I ordered several things from AliExpress two and half months ago and have received one of them. I am only getting a small portion of my money back on items that I never received. Would NEVER do business with this company again!
I really like the design of the website and how easy it is to find what you are looking for. The range of products is incredibly wide. I think it's impossible not to find what you are looking for, whatever it is.
Anyway, I got scammed by a shop that never delivered what I ordered. Soon after my purchase the shop got closed and I could not contact anyone
So, be aware of fake shops. They are usually doing some really nice deal, and the estimated deliver is always the best, but once they "sell" their products the shop is closed.
The company should do something to protect the customers from these scammers.
I make a lot of purchases on AliExpress. I regret that I started only from 2013. I buy from household trifles to electronics. Quality corresponds to the price, delivery in reasonable time. In case of problems, it is possible to receive up to 100% compensation. I recommend to all my friends to buy here.
Aliexpress have Started doing a guaranteed 15day delivery. The theory is if the goods don't arrive you get your money back. Problem is the sellers don't honor this if the item is delayed.
Order from Aliexpress under these conditions
1. Time is not a factor
2. You don't need to return the item
3. You need to contact support. As you will not be able to speak with a person

I placed a order and received the wrong dress. They are making me pay for their mistake. Their not sending the correct dress or offering a complete refund. Bad business rating F+
I ordered a pair of boots. They didn't fit. I simply asked them to use my refund money to issue me a different size and they wouldn't budge. They simply said no. I thought the customer is always right, but not in this case. Not happy. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Don't order from china ugh
I have been though a horrible experience with aliexpress.com.
I place an order on Jan 29 2014 with 4 different items.
One of the phone cable dead on arrival ($5.99).
They refused to send me a replacement.
Second, I should get a $5 discount if an order over $25 but they charge me a full amount.
No $5 deduct from this order. Third, one of the item hasn't receive yet but the ignore to issue me the information.
I email them couple time no response. My next step will contact my visa to dispute this charge.
I will continuing to flight until they slove this issue. They don't really care about the customer service.

Aliexpress is a scam! Especially the refund and their customer service.
I am a loyal customer to them, but I have a problem now. DHL decided to never deliver the package to me and decided on their hand to send the items I've paid back to the seller.
So I never got the package delivered because of DHL's behavior. But I'm here with me having paid for products I didn't get. So I contacted AliExpress Customer Service for this. Now they are telling me I need a signed letter from DHL confirming that they sent the package back...
So let's think out loud: do you think DHL will give me a signed letter confirming their mistake? NO of course not! I've waited 1 hour to get to DHL customer service and they just laughed. But AliExpress is just holding on to "this is our procedure and you have to do that". So basically they are telling you that you need to do an impossible job to get your refund. What a laugh!
So people be warned: Don't trust Aliexpress and reaching out to their customer service
I have ordered many Items through Alliexpress some items i order first i get last, one time i ordered a Mens wallet never received it! No explanation given for why? I just ordered a pair of Shoes after i ordered two watches and Men's laptop bag. I got the shoes first, the watches are still in Los Angeles almost 5 days, just like the wallet was, i'm beginning to think this is a common thing that happens.
I did not recieved the product yet inspite of paying. Its been more than 4 months. Pathetic service. I simply gave up after chasing so many times.its takes prolong time for shipping. There is way options of Refund... worst
Customer service is horrendous. Buyer protection and 23 day guarantee delivery was not honored. Seller sent fraudulent shipping information to back up his claim that the item arrived on time. Item wasn't even shipped until after I opened a claim dispute. Avoid this site.
I made 4 orders from 3 different vendors and only 1 vendor managed to fulfill the order after 4 months of ordering.
The rest wouldn't fulfill their order and both of them refuse to give me refunds because they made me wait past the buyer's protection time. Now they are shifting the blame when they clearly asked me to wait and receive the product.

IMO if you are going to shop clothes it might be the best option in the web. A friend of mine got a defective product once, sent the photo back to seller and had an option to have his money refunded.
One seller offered refund by himself because of customs regulation issues(she hadn't used a forwarder as I told her and here we go) but she have chose to wait a month more till the product arrives.
Long story short, their buyers protection works great and I have rarely seen stories about scummy sellers who refused to refund.

My name is Anurag Trivedi. My order No. **************. While selling items description given was it's an original one. I bought without a second thought. While I received product, all earphones were fake as I had already used originals when launched in India. I raised a dispute for this and most shocking was their judgment in favour of seller who sells fake products using word "Original". I mean they even didn't investigated this complete case and still wonder how they denied the fact. This clearly states that customers shouldn't expect any neutral judgment from them. Please see attached self-explanatory pictures.
I ordered a Mah Jongg mat and have never received it. They mailed it, I never received it. What is worse, it was up to me to prove I did not receive it. Pray tell me how does one do that. Will never use them again. So much for their guarantee - which means nothing. Do not trust this company as they do not back up on their promise. Totally scamming website. Buyer's guarantee promise didn't do anything. Purchased a product and arrived faulty, raised the fault but only partial refund was received without any communication. I even paid for the shipping separately

Aliexpress must be like pot luck: I have ordered and received 6 items now, from 4 vendors, and they have been all good - except one where the watch band broke - they asked for a photo of this, and I was refunded the purchase amount in 3 days. The watch itself works, it is a replica of a high end watch, with little dials for seconds, moon phases etc - they don't work, but look good enough to be worn as a dress watch, maybe.
All these items were under $7.00, BTW, I wasn't kidding myself about trusting large amounts of money to completely unknown entities that aren't covered by an umbrella organisation like Ebay, or Fishpond.
As many others I have relied on Aliexpress to come good with remedies as promised when things go south: refund and return or partial refund and keep.
Experience now tells me otherwise. Extended correspondence with the seller, Joying as the seller has engaged in protracted email exchange until it was too late to leave an appropriate comment on this sale, and Aliexpress declined to assist, and without extending the opportunity for me to correct the seller's statement relied on his accusation that I did not provide the umptious video showing the problem. Any remedy offered by the seller involved me spending significant money up front and having to rely that a payment may one day arrive from China. Aliexpress just washed their hands with a ruling that the case is closed.
Neither are ethical, I just write off the A$600 against experience.
Do not deal with Joying, do not rely on Aliexpress to put anything right...

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. Answer: Do not buy from aliexpress the quality is terrible and lots of sellers never send the items. Also they sell counterfeit designs too which is illegal to purchase.
