How I Can Help

I know a lot about survey sites and other sites that pay you to run ads or do other things online. My reviews are fair and thorough.

I enjoy being a member. I usually get a few survey invitations per month, the surveys I qualify for are generally quick and I almost always earn 50 points when I screen out of a survey, which is the case most of the time. Also, I love my member dashboard which looks good, is easy to navigate and makes it easy for me to see my points balance. The drawbacks are you must accumulate 14,000 points to be able to request a $10 check and I just waited about 5 to 6 weeks to get my first check from them.

You'll have a seamless experience running ads with them. You can choose a strong title and write great content to your liking in a box that provides limited but nevertheless adequate character space. There's no charge and you can run your ads as long as you like. The main drawback is you're limited to a maximum of three ads and you can only run one of them on any given day.

I'm disappointed I had recently been banned for I suppose having a commercial link in my signature but the ban which I had thought was permanent has been lifted. Overall, I've had a pretty good experience here and you can freely express your views.

They provide quality infographics such as charts, posters and other visuals that enable you to get more traffic, engage your visitors, etc. Furthermore, it's easy to install and edit these features plus you get an outstanding variety of designs to create and edit. What keeps me from giving them five stars is that you can't have more than five infographics posted at the same time in your account without upgrading and paying about 30 to 50 bucks a month.

  • Blogger

Blogger is free and reliable plus it provides many useful features you can use to make your blog great; also, you can put any code you need to put on your pages from other sites by copying and pasting it into your HTML/Javascript settings. The main drawbacks are that the site statistics aren't too accurate and you no longer have total control over your blog template.

  • Website Magazine

9/10/16

Website Magazine lets you sign up for a free online magazine that comes to your email and provides pretty good marketing tips. I just wish they sent emails a little more.

They are reliable and let you make money through taking surveys and completing offers. They would be great if it did not often take half a year or more to reach the $30 payout level and they did not only let you get paid by check - on the bright side, you can get your checks within a week by paying ten bucks for a lifetime gold membership.

  • Greyhound Bus Lines

4/11/19

It's fun to ride the bus across America with this service and it's a lot cheaper to travel this way than by airplane or train. Also, you can save 10 % on your rides by having an online membership through their website. Furthermore, it's easy to book a trip through their website and by calling them and free Wi-Fi service is offered on the buses and at the bus stations.

The cons of riding Greyhound are that there are often long delays due to bad weather, the driver not showing up, etc. The free internet service is spotty; on my most recent return trip, I was able to get online at the Cleveland station but unable to get online at the next stops despite having successfully connected to Greyhound's internet service portal. Finally, you still have to pay the customary $20 fee to change your schedule in the event of a death in the family; on top of that, the agent I just talked to made an error on my departure time and said I would have to pay another 20 bucks to change that (despite the fact this error occurred on their end).

  • ShareThis

It's a free service and it's easy to place their social media buttons code on your site. This can help you if your blog/website pages aren't long because the set of buttons you're provided with is small and will automatically fall at the bottom of your page below your content no matter where you try to place it - this will likely not help you if you have long pages because few visitors will go that far thus limiting your viral potential. I got a little benefit from using them when my content was relatively short. Fortunately, there are better alternatives.

I'm giving them a neutral rating. I have nothing bad to say about them and I appreciate how they send you newsletters to try to help you out in addition to providing banners and links that operate successfully. If you get good traffic to your traffic blog/website and from social media and your visitors are consistently responsive plus convertible, I encourage you to give this site a try, as it has strong earning potential for everyone. However, I recently quit using them after being a member for nearly a year and a half because in addition to getting no sales, I never even got any clicks to my links/banners other than my first few months of membership when I got a few clicks.

  • Work.onespace

I continue to use it so it must not be that bad. What I like about them is that when you find work you qualify for, the tasks are quick and you will get paid within a few days through your PayPal account, even if you literally just earned a few pennies for doing work that day. What I dislike is that many of the tasks require you to have qualification for them and it's hard to pass the tests to get those qualifications. Also, I don't often get work because I don't have any of their qualifications.

I mainly just publish comic strip books for free with them now. Although you can generate 70 % of what you charge for your books in sales by choosing the 70-percent option for the $2.99-$9.99 range, overall sales have plummeted for me here the last four years plus they don't provide your views tally; consequently, I had to move most of my books to another market. On the bright side, you can possibly get a $1500 advance by using their Kindle Scout program as a member; however, your submission must have at least 50,000 words and fall into a certain category. Minus getting a sale, you will generate revenue for each page of one of your books that someone reads on their Kindle but it is usually pennies literally. I give them strong credit for publishing your submission within 12 hours.

  • AdMaven

10/2/16

This is what I said about Ad Maven previously: If you or your visitors click a link on your site, you will be foiled by a full-page pop-up ad that won't let you reach your intended destination. Since then, Ad Maven has revamped. As I'm now giving it another try, it appears promising in regard to earnings potential, you only have to accumulate 5 bucks in your account for a payout and the ads are much less intrusive.

Hi and thanks for the feedback. We are a simple ads server platform, in order to get popunder with limitation in the page and help you out to set your ad configuration, can you please contact us at publishers@ad-maven.com?

  • PopAds

7/15/16

Pop Ads has earnings potential as a pop-under ad network and it has safe ads but I wish it was more consistent in generating impressions. That being said, it can be one of the best pop-under ad networks out there.

  • hits4pay

7/14/16

I recommend this site because it's quick and easy to view their ads and make the 25 bucks needed to cash out. The drawbacks are that it's not as great as it used to be and once you reach the 25-dollar level, you will get paid 45 days after the last day of that month.

  • Lycos

6/3/16

Lycos has a system that makes it easy to read and delete emails plus I was able to sign up to become a member for free. However, they changed it so that new members would have to pay a fee. This is now my secondary email account.

  • AyuWage

8/4/15

As a member of Ayuwage, I used to easily make at least five to ten bucks a month reading ads and following many of the menu options in my dashboard. Alas, the last several months have been bad regarding the earnings potential. Because I'm now hard-pressed to have enough ads to reach the level of 10,000 points to earn 5 bucks every two months, it's no longer worth it to open their ads, switch back to doing my other online work in another tab then return to the ad landing pages to click on page content/links or whatever else is required to finish that task.

  • Wheel of Fortune

2/3/21

Wheel of Fortune has you create an account on their website if you want to be eligible to apply to be a contestant on their show, or to be eligible to win cash and prizes. This is fine, and I enjoyed going to my account every day to check to see if my spin ID won anything, but you're out of luck if you ever forget your password or the login system no longer recognizes you. Upon having this trouble a few days ago I clicked "Forgot your password?" and submitted my email address but the site never got back to me.

It's easy to get accepted by them as a publisher and you can steadily earn money but this is as far as I can go for praise. First, the minimum threshold to meet for being eligible for a payout is 20 or 25 dollars, a high bar to meet if you don't have strong traffic. Second, I have only made eight cents, and just one cent at a time since I joined in July or August.

Third, and most importantly, many of their ads are poison. At first most of the display ads I received from them were porn - I remedied this by only running pop-under ads that opened in a new tab. Just now it got to the point where these ads made returning to my websites impossible, even though the ads opened up in a separate tab.

It's easy to set up your books for audio script auditions, provide your tax information and set your payment preferences but that's as far as I can go for praise, as I ultimately wasted my time setting up two books to be made into an audio book to be available for sale. Once you listen to an audition then click "Make Offer" then complete the offer form, it's impossible to make your offer go through and thus have it reflected in your dashboard. I feel sorry for the voice actors who undoubtedly spend oodles of time searching for auditions, responding to them, making a voice over and no doubt are left hanging to get an offer from an author in hopes of earning revenue from a one-time production payment from the author or sharing book sale royalties with the author.
