These folks don't communicate. They close accounts, won't tell you why, and won't pay you either. It took me hours to delete all affiliate links from my pages and nearly 100 articles. I've sent them multiple emails asking why I was removed since I followed all the rules and even have an email stating I was in compliance with Chewy. They have not sent any reply. I'm not surprised. Honestly, if you're a blogger don't waste your time with affiliates. Work directly with sponsors or sell your own products. That's the only way you'll make a penny. Keep as much control as possible.
They scam you into a long term contract, forcing you to pay monthly fees, with no support knowing that you will not get results.
Sent 2000 messages to their advertisers, didn't make any revenue.
Waste of time and money.
If there was a ZERO rating I would give them that but this is the most disgusting company with no ethics that I have dealt with. They deactivated my account without good reason and kept my $128 in commission.
What kind of fraud could I have done if I made only 128 dollars in commission?! Its ridiculous.
I even explained to them that some of my customers don't have international cards so on email I get request to purchase products for them so I made some sales on their behalf but the CJ.com team just won't listen.
Affiliates stay away from this fraud company. They also don't release commission on time and always open an "investigation" before payouts are due.an excuse to steal your commission.
The management should be behind bars.
We are an affiliate marketing agency and we manage a portfolio of affiliate programs. CJ is by far the worst affiliate network we use. Here are some of the reasons: 1) technology is antiquated in comparison to other platforms such as Impact, 2) they make simple things difficult, that other platforms provide seamlessly, such as exporting affiliate contact list, 3) the user interface and dashboard is 10 years behind, 4) mobile integration capabilities are inferior, and 5) the staff is not technically knowledgeable or well trained and offer very little support.
I made some sales with a particular company and watched my clients when I sent the link. I thought maybe I did something wrong. Well. My buddy and a couple of people did the same and got paid. I was sure that I used the links correctly. Now here's where I started to get suspicious. I started tracking with a reputable link tracker and did different campaigns to make sure it was reliable and use this same company for all of my marketing clients. Well, lots of clicks, thousands for free offers, not only proved to me they completed the offer for my giveaway, well I got no sales. I'm hoping you guys didn't steal money from me like that. There are a lot of great companies on here that I would love to continue to promote but can't since they are only on CJ. Here's the deal, if these stores are getting all the traffic and sales they have no reason to complain. Why take advantage of people? Greed makes no sense.
Terrible company, just like the others, they deactivated my account with no warning due to invalid clicks and they referenced a domain name which is not even in use lol, bunch of fools. Use impact or go directly with the affiliate bypassing these turds at cj.
I stayed a month as an affiliate, it's a waste of time, because they just close your account and don't pay you! The proof I have is my account balance, they just didn't pay my commissions. It is a fraudulent company that deceives publishers!
I spent a lot of time and effort in building links and relationships with advertisers and my blog was just growing traffic albeit it was still small. I was just building links the right way and organically over time. They then closed my account without reason or explanation. Now, instead of using my time to create additional articles, I am reviewing my pages to ensure all the CJ links are removed.
Never wrote any reviews in my life. But it was this company that made me write a review and unfortunately negative. Believe me, I read every review below and they look like true.
They closed my account without explanation and without payout either.
People try: open an account, spend their money on promotion. Then their account is blocked and does not respond to any letters. And this is in the 21st century((
This is primarily not respect for their partners, but without respect they have no future.
The purpose of writing this review: I want people to not lose their time, money and nerves for this company. If I had previously read all the negativity in relation to this organization, I would have believed all of this and would not have collaborated with them. Work with those who pay you for your work.
P.S. And please, if any of you still failed with them, I ask you to spend a little time for writing your own review.
If you read this on 2021 or later - don't bother to even try to use this Affiliate Network. They close accounts for now reason, UI is slow and not friendly, tracking attribution of sales is bad (stealing your commisions), support pages does not work at all - they throw some misterious salesforce error. And so on. Keep away for your own good.
This is my first review in my entire life, beacuse i am feeling hurting, they eat my all commission they did not pay any $ to me, And Deactivate my account with no reason,
Please i am begging you dont wast time on cj network they are just thief
Adding to what others have said. CJ is fraud, scamming waste of time. They take your commissions and hide behind their legalese TOS agreement. In my opinion it's criminal behavior. At the very least... it's unethical.
They are owned by Conversant Media (https://www.conversantmedia.eu/solutions/affiliate-marketing-solutions).
Conversant Media is run by Epislon (https://www.epsilon.com/us).

They didn't make the $300 commission payment that has been waiting for about 2 months, and 3 days ago, they dropped half of the $300 payment from the balance without any explanation. I contacted to complain about this situation. And in return they closed my account and extorted my money.
The reason they closed my account was that it was "below the standards of my website". Standard scam CJ my honest business website has a 10x higher standard.
Don't work with CJ, don't let them steal your money.
CJ is remorseful, CJ is a swindler.
CJ is a SCAM! They beat me out of $680.00 worth of commissions an lied about sending it to me. They originally stated that a check was sent to my address which i never received. After calling Commission Junction several months to resolve this matter, a supervisor by the name of Ashley then lied again and said the funds were deposited into an account i no longer have open. These people are Scammers... Please stay away!
My company did business with them generating $17,000 in sales. They are two months behind with the payment and are refusing to pay. Stay away! Complete scam. I'm opening a lawsuit against this company.
I believe this is a scam and would advise avoiding. For the past few months I have been registering all my name cheap domain names through my own affiliate link on my website and not ONE of them has gone through as commission which pretty much reflects that Commission Junction is either a scam or the coding is no good. I will as a result not be using CJ.com an more. Sincerely Affiliate *******
I'm working for 5 months. When it's time for first payment, suddenly they vanished my account with $1300 in it without any proper reason. It's their trick for not to pay and did it with lots of people. So don't waste your time.
After working with other affiliate networks, I have to say that CJ is one of the worst. Their customer service is extremely unhelpful, rude, and slow to respond to urgent issues. They don't give direct contact emails, so affiliate managers are forced to contact the support team email and hope that they will respond in a timely manner. Their reporting capabilities are outdated as well as their platform and the style of their platform and what they can report on. I would not recommend this platform to any brand that is looking to build a successful affiliate campaign.
I have been using cj for some time. Lately some advertisers are deactivated while their links are being provided live to publishers by cj, that means no commissions for traffic drive via the advertiser's banners, text links, and/or other link types! Cj should immediately remove those links instead of asking publisher to do this without any prior notice. Looks like a scam!
I have been more than 10 years with CJ. In 2015 they closed my account, because of bad links. I lost all earned money, about 120 euro. After some months I opened again account. I gave them a second chance. In 2016 they removed me again. There are much better networks: Avantlink and Shareasale. Stay away from CJ!
Answer: Google have a no follow policy in place for CJ. They shouldn't damage your page rank, but there is the risk that they will deactivate your account for no apparent reason (very common over the course of 2016).
Answer: I would be concerned. They terminated my account but thankfully it was just one sale. I put a banner on a Facebook group page and a month later they disabled my account. I emailed asking why. And they said. "This removal is the result of promoting CJ advertisers using undisclosed promotional methods, which violates the CJ Publisher Service Agreement you agreed to follow." So theres no way to fix a mistake if there was one. Also, I knew I made a sale but it did not register in the cj dashboard. CJ support said it was on the seller's end. I think the tracking is on CJ's end and should have registered. My sales recognition was questionable. I would cash out and avoid CJ.com. The littlest mistake if it was a mistake is unforgivable.
Answer: Ouch, that's a hefty sum. Get in touch with them directly and if you don't get a response, seek legal advice. Attempt to reactivate your account, visit your reports and then obtain as many screenshots as possible to confirm that you had the balance present. This will be your proof and leverage, so be sure to get as much evidence as possible. Unfortunately, this seems to happen far more frequently with CJ than one would expect from a company of this stature. Best of luck
Answer: Just to answer your concern - CJ have been known to scam account holders, but not by charging a fee. A fee will only be charged if there is money in the account balance. When it reaches 0.00, no fee will be charged. They have been known to charge fees at random however (I experienced this myself). They are also in the habit of deactivating accounts for no apparent reason, regardless of how large the balance in the account is. My advice - avoid them as the reviews on this website say. Better options are ClickBank and Amazon Affiliates.
Answer: Id avoid Commission Junction. There were times I knew I made a sale and it didn't register. I contacted them but they passed the buck to the seller. You may violate their agreement and they will close your account down like they did me. It would be nice to make side money but not through cj.com.
