I have always found learning computer languages hard. Most will. But this site makes learning JavaScript so much easier and it's really fun. This site is so easy to understand that a computer newbie should be able to understand it. I've bookmarked this site. Its well worth a look at for those interested.

Don't use at all! I had a very bad experience with this VPN.
Just after installing this, I noticed HotSpotShield contains malicious software, and a browser exploit. I suppose I better change all my passwords, too!

This is an interesting website.
I did a Google Search on a homepage to replace iGoogle.
I wanted something with feeds, something that would let me customize settings and have many app's. Well this one won big time over iGoogle. Its fantastic, and a highly recommended site.

I am disgusted with this website after discovering a horrible, and sick video that I believe is illegal to even film, yet publish this on a site for the world (and even children to see). I don't want to give the direct link to the video, but the video contained a close encounter of a real man blowing up after he had a bomb attached to his neck (like the one currently happening in Sydney, Australia). The site is also taking self-credit, and most videos are plagiarised. I find nothing funny about a man been killed due to an explosive device.

This is a great site! It has thousands of resumes that people have submitted. It has resumes from various backgrounds, levels and countries. It will no doubt give you some more ideas for your resume.

Do you want to learn a new language? Do you want to meet people in different cultures? This is a social network devoted specifically to languages. It really is a great community and its active.
Gmail

I love Gmail! I have used this email service for around two to three years without problems. I love the new Gmail design, I love how it offers fantastic security measures and most of all how everything is connected.

Google has improved in regards to design over the years, but over the past several months Gmail and Google have improved quiet significantly.

Gmail, along with all their other services now support two-step authentication. For example, depending on how important your account is to you, you can enable a verification code to be send to your phone each time you login through a different computer or browser. This then means you have to enter your password AND enter a code sent to your phone. This step is a fantastic Google, Inc. Initiative.

Does logging into several accounts each day become annoying? Do you prefer managing all your data in one central place? Then Gmail is a great start. For one, logging into Gmail will also give you access to he Google Calender, CRM, YouTube, Bookmarks, photos, documents, and so much more! In addition to this, with Google, you can connect your account with other services. For example, you sign into Google and you have connected your account with Zoho, then you can access their site at the same time.
Nitro PDF Reader

NitroReader is a great alternative to Adobe PDF viewer. NitroReader is fast, safe and comes with many options that Adobe itself doesn't offer. It comes in both a free, and paid version. Best part of all - its not going to cost a fortune like Adobe does.
StartMenu7

StartMenu7 is a wicked small piece of software that increases the appearance and improves the Start Menu navigation experience. It comes in two versions, one free and one paid, but are both overall pretty good. The one downside to it is that it will be a little slower than the regular Start Menu, but not by much.
Mashable

Mashable takes too long to load, it causes both my Firefox and Google Chrome too crash and Adobe Flash doesn't seem to like the website, either as that crashed several times when on the site.
ExactTarget

ExactTarget

ExactTarget engages in spamming activities. I have received several emails from various companies which I have never given out my email address to. In each email they pretend to be someone else (a different company), but the one thing they all have in common is a small link on the bottom saying Privacy Policy, which all take me to this website.

Hacking Group Anonymous has decided to set up their very own social network that will be open to the public in the future. The site at the moment is in development, but I do suggest that when they open that you don't register. Its obvious that privacy and security will be a big concern with this website as black hat hackers cannot be trusted. More information regarding Anonymous can be found here on Wikipedia: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Anonymous_%28group%29

I found a review on this site on a blog a couple months back, so thought I would give one of their downloads a go. So I installed SlimDrivers - after installing the product, it prompted me to create an account with them (which made me suspicious at first), but it was well worth it in the end. SlimDrivers is free and saves time. It found 26 driver updates for my computer and it gave me a link to click to update my drivers - was that easy. In the end - it really does save you time searching the net to find out if your drivers have updates.

Primadesk: Do you want to backup your cloud? Well sign onto this site and backup Yahoo, Facebook, Dropbox, Google and more. The site is safe and is trusted by both VeriSign & TRUSTe. The site supports AES-256bit encryption.

In addition to changing our passwords often, we need to make sure that our passwords aren't stolen and published on the world wide web. Everyone must accept in the modern world, you have a risk of been hacked. Hacking is a fact of life - and even though we cannot prevent it entirely - we can reduce the risk.

An additional way to keep your account safe is to use this tool. It will check its databases to see whether your email and password has been published to the world. It won't scan every database, but it will scan the popular ones like the LulzSec and Anonymous hackers databases.

This site is trustworthy - it will not store your email address. Media organisations such as the New York Times, CBC News, ComputerWorld, and more have endorsed this site. Site is encrypted so no one can eavesdrop.

Site has approx. 1 million records on its database.

I love ScreenPresso! Its a simple, easy-to-use screen shot program. It lets you choose the focus area, then you do some simple edits like cropping to narrow it down to what you really want, then you're done! It turns out with almost perfect picture quality, and when capturing words, its easy to read.

Caution: installing Incredimail could expose you to adware or malware. Despite this site containing a verified TRUSTe Seal, McAfee Seal and been a Microsoft Certified Partner - many are claiming this site is dangerous. The WOT community, overall, has given the site a "satisfactory" rating, however, the past 5 pages have comment after comment with a 'bad rating', saying that the site contains "Adware, Malware, annoying pop ups and more". The Norton Safe Web Community have given the site a 3.6 rating, but have confirmed a presence of malware also.

Site is safe, most downloads are OK. Norton at one stage did rate the site as bad, and said it contained malicious software. However - this is not the case now and Norton has given the green sign. Like all sites - there are security risks, thus I recommend exercising caution. Reading the reviews on each download before you install them might be a good first step.
SourceForge

SourceForge.net is a fantastic open source download site. The site has something for everyone, with almost 300,000 free programs. Can't complain nothing is free anymore! I have found some of the best downloads from this site such as Eraser, TrueCrypt, OpenVPN & TOR.
