you ever need to make a claim under their false 60 day guarantee be prepared to have a lot of your time wasted, some sellers may be fraudulent but so is the platform that does not uphold their promises.

I've been ordering from Aliexpress since 2016. Items from clothes to jewelry to hair weave to shoes. The key is to not have high expectations and know what you're paying for. Most of the stuff on there is cheap $#*!. You get what you pay for! And if you don't like it, don't even bother returning it. Just dispute the charges with your bank. I don't have to do this often but the few times that I did, I always got my money back through my bank. Most of the vendors that I buy from have a good communication and others don't. It really can be a hit or miss. Their sizing is really off however the sizing in China is completely different than saving in the US so of course there may be some differences Which is why I always order a size up or two. But overall it is really an amazing site. It really cuts out of the middleman for a lot of items that I like to buy.

A few years ago or so, I made a bad review mainly because I was losing a lot of items that do not have tracking numbers. Will, back then I was still kinda new to online shopping thing and it was my fault, I didn't have a personal P. O Box address so I would only go pick up items with a tracking number when I get a notice from my local mail office, the ones without a tracking number will not reach me so I think it's fair to point that out. After having a personal address mostly I had really good experiences, of course, it also depends on the seller. Finally, I wish they could make the connection with customer service easier personally I am not sure how, I think it was easier in the past because I did contact them before.
