Most of the surveys dont let you finish and even on the ones you do, they won't compensate you. Let's you do all the work and then tells you your answers aren't good enough. Only cashed out twice to paypal. One time took hours and the other I never received smh
You end up wasting time because halfway in you are disqualified and after getting to the minimum requirement to cash out you can't ID yourself without getting in a phone que and NEVER GETTING A CALL BACK. Scam
Most of the surveys are not a match and you don't find out until you're 10-15 minutes into it. They only give you 3 coins for the time that you wasted. They should know early on if you are not a match for the survey. I thought this was a good way to make some extra money, but it's just not worth it. Waste of time!
Legit, however 90% of surveys result in a disqualification with no explanation. No points are thus given and the disqualified result often appear after a full 15 + minute given survey. It appears that Thrifty pig does not screen surveys or require any kind of minimum standards. I would not recommend ThriftyPig.
Update- after spending hours and hours of dead end surveys with no reward and my last ridiculous 100 question survey that according to the email notice would take 11 minutes and no reward result….Im out!
I'm sure Thrifty Pig is compensated fairly by the surveys. Survey respondents are typically screwed.
Mary G's offer to look into a specific complaint is insufficient. She already knows the problems and complaints! There aren't any standards with this website! I'm done and you shouldn't waste your time unless you want to earn pennies per hour!
You can spend 10-20 min on each survey to find out that you not qualified. When I finally had enough coins to redeem they not let me do that and you can't erase your profile also. Don't waste your time, this site is trash!

I admit that thrifty pig does pay quickly. However, you can spend a lot of time doing surveys and completing them only to find that you have wasted your time. You can report this to support but they don't do anything about it.

I have been using thrifty pig for quite some time, but this time I received a used amazon gift card when I redeemed my points. I tried to redeem in 5 min after the email came, so not possible that somebody used it after I received it and NOBODY uses my gift card.
I sent an email to the customer service, but no response.

They give you a penny a point which is better than youll find anywhere and you only need to get to 5 dollars to cash out. Awesome website, except why is it I can spend 5 to 10 minutes answering questions on s survey then suddenly I don't qualify. If that was fixed, 5 stars for sure.
I admit when I joined this site I was skeptical it would be like all the others I've joined and hated BUT I was so wrong! This site is amazing. Gives me a chance to make some extra funds by gift cards at Amazon. Which I use for household etc. Big money saver in my pocket! And yes you make money on this site. I couldn't believe how fast I was earning doing surveys. And Mary is the sweetest lady ever! You will love her! She handles any problems you have fast! She's there for you to help with anything. I've had a few problems and she's been so nice to me and handled them all.
You seriously want to answer surveys honestly and earn real money on a good site... then hope you get invited to this one and accept! I feel blessed I got an invited!
I joined this site just a few months ago. At first, I wasn't sure if it because there was nothing else to do (like watch videos, do tasks or searches), only surveys. But with a low minimum cash out if $5.00, I gave it a try. I am VERY HAPPY I did. I have already cashed out a few times to my PayPal account with NO issues. They send you a code to your email account, enter it, redeem and in a few hours, or sooner, your money is in your PayPal account. They do NOT take out a processing fee like some other sites do. Give this site a chance. It really does pay.
Not only do you spend 15-20 minutes on a survey, it'll often loop several times with the same questions before moving forward. Then, it says "complete" only to promptly go to "DANG" you didn't earn anything. The last survey I took was so anti-police and pro-protest that I was horrified! That was my breaking point. I come to these survey sites to earn extra change in challenging times. 99.9% are neutral and screen their surveys to avoid a pull one way of the other. I have never in 10+ years of doing these sites had a survey just take a hard turn like that one. I don't care who/what you support keep it simple and not narrow-minded! We see and hear enough of it on tv! I asked once to be deleted, a very nice woman asked me to stay and give it another try. Well... I did and no, nope, nuh uh, forget it I'm out. You have a looooong way to go with this site. I wish you luck and the best.

This is a legit site, but they ask you questions that they need or want to know for the study and tell you that you aren't qualified so they dont have to pay you.
You already fill out some personal information for your profile that should filter out what you are and aren't qualified for, but no, they want to trick you and have you do the survey for free.
I'm pretty sure this could become a law suit.

I am new to Thrifty Pig. I love surveys, but I can tell you that of all the surveys I've been getting have mostly been from Simpilcio. This company gets your info but does not let you complete. It seems they find their way to all survey sites. They need to be banned. I went to their site to read reviews and I'm not the only one having the problem. I'm going to have to leave if I cant get other surveys. I hope it will get better. I'm not going to try to complete a survey once I see it's from Simpilcio.
For about one year now I am a member and I love working on the surveys while I drink my coffee in the peace of my cabin in the mountains. The secret is not to rush and answer truthfully to each question. I've also earned in my Paypal some cash and as a retire person this is a great reward for me while I share my knowledge with the surveys. The owner / Mary is been very positive to work with and in order to be a member here I had to receive an invitation, so I feel honored to be part of this business.

After spending 25 minutes on a survey, definitely collecting my personal information, I was informed I was not to be compensated. I wrote to them, responded quickly, but not willing to compensate me. Don't bother wit this site when there are many legitimate survey companies that value their participants.
I am a new member of Thrifty Pig. I earned my first level to redeem a gift card and decided to do so to be sure it actually worked. I had problems with it and contacted customer service. Unlike other sites of similar nature where I had to wait weeks, I received a solution within 24 hours. Mary was professional, kind, and prompt with a successful result. I highly recommend this fun way of taking surveys.
I must say I had some concerns and doubts initially but customer service is great if they called me in the mist of an issue I was having so they are very alert and this is a great

I was minding my own business when this site invited me by mail to become a member about 2 months ago. I accumulated some points for completing my profile and they supposedly offer a 5-dollar payout upon accumulating 500 points but this is far outweighed by the negatives. Most of the time I've spent taking their surveys, I have either ended up being disqualified or finishing a survey only to be rerouted to another survey.
Many weeks ago, I spent at least 20 minutes taking a survey before screening out. Finally, I just spent a long time taking a survey and completing it but not being credited for it and thus earning any points for my toil.
Each point you earn is worth 1 cent - and you only earn on surveys you qualify for. Too much of your info you must give up for too little in return. Pass
