Bought an iPhone and wireless headphones, iPhone was faulty and headphones were counterfeit. Then you're caught up in their nasty returns and assessments process which is tailored to screw you over. They do desperately want the headphones back so there's no proof they're sending out fakes but I'm holding onto them and taking my complaint to tribunal and encourage others not to let this nasty company take advantage of them.
Not dispatched within 6 days. Poor inadequate customer service. Take yr money with the order. Unable or unwilling to give accurate update.
Give a tracking no after 4 days. Showing no action. Use accredit card and get yr money back fast. Wish I had read reviews before trying to obtain
After seeing some reviews of 1 day I must admit being a little nervous but it all went well. Very helpful chat before I paid, delivery in the time frame specified along with tracking info provided beforehand and item arriving in good time and undamaged and exactly as advertised. Not sure why some people seem to have trouble but all for me and a great price as well:-)
8-12 days is a long time to wait for delivery anyway, but they can't even keep to that. Still waiting 14 days later and customer service are anything but helpful. Web site lists it as shipped, but tracking says that they've labelled it, but it hasn't been picked up. They now say it'll be 2-3 days after labelling to get picked up. So don't tell me it's shipped. Nasty company, shouldn't exist in a competitive market.
Fault with a cable for a swann security camera system. Would not meet obligations under Consumer Guarantees Act to replace the cable. While in general the product itself was fine apart form one fault, don't expect any help if you have problems with a purchase. They will give you the run around. Not recommended at all.
Ordered an item 3 weeks and 4 days ago.
They provided with a tracking number a few days after my purchase (which I had to chase) and yet the board has not left their warehouse yet (after checking with freight company). They keep sending emails with useless apologies and yet nothing gets fixed. I asked for shipping compensation and they provided with a store credit! This is the poorest and unaccountable customer service I have ever seen and experienced.
We bought the Tixi kinderkraft high chair. 2.5 weeks later it arrives with parts missing! Contacted one day and the response was lack lustre and absolutely not helpful. Off to mitre 10 to hopefully get some actual help. How are these guys still operating!
Got camping gear of the site ripped in the wind ( wasn't even that windy!) on night 3. Also gave them another chance and ordered from them again 4-6 shipping yet it's been over 2 weeks and still nothing. Their customer service team really needs to learn customer service! So incredibly rude and unhelpful. Great at giving excuses to cover their backs. Also if they don't like what they hear they won't reply altogether. Terrible.
Black ‘Beyond' moon chairs. Website says ‘super comfortable'. These are the most uncomfortable camping chairs we've ever sat on! The bar under the legs has very little padding, sore after sitting in them for 5minutes. Won't let us return for refund.
I bought an electric lawnmower 3 weeks ago, but it would only run for a couple of seconds. My lawns are so friggin long but as 1day have my money I can buy another one. I have lost faith in 1day and the brand of lawnmower. I just want my money back, instead I get email replies saying its being assessed. It was not fit for purpose.
Will be closing my account and staying away from these cowboys.
We found 1day from trademe and decided yo go through the provider because this larger size item was not listed. Payment was easy, and i received an email notification with the id and confirmation of a 4-6 day delivery time. I did not receive an email confirming the item had shipped, which would have made this a 5 star review. However a prompt webchat was able to provide me with the tracking number and the item arrived the next day. The item was packed securely and seems fair/good quality for the price. Getting the basics right is so important, and you nailed it 1day! Can't wait to get in there!
Stay away from all the refurb items I. E iPhones.
This is the second iPhone I've purchased and twice I've returned them. I've wasted a lot of time for something that should of been so simple and not to mention I will be without a phone while this is being repaired!

Ordered something, told the estimated arrival was 4-6 days. Day 8 I chat with them and query why it's still awaiting shipment... Told there's staffing problems due to winter illnesses and they'll hopefully have it sent out to me in a few days.
#1 Winter is when people get sick, it's nothing new, have staff as backup when this happens
#2 staffing levels aren't the customers problem and
#3 casually saying you'll hopefully get it out to mean indicates that you don't really give a #%$! And therefore I'm not likely to buy from you again.
Attitude was just blasé and dismissive. Not impressed.

Don't buy anything from them, you will likely find it cheaper and maybe not refurbished low-quality stuff like the products from 1day.
My partner ordered a gift for me from overseas. These potential scammers wouldnt dispatch the product without looking at her bank atatement. This is after i forwarded the proof of purchase snap-shot as well as the email confirmation. Cancelled my order without even giving me any options and i haven't even got my money back. The customer engagement administrator was full of crap and had no intention to secure a business deal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!
I purchased two tablets for my kids for Christmas. One of them didn't work at all. Long story short it's now the end of February and still no refund or replacement. Despite my constant attempts to get in contact with someone that can help. 1day has been mucking me around for over 2 months.
Absolute shocking customer service... bought a mac book pro for my sons birthday a month ago and have been given the run around ever since. Each person we managed to get hold of (if we were lucky as they hardly respond to emails/ messenger or live chat is always off) told us a different story. We were told at least 3 different delivery dates... still nothing and no communication as to what is happening... this purchase was over $1000 so not cheap. I wish I had looked at the reviews before going ahead with this... worst decison ever and now I have one very upset child. Stay Away!
Have bought here over the years with generally a good experience, usually shipping times are quick and items besides electronics are good, hence 2 stars not one,
But I would say don't ever buy the mystery bags, as you will be disappointed and electronics such as tablet and bluetooth speaker were cheap price, but 2 dollar shop quality. Tablet was so slow, it was from the ice ages and gave to my niece as a toy!
Recently purchased a phone, not cheap too, brand new samsung s9, that was advertised as unlocked to all networks.
When I get the phone, it is locked to a US carrier, so inconveniently must be sent back.
Waiting to see how they deal with this, but it really should not of happened in the first place!
I've bought quite a few things from this site, sometimes I have received decent products in a reasonable timeframe. Other times I have received shocking quality products. I purchased some clothes racks that were advertised as usually >$160 but they were very flimsy and average (I'd value them at no more than $40). I purchased a brand new phone from them which had it's speaker malfunction after 3 months, I sent it in to be warranted. I did not receive any email or phone after their deadline of 20 days. I did not receive any replies until I threatened to go to the Commerce Commission. I finally received my phone over 1 month later. When asked for compensation, they acted dumb about the situation.
Answer: There is no phone number. Only live chat or email. Suggest live chat as they don't respond to emails for 2-3 days (if at all) If you go to options at the bottom of the chat you can email yourself a copy of the transcript - in my case this will be a very long novel if I had up 3 weeks of daily chats requesting updates on my order and having to repeat infomration every time is very tiresome!
Answer: We purchased an iphone 7 refurbished phone and if there are any issues it is a terribly slow and frustrating process. We got a replacement sent and the replacement was also faulty! I would not recommend 1-day at all personally.

Answer: You've got to get on the online chat with them and hound the daylights out of them to get anywhere. There is no phone number that I've been able to find, and I've been looking quite hard for the last few weeks myself.
