If you have a complaint on a business whether it is online or not, you can go to this website and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

In addition to posting here, which I fully encourage, check out this site. I had a business screw me over once and I contacted them and filed a complaint and I not only got my money back, I got an apology as well. They send correspondence to the business and they're pretty effective.

You can check out a business as well as blog on the consumer blog. Sometimes you gotta get tough and the BBB has been around a long time. Don't settle for noncompliance. Learn how to protect yourself and your rights as a consumer.

I always recommend sitejammer and the BBB to anyone I know who has been badly treated or scammed by a business. Hit em where it hurts, guys.

Some of you might remember the old Bud Lite Real Men of Genius radio ads that Budweiser ran a few years ago. They were also called Real American Heroes.
These were some of the funniest radio ads I've ever heard. I always got a good laugh out of them.

It's Bud Lite Radio. Just scroll down a bit and you can listen to the ads. Always good fun.

For this particular one, copy n paste this link so you don't have to search for it on the site.

Okay, the name is a little funny sounding but if you're into Motorcycles and forums, this is the place for you.

My boyfriend has been on this site for years and there are some great people on there and the forum is very active. He loves it. The people are pretty funny and sometimes a bit risque and they offer advice on motorcycle maintenance and problem solving on everything from mechanical problems to where you can find a hard to find part. If you have any questions, the members are always willing to help you find the answer and there are some real characters on there, lol. The site owners closely monitor and interact with the members and are very attentive to their members concerns and suggestions.

They've even got trip trackers and maps you can fill in for the places you've been and a lot of the members actually get together at times for long rides, trips and general socializing.

It doesn't matter if you ride a Harley or a Suzuki, all are welcome there. In fact, you don't even have to have a motorcycle to join. You'll be accepted either way. Stop by and have a look at some of the posts and you just might like it well enough to join.

Come on, admit it! We all like a good ghost story, don't we? I know I do. This website offers supposedly true ghost stories, Ouija board stories and just about anything paranormal including links for EVP's. It's got a good sized forum where you can talk about scary stuff or normal chatter.

I like this site because whether you're a believer or not, you can read the blogs and discuss them with each other and they have some rather interesting topics. Like today, they had a blog on Debunking the Bermuda Triangle. There's several categories to check out so if you've got some time to kill, stop in and take a look. You might enjoy it.

For anyone who wants to check out the news in Houston, Texas, this is a pretty good website to do it.

You can also friend people, post pictures, send messages and comment on the news stories. I've seen some pretty good debates going on there as well as the occasional spat but you meet some interesting people and it can be a lot of fun. It also covers the national news and things like that as well.

If you want to hide your IP and protect your identity while online shopping or surfing, this is a really good service.

You get a free trial and if you like the service, it's just $9.95 a month. I have it and I've been very happy with it and the customer service so far. I've had it for about 3 months and I've had no problems with it at all.

A lot of people use this service if they've been banned from websites too because most sites will ban you by your username, email address and IP address. I've got some friends that use this just for that. (They didn't really deserve to be banned, it was a result of the Boji's on clickondetroit but that's a whole other story, lol.)

Anyway, this is a great service so take a look and see if it can help you surf a little safer online.

This is one of those companies that supposedly is like an insurance policy if you have problems with your internet service and covering all equipment and technician visits, blah, blah, blah. They claim to be affiliated with companies like Verizon and Comcast.

My sister signed up for our cable, internet and phone service and supposedly she opted for this "insurance" in case we have problems. They claim to cover computer tune up, virus removal and all that too. Anyway. I noticed on my sister's account that they billed her credit card twice in one month and I asked them why and they said "Oh, we must have let her skip a month" and she'd never asked for that to happen! So they must have done this several times over the year and had to refund her money. Refund or not this company cannot get their billing straight and they said "Oh, the system does that sometimes" and I said "That's unacceptable! You don't bill customers twice in one month without telling them and any transaction out of the ordinary should be discussed with the customer prior to taking place.

Stay away from this company! I've seen other complaint's on the web about them. Also Comcast told me they don't even know who they are and that the insurance through Comcast is only $2.99.

WARNING! DO NOT EVEN CLICK ON THE LINK FOR THIS WEBSITE!

I was looking for some online recipes using Hillshire Farms Sausage and I clicked on this website and the minute it loaded, it downloaded a TROJAN VIRUS. Luckily, my antivirus software caught it. Stay away from this site!

Also this site is listed in the google search as (molecontroller.co.uk/joomla/?koi=Hillshire-farms-recipe) AGAIN DO NOT GO TO THESE SITES!

I've reported the site to google safe browsing.

For those of you that live in or around Montgomer County, Texas, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department has launched a database for anyone that wants to check on someone or just to be made aware of sex offenders registered within the county.

It never hurts to be in the know especially when it comes to our children and their safety.

This website is really helpful for people that are wanting to get in shape and to help you with choosing the right foods, exercises and equipment.

As I stated in an earlier review, there are no magic pills to help you lose weight and tone up. Only a healthy diet and exercise routine can produce these results.

This site can help you with exercise and diet goals, calorie counters and suggestions on what you should be eating and what exercises you should be doing.

We all hate crunches but you know you've got to work those abs and do it in the proper way to see results. It's hard work but it's better than hosting that spare tire around your midsection isn't it? :)

Hi everyone. Stay away from this site. It's lead in is Mom's Ancient Diet Secret and it's an ad on Facebook.

My McAfee virus alert has reported serious problems with this site.

If you're looking to lose weight, a healthy diet and exercise program is the only thing for you or anyone else that's going to produce results. THERE ARE NO MAGIC PILLS!

I only went to this site because my friend got an alert and I checked it out. Better to just avoid it altogether. Don't even click on it or visit the website link for this one to check it out.

WARNING! Do NOT go to this website! It is a reported Attack Site!

I was looking for a coloring, paint by numbers site for my niece when I came across this one and when I clicked on the link, a huge red sign came up advising that it was a reported attack site.

If your children or grandchildren are surfing on the web and looking for activities for kids online, supervise them carefully and block this particular site with your parental controls if you can!

  • Just Energy

3/3/10

We have our electricity provided through Just Energy and they have a great website that's easy to navigate and you can pay your bills online and even set up your service.

We are on a steady payment plan where they give us a set rate each month to pay so there are no surprises. It's been very affordable for us and their customer service is very good and they are very friendly.

If you're looking for a new electricity provider, pay a visit to their site and they might be able to save you some money. We've been with them for more than a year and we've been very happy with their service.

Kudos to Frank C for his review of this site!

I went to it and downloaded the software and it worked like a charm! Thank you Frank! It's definitely cleaned up and cleared up some long time issues I've had with my computer. Great site! It was very fast too.

Heads up parents! If you've seen the show on MSNBC called To Catch A Predator, you'll see some familiar faces on this site.

Here you can read the sleazy emails these predators have sent thinking they're speaking with underage teens and their intent to meet up with them. You can also find out about their convictions and sentences.

It's a fairly simple site with few bells and whistles but they're not there for the look of their site. Most of these offenders were featured on the show. I personally love seeing the word "conviction" under their photos and I think most of you probably feel the same. This site is also good for parents to familiarize themselves with the predatory habits of these perverts and what to look out for when your teenager is online in those chat rooms and the like. Doesn't hurt to give it a little browse. You never know who you might find on there might just be your neighbor. The site has some good links as well to other sites dealing with this issue which could prove quite helpful for some of you in the long run.

Oh, and there emails on there from convicted predators because the people that run the site and volunteers pose as teenagers and they are doing their part to protect the kids out there and to get these pervs locked up. You can also volunteer to help in several ways.

I could not believe it when I saw Zoe who apparently either owns this business or works for them was spamming on sites like The Make-a-Wish Foundation and other sites designed in support of our military troops.

She's been spamming all over Facebook in the most inappropriate places. I mean, Make-A-Wish Foundation? A page in support of terminally ill children of all things?

I personally wouldn't buy anything from this site in protest of their inappropriate spamming practices.

  • Dale and Thomas Popcorn

5/21/10

I've used this site quite a few times for gifts and I order the gourmet popcorn on occasion. I would order it much more often but I want to keep my weight right where it's at and it's hard to put this stuff down!

I've tried many of their popcorns and I have not been disappointed even once. Their service was wonderful and everything I've ever ordered was delivered promptly and in great condition. This is just an all around great website that's been around for quite some time and the popcorn is sooooo good. They even have a sampler you can order and let me tell you, the chocolate drizzled popcorn is heavenly and even though it sounded a bit weird to me, I tried the peanut butter popcorn and it was really good! It's very easy to get hooked on this site and it's product!

THIS SITE HAS A TROJAN VIRUS!

I was doing some Genealogy research just now and looking up some history on a family member who fought in WWII and went to this site and my virus software caught and quarantined a Trojan Virus!

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GO TO THIS WEBSITE!

  • Thebetterfish

Earlier I posted for another site called Special Kitchen where I mentioned the Barramundi Fish that is so popular in Australia.

Someone asked where they could buy this wonderful, healthy fish so I've posted this review with the link to the only company that sells the fish here in the US. It has a state guide and even recipes for cooking the fish as well. Pretty good site.

  • Special Magic Kitchen

If you haven't tried this Barramundi fish from Australia yet, take a look at the review on this site.

It tells you all about this particular fish and other foods as well as offering grilling tips, how to pick the best fish and it covers other food categories as well.

I'm particularly fond of this particular fish because it's high in Omega 3 fatty acids and it's just a great white fish to serve and it's versatile as well. I like it best grilled. I had some in Australia and it's very good.

This site offers some very good articles on many different things like even the best kind of yeast to use for baking, so if you get a chance, check it out.
