This is one of my go-to online stores. Fashion forward clothes and great service! They offer free shipping both ways. Plus their customer service policies are fair and reasonable.


I placed an order for several items with this company the beginning of April this year and to date only received one of the items. I have spent months trying to get customer service to help resolve this issue with zero success. This company keeps telling me the same thing, to contact USPS about my package, which I did. The package was sent back to the company. At this point the right thing to do would be to either resend the shipment, refund or provide store credit. I have emailed and Facebook messaged the company several times. Nothing meaningful ever happens. And if this happens to you dont think you can dispute the charge with your credit card company because Behind Hemlines will state that the item is held up at customs... which gets them off the hook. This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. If you buy from here youre taking a big risk. Sadly even though their clothing is cute they cannot be trusted. Order 12310.


My husband and I both needed a new pillow so when I saw the Night pillow on sale through Haute I looked on the company's website and tried to find reviews for these pillows that normally cost $150 a pop! The reviews looked good plus the company entices you with the anti-anting angle. So I pulled the trigger, my husband and I both have one now (you will be shocked at the size of these pillows as they are pretty small). At first the pillows were great; comfortable and my hair looked better after waking. However now, two months later, these pillows... well... suck! Super flat with no support. Now I have to stack in on another pillow just to get enough support between my head and the bed. I think the black silk pillowcase is overrated too, one could simply buy a black silk pillowcase for a pillow that actually provided support. Even buying a set of these pillows for $215 rather than $275 was still pricey and now that the initial pizazz is gone... I have a pillow hangover and regret my decision. Sad to realize that I can still be fooled by marketing hype. Boohoo! Caution advised!


I shop here on Overstock frequently because they offer good products/value and the customer service is great. If you have to return something they make it pretty painless to do so. Great place to find area rugs. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to find what I am looking for because of the sheer amount of products the carry and the search function of the website seems a little wonky sometimes.


Nothing fits right, nothing looks like the picture. You'll NEVER be able to return anything. If you use PayPal (thinking you are protected)... good luck with that too.

I wish I would have thought to look at sitejabber before I purchased from this company (BTW - the same as Rosegal). They lure you in with nice looking, cheap clothing... If you buy from them you WILL learn the hard way like I did. What you get is not what you see and good luck returning it - will not happen. You might as well throw your money down the toilet because that's what you'll want to do with ALL the items you receive. PLEASE DO NOT BUY! Don't learn the hard way!

I was looking for fabric to make black out shades for our bedroom. I found the Cobbler Way Blackout which was $37.50 a yard. After I received the fabric and dove into my project more I needed more fabric. When I went to re-order I was told that the fabric was out now. OMG I thought but luckily I was informed there may be another fabric (Tonga Ebony) that is similar enough to what I previously ordered and it was only $12.95 a yard. When I received the new fabric it was EXACTLY the same as the $37.50 fabric. Had I seen the same fabric before when I originally bought I certainly would have gone for the less expensive option. The less expensive fabric did not show up in my search. I emailed and called to see if they would be willing to adjust the first order to a more reasonable price. No such luck, I was "lucky" that I was able to get the same fabric. This company has marginal customer service at best. I will not be shopping with them again. There are too many other online fabric stores that allow for returns and customer satisfaction is a priority.


I purchased a City deal for Beatnik Foods. Even with a deal the food was expensive! However, because it was organic and grass fed meat I was willing to this company out. Sadly, I was very disappointed with the quality of the meat products. The red meet was super tough and not flavorful. I was VERY careful to cook them properly, especially because of the price. One of the chicken breast arrive with a tear in the plastic packaging. The container of barbeque sauce was slightly bigger than a condiment package you get a restaurants. I was so disappointed that I called their customer service line to express my feelings. They appeared shocked, as though I was the first unsatisfied customer. However, I looked around for reviews on Beatnik and I certainly was not the first... probably not the last either. Anyhow, the company gave me a $50 "credit" so I decided I would try to find some items we could use. The problem was is that the credit is set up so that the more you spend the cheaper the shipping. Even with using the $50 all towards food the shipping was around $17. If I only ordered 1 or 2 items the shipping got up to around $39... crazy. I decided to cut my losses and not buy from them again.


The quality is so-so, but I guess that is to be expected with the price. I've had some balling up on some pieces. The sizing is not consistent. I am still trying to find a brand to replace Lululemon... this isn't the one.

The most frustrating however is that all the items I wanted are out-of-stock! Not good! :(
