CJ is horrible, they will find a reason to disable your account right before payment unless you are a huge website. Since you are a "little guy" there is noting you can do and they never intended on paying you for your traffic in the first place. Shame there is not some legal action that can be taken
I've been advertising for these people for months. (4) I began questioning how why I haven't made any commissions. So someone told me they needed a loan and they have bad credit. The person got the bad credit loan and CJ isn't going to pay the $105 for the lead. I wonder how much they really kept. Do not work with these people.
I tried CJ.com because Google and Facebook advertisement is getting worse and worse in their restrictions. I paid a fee of 1500 Euro per month so they find advertisers for me.
After 3 month I didn't have any real advertisers yet and not one sale on my site. Some days I had 200 registration for day but 90% deinstalled the app immediate after registration. The deal is for 6 month but i will stop pay now as I don't want to spend another 4500 Euro for nothing.
One of the better networks for commissions. Payments are reliable, but their commission rates are not the best. Sometimes you can negotiate better rates directly with merchants.
On time payments, easy to navigate website, great opportunities for big and small websites, and a large variety of companies to work with. Definitely recommend any one wanting to get into affiliate marketing to try cj.com out. Been using this for about a year now and having a great experience so far! =)
First, most of their advertisers charge more than competitors. So you don't get many people making purchases from placing the ads on your website.
Second, when I quit placing advertising of their advertisers on my pages and quit using CJ, they refused to pay me the money they owed me for the purchases that were made on their advertising.
Don't be as trusting as I was. Stay away from them.
We have been an affiliate with CJ for 15 years and have seen many changes over the years. Affiliates used to have individual CJ advisers who checked in monthly with newsletters of support and frequently sent personal emails. Fast forward to mid February, 2019 when we realized that our account had been disabled. No notice or reasons given. When we contacted support we were told we had violated their Terms. No details. When we asked for clarification, we were accused of something we had not done. Tried to explain but no response. The worst thing is the evaporation of all our data. We have no way of accessing anything in our account. We had been 5 tier earners for 15 years and this is what was done to us. I wonder who is making off with our account balance and all the account balances we have been reading about in the complaints.?
This is a site for web developers and site owners to use affiliate advertising through. They have a good number of name brand companies that use them to advertise. The way the site works is quite simple.
First you setup an account to receive payments from advertisers. Next you find advertisers who are offering a program through this site and you join that program. Then you the links and banners provided by the advertiser through CJ.com and put them on your site.
Some advertisers pay you for leads or click-through to their site. Others give you a commission of sales. This site is very comprehensive an a real industry standard. Plus if you want to use them for advertising then you can get a lot of targeted audiences. Great tool for web developers.
I've been using Commission Junction for a while and while it's definitely one of the largest affiliate marketing exchanges and there's a lot of value here for web publishers, it's way harder to use than it should be. To really get the most value you need to build up relationships with all the individual affiliates and it just isn't as efficient as it should be. It should work more like AdSense.
I have been with CJ for a few years. I literally did nothing new day to day. Then all of a sudden out of the blue I violated there terms and services some how and they closed my account. Wouldn't be so bad but they never paid me the balance I had. I reached out several times to find out what terms I violated to get nothing but crickets. Don't waste your time, you dont earn what they tell you and when you do the check "they mailed" never makes it. Such a bunch of clown shoes. Don't make my mistake and stay away from these losers. I would go on but have better things to do.
Hi everyone,
I ran a promotion for a month or two promoting London Eye on Commission Junction which I made commissions over £100. I have new been waiting a year since those sales were made for payment and every month they say London Eye have not paid. I am some what confused though as to why this company is still promoting and live on Commission Junction and why it is fine for me to do work promoting a company for them to choose not to pay for over a year. Its not exactly a small company either. Terrible service and will not use this network again after such treatment.
I've used almost all affiliate programs for years. Some good some not so. Truth is, you need to get a ton of targeted traffic to make any money with these 2 - 8% commissions. I give CJ a 1 star rating because I don't like having to reach $100 before they'll pay you. Now, They took my travel earnings during the COVID crisis with bans on travel. They say I didn't make money in 2020 and removed my earnings over the last couple years. Thieves!
Beware! They say they have FEES they have to use while I couldn't make travel money because of the COVID TRAVEL BANS. I have a direct affiliate program that pays me 30 - 40% commissions for Caribbean resorts. Contact me if you want to make real money by posting the Ads on your website or Social media. It is my #1 money maker. No obligations and you get paid on every sale with no wait time. Free to join and participate. Go at your own pace.

In our first day with CJ, we have 575 impressions and 28 click thrus. Before first day was over, CJ disabled the images in our banner ads. Went back into CJ that same first day and found CJ had changed ALL the image links, so I again updated ALL the image links for ALL our target markets. CJ immediately disabled those new image links as well. So we created our own image links, and tracked another 3,000 impressions in the next couple days. CJ reports 0 impressions and ZERO click thrus. ZERO stars is the CORRECT reviewer score for any HONEST review of their business practices. These other reviews claiming 5 stars are shills by a company who DOES IN FACT steal your commissions.
I have been in contact with CJ Junction for several months they Omie $870. They keep coming up with reasons why they can't pay me avoid the scamming operation at all cost.
I have also been an affiliate with Commission Junction and the only money I have made is $31 in over 4 years. Not worth the trouble. They have reputable companies but for some reason, I have never made any real money with this program. I have done affiliate marketing and advertising for over 15 years.
After 6 months making sales for them, they deactivated my account without notice. They never pay my commissions. When I called they said I did not mention I would use social media for sales. For me it is just a scam. I don't even have access anymore to show my sales.
Advertisising on CJ for years, my business is going down, CJ minimum fee is hard to reach so I pay extra fees every month. I try to negociate my minimum fee down but they require me to commit for 24 months. My visibility on the affilite channel reduced and 24 months is too long at the moment.
CJ is supposed to support my business, now they're just trying to take money out of me.
AVOID
I just made site from scratch using theirs products. A reason why they block me not enough sales. Give me a time guys to drive more traffic. Strange service! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Full scam does not pay had $ 17,000 to charge this month and for some reason I do not get that money generated, do not respond the message sent to you
Well, where do I start.
I've been signed up with Commission Junction for well over 2 years now.
My site is quite small and I've had sales that amounted to just under £9 GBP. After being inactive for a small amount of time, the CJ team decided to remove £7 from my balance.
I queried this and an advisor called Ashley politely offered to have the £7 refunded and the counter for the next fee reset. This was great news I thought. Until two months passed and there was still no sign of the refund. I was simply left with £1.82 in my account.
So, I got back in touch to query this, left it 24 hours, logged back in to find that my account had been deactivated, the remaining £1.82 in my account had been removed from my balance (and marked as a fee) and that my correspondence had been ignored.
The support team have ignored me since, I've taken the event to a host of online review sites and social media and it turns out that this happens often (I counted 53 similar experiences since January 2016).
My advice? Look elsewhere for an affiliate service. Unless you have tens of thousands of your local currency to dedicate to promoting your website, you simply won't make enough sales through this service to avoid the fees. One of the worst experiences I've had.
Answer: Google have a no follow policy in place for CJ. They shouldn't damage your page rank, but there is the risk that they will deactivate your account for no apparent reason (very common over the course of 2016).
Answer: I would be concerned. They terminated my account but thankfully it was just one sale. I put a banner on a Facebook group page and a month later they disabled my account. I emailed asking why. And they said. "This removal is the result of promoting CJ advertisers using undisclosed promotional methods, which violates the CJ Publisher Service Agreement you agreed to follow." So theres no way to fix a mistake if there was one. Also, I knew I made a sale but it did not register in the cj dashboard. CJ support said it was on the seller's end. I think the tracking is on CJ's end and should have registered. My sales recognition was questionable. I would cash out and avoid CJ.com. The littlest mistake if it was a mistake is unforgivable.
Answer: Ouch, that's a hefty sum. Get in touch with them directly and if you don't get a response, seek legal advice. Attempt to reactivate your account, visit your reports and then obtain as many screenshots as possible to confirm that you had the balance present. This will be your proof and leverage, so be sure to get as much evidence as possible. Unfortunately, this seems to happen far more frequently with CJ than one would expect from a company of this stature. Best of luck
Answer: Just to answer your concern - CJ have been known to scam account holders, but not by charging a fee. A fee will only be charged if there is money in the account balance. When it reaches 0.00, no fee will be charged. They have been known to charge fees at random however (I experienced this myself). They are also in the habit of deactivating accounts for no apparent reason, regardless of how large the balance in the account is. My advice - avoid them as the reviews on this website say. Better options are ClickBank and Amazon Affiliates.
Answer: Id avoid Commission Junction. There were times I knew I made a sale and it didn't register. I contacted them but they passed the buck to the seller. You may violate their agreement and they will close your account down like they did me. It would be nice to make side money but not through cj.com.
