I forgot about the "same as cash" period … no big deal but when I looked at my agreement… my price should have only been $400 over retail … I just realized I have almost paid 3 times the price for my sofa. I use to get emails telling me what my early purchase price was … after 3 months no more emails. When I called about this I was told that it's my fault that I'm not getting emails and should check my spam folder although I verified my email address with the representative. I will be contacting my states attorney general so that I can get my money back that has been over paid. I will also be filing a dispute with my bank.
Melissa made my experience at acceptance now outstanding. She understands and is very knowledgeable other than employees who I talked to a couple of times. I could not ask for better customer service, Thank you Melissa you are amazing! Negative I would say calling a customer more than once a day, especially a customer who never has had a late payment but once, and was set up to do a buyout. Melissa was the only one who notated my account properly and didn't call me every other day but called when I advised her I would pay. I received two calls in one day from one employee who did not properly read my account. If you purchase anything I recommend working with melissa only if possible.

I furnished my whole house using this program. If you do not read the contract, you will get caught with the scam. I give it three stars because I was able to get a king sized bedroom set, a leather sectional for my family room, full dining room set, a banquette, leather living room set, a full size console among other things... l used the program 3 times and came away with about 30K worth of furniture for a little less than 10K BECAUSE I was very pointed with my questions and I made them note specific dates on the contract. I also planned to make payments a week earlier than was noted in the event the reps were not forthright.
My husband and I have been trying to get a refund for an order we canceled over a month ago and have been getting the run around for a few weeks now. I finally called the chattanooga store and spoke with Cody and he has been the most helpful by far. He was the first person to actually care and take the time to figure out what was going on. He told me he was actually from Huntsville, Alabama but that he would keep trying to help in anyway that he can. I have had a very negative view on acceptance now until Cody helped me. I am a customer with AcceptanceNow and I must say throughout this ordeal with the COVID-19 I personally had the best experience with a representative of AcceptanceNow by the name of Amanda. This young woman was the most genuine charismatic person I have had the pleasure of speaking and doing business with during this time. She went above and beyond her responsibilities to assist me with my account and payment. If I can continue doing business with this young lady you will have a customer for a long time! We remained on the phone for over 30 minutes trying to get everything situated, never once did Amanda show anything but the upmost respect for me but also is very knowledgeable about her business! This is the kind of person who deserves a shout out during this pandemic and the company should be proud to have such an outstanding employee! This is for the Montgomery, AL area.
I willingly entered into a contract for a purchase of a 399$ Chair and the end of my 90 days If I choose to pay off early i would have owed 30$. Covid Hit during that time and my auto payments continued to come out of my account which was fine. However I miscounted days and was about 2 weeks past my 90 day payoff. I called to explain and was told by a VERY RUDE rep. That SORRY a contact is a contract..
I used acceptance now for a few purchases. When the last purchase was paid off in December 2020 I got a letter saying they would continue my membership fees of $12.84 a month unless contacted them. I contacted them every month to discontinue the membership. They have continued to take fee out of account. I wish we could get a class action suit against them to stop this. I have seen people have had to cancel cards used to stop this. It's fraud! I had to block card and now am without a card because of them. If use them do not sign up for auto pay!
I was approved for $2700. For some furniture, through Acceptance Now, they've been taking out my account $372. Since December 2022, I called them today to see how much I owe, they told me I have to pay $372. For 15 more months. I'm furious
Please make sure you read and understand your rental agreement I thought I got a good deal with the 90 same as cash program but I ended up paying 1700 for a 1200 couch because of taxes fees delivery warranty (tips) basically whatever they can charge you for all while I paid it off in the 90 days! Then I called the rooms to go store and acceptance now custer service and they both were rude and hung up in my face after minutes of back n forth I still didnt understand why all of my money wasnt going towards the couch and it was a very bad experience. Never will use them again.
I will NEVER EVER EVER purchase furniture with Bob's using AcceptanceNow. Why? Well. I purchased living room coffee table that was priced at $325.00, I overlooked my 120 days to pay off and ended up paying double for what I paid. All this was during the height of the Pandemic. I contacted customer service requesting their support on my error and they gave me the run around.
So that being said. I urge you not to use AcceptanceNow. If you do just stay on top of your deadline to payoff.
I wish I had come across this site before I made a purchase through these scammers. They give you one price during your agreement and then add on an additional 15% and "club fees" so only part of your payment is actually going towards your product w/out your knowledge. That cost me an extra $200.00 on top of the fees they actually tell you about. Its such a rip off. They also report on your credit a much higher $ amount so it looks like you haven't paid as much and actually lowers your score. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use acceptanceNow for anything!
Honestly this company is totally useless. I called their manager in Smyrna asking for help with going over account. He was totally uninterested in solving my issues and kept on telling me he will mail me documents. I have had all but problems with Acceptance now. I will never use again. The manager there Josh Korn guys has a very lackadaisical attitude and needs help with customer service skills.
Do not use this company, I was conned from Value City to purchase 4 chairs for 300.00,54.00 per month. Never late on my payments went to pay the very last payment and OOPS now you owe 700.00 because the contract secretly ended a week ago. This company takes full advantage of people who may not be able to pay right out. It's very sad. Shame on Value City for conning people into a "great deal" through this sad company. YUCK!
This company is a scam.Says no credit check everyone approved lol right. I've used them before paid it off no missed payment. Now We get denied. Had my son apply they approved him for 600 what a $#*!ing joke. What the hell is 600 dollars in the store lol a lamp a rug? Lol also the product we did buy had a warranty the refrigerator went bad. Paid over 3 grand only to fight an argue to get it fixed or replaced. They brought me a plain refrigerator that cost 900 bucks. But milked me out of 3 grand. We can also go into the rent a center an buy anything no matter the cost. But yet can't get a dam couch through big sandys or value city. Same company they use for a rent to own.
Pretty much in the nut shell I bought $1,000 couch which was replaced twice cost me $2000 at the end of the lease agreement! I cannot believe how this company gets away with it. There pretty much stealing from the consumers! There Interest rate is basically 100%! It makes me angry, because this was never explained to us. Buyers beware and always ask questions!
Don't waste time they will finance you but you will pay forever when you call them they said you did not meet time frame payment so the payments jump back to 100% interest lol!. Please! Please!. I bought furniture last year for 900.00. Because I didn't pay it off in 90 day time frame I've paid 174.00 a month for 12 months, add it up. I called to ensure that my last payment would be 1/1/20, was told that had to pay four more payments or buyout the contract for over 400.00.

I got furniture from room to go and used this credit from acceptance, and it's the worst decision I made this year!... our furniture was about 2300. 00 and and within less than 6 months calculating the pay off with payments made we paid a total of 4,000.00!... don't do it to yourself!...
There site doesn't give the full balance, balance due, or the last date of your plan you signed up for details only the amount of due on the scheduled payment. They do not work with the customers on the extended payment plan if paid a day or 2 late. My less than a thousand dollar sofa turned into 1700 cause I paid my last payment on my 90 day payoff 2 days late since I couldn't make the balance online or get to the location before they closed. Out of the 3 agents I've talked too only 1 was nice, friendly & seemed to care about the customer. I will never use their service again. This was at the Forest Park, Ga location. The hours posted say 9 pm closing but they close an hour earlier. Be careful & use your own tracking if you do decide to use them cause they care more about making more money then serving the customers.
Answer: AcceptanceNow is a legit company; however, they definitely take advantage of people with how they offer financing. Please…please don't use them if you can't pay off your item as soon as possible. The companies that use them shld do better.
