Don't trust 1day very bad service

Since my last post. I still dealt with numerous people who log off live chat without any help.

I sent in pictures as asked. Was advised twice they would get in touch with the manufacturer this is over two weeks. To date no reply from 1day about manufacturer response.

I get the response of "you now need to fill out return form" what was the point of sending pictures with instruction manual showing wrong parts!

So angry with misleading information and timeliness in dealing with company extremely poor service...

I purchased 4m dog runner. I received package without correct parts for gate. I have two of right side pole and nothing for bottom of the gate.

I emailed 1day day who apologize and asked if anything damaged. I decided emailing would take too long. I try find a phone number and remembered there may be a few. Fine I'd pay just to get things done only to discover no number. Ok I said to myself there has to be another way so I log onto site and discover live chat except it's offline. After waiting hours it's finally online.

I explained to staff the of the problem and was advised this will be looked into and a response would be given within a couple of hours. IBefore was delighted. Before I could respond live chat again was offline.

I emailed again no response be the end of day. I went through fb which lead me to messenger and was advised request to manufacturer was sent through and a response would follow next day. Since it was now evening this made sense.

The following day I finally got response from female I live chatted the previous day stating she had just sent request to manufacturer.

I am not happy with communication and services from 1day. I strongly recommend you never buy expensive items pay extra and order elsewhere

DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED PHONES FROM 1-DAY. Bought one a few weeks ago. Won't take calls and turns off randomly. After a few emails they told me I could send it back but the courier said i must supply a bag (which 1-day said they would pay for shipping). Tried emailing, took another few days to reply and now it's almost 3 weeks that I've been trying to send the phone back. Really gutted; I'm surprised they are still around with the amount of bad reviews they have.

Terrible service
December 21, 2017

Bought item, did not get delivered in time, gave an extra few days, talked to the live chat who said would sort out, then they emailed me back saying it is delivery problem and gave me number to call that gives prerecorded message and hangs up. Not happy.

Bought Samsung VR glasses. They were "shipped" two days later. Never arrived so I enquired with support. Apparently, they were never shipped due to being out of stock. Now they are refunding me. Guess they would have just kept my money had I not emailed them.

I am amazed that One Day Sale Live Chat cannot make phone calls.
How is that good customer service when they are not allowed to make phone calls which would resolve issues immediately.

Very disappointed and frustrated

After seeing some reviews of 1 day I must admit being a little nervous but it all went well. Very helpful chat before I paid, delivery in the time frame specified along with tracking info provided beforehand and item arriving in good time and undamaged and exactly as advertised. Not sure why some people seem to have trouble but all for me and a great price as well:-)

I have bought many items from 1 day.co.nz
"At cheap as prices" and have had only 3 items not delivered in time frame given but 1day has always replied quickly and sorted issues fast with either full refund or shipping another item. Will shop there again and again.

Spent $1208 for a mac product, they sent me different mac product worth $800. Dealt with Stephanie who allegedly processed a refund for $500. When followed up for the refund was told she had incorrect credit card details, then withdrew her offer giving excuses and offering $60 voucher. From $500 to $60... 1 day dodgy deals it should be called.

Bought a drone for Christmas for my kids - product is incomplete with no charger unit! After 5 failed requests for contact I went to live chat who told me to return it for a refund. I explained - or at least tried to - that parts of the drone once assembled cannot be disassembled. It won't fit back into the original box without some breakage or they send a huge box to send this thing in. Told basically my problem - if it's broken no refund and they don't have big boxes! Told after an hour of live chat that a manager will call me. Still waiting. Am just going to disputes tribunal - much easier than dealing with this company.

I've bought several things from 1-Day and usually they're fine. Stuff like dishwasher tablets and such. I made this mistake of buying a refurbished iphone for my son. The battery was stuffed when we got it, so I sent it back -- they've now had the phone for 6 weeks (longer than we actually had the phone) and I cannot get a resolution out of anyone. The online chat people all talk the same rubbish and can't actually DO anything. I just want a refund. Stick with basic stuff from these guys, anything costly or electronic? Stay FAR FAR away.

Ordered grey blankets, received green blankets asked for refund or colours as requested. Was told as a kind gesture well give you a voucher upon return of blankets? Basically told were taking your money and take what your given. Rude, ignorant and disloyal company especially after being a loyal customer for so long. Can shove the blankets up there %@$!# holes and will never purchase from them again.

Don't deal with this company. Phone arrived faulty. There is no one that you can phone to sort out. You can only communicate by the web (live chat) or email. One day said it was a warranty issue and it would take 10 to 14 days to access. I demanded a refund. They finally agreed to refund. It took over 2 weeks to get refund and lots of one way emails. Their communication is very poor. Will never buy from them again.

Poor service

Poor service from both 1-Day & Courier Post NZ.

It took 7 days for the items to be dispatched from their warehouse, which is very slow by today's standards.

And now the items are sometimes between Hamilton & Christchurch, some 5 days later.

They are tracked items so this is quite appalling from both companies in my opinion.

In over 30 transactions on Trade Me, I have never had items arrive this late.

1 Day Deal

IPhone 6 refurbished - $260 spent. Do not under any circumstances deal with this company for electronics. I bought this phone for my grandson. So only wanted a cheap 1st phone. I at least expected the thing to work. Now I'm fighting for a Refund. DONT DO IT... they are so hard to get money back off. And the only contact you have is a frustrating chat box or email. I've learnt the hard way. I've given them until COB today or Im going to the Commerce commision., under the consumer guarantees act.

I should have read the reviews before I ordered a refurbished laptop
Only in the confirmation email did it suddenly say 4-6 days delivery. It took 8.the product was grubby and the cord and charger were incompatible with the laptop.
Worse you cannot phone 1day and they won't phone you to sort out any issue. I spent over an hour on we chat and then they want me to fill in all sorts of forms and take days to refund.
Best advice... Go down to your local store, get your item on the spot and if it doesn't work go back and sort it face to face.

ABSOLUTELY APPAULING
February 20, 2018

Faulty product, 3 weeks no follow up to enquiries as to what was going on. Blown off, asked to wait a further day- till staff members returned ( after saying it was urgent and i wanted my money back)

No actual action till i threatened action in the district court.

FINALLY got the 1300 dollars back... now have to sort another product.
Tempted to send them a bill for the time i spent fighting for a reply.

If i could rate lower than one star, I would.

Crap service

Crap service on missing delivery - no-one can tell me where it is. Keep passing the buck that it is the freight forwarders problem. I paid the money to 1-day I would expect them to sort it out. Been waiting 3 weeks so far and still haven't received goods that I paid over $200 for. Have to repeat myself to chat online everytime to someone different - lots of promises to follow up and update me but never get anything

Buyer Beware

Tough luck getting a refund or a response on damaged goods... appalling customer service.
Don't buy anything of value here as you will have a hard time getting anywhere with them.
If they were a trader on trademe they would probably have been banned by now for their behaviour towards customers with complaints.
Lesson learned.

I am gutted that a phone I bought last October took 2 weeks to get to me, then needed the battery fixed so was again out of action for weeks, then starts to have battery issues literally days after the warranty ends! Don't buy refurbished phones off 1-day, it's not worth the hassle and waste of time and money. Should have checked here first!

4K Ultra HD Action Camera
September 21, 2020

It is advertised as 4k but is definitely not, even at standard 1080 HD the quality is poor. It says that it does 4k at 30fps but it is a very poor picture compared even to my cheap phones camera. You have to hold it very still at that frame rate and the picture is not HD quality.

I regret buying this. Also the camera says it is taking 16meg photos but they look closer to 2meg in quality.
Service was ok.
