WONDERFUL product... the first time I have gotten a healthy plant in the mail. Other companies send plants that look almost dead or dying and then die off BUT this was a beautifully appointed plant that is thriving and my Beta fish just adores it.

Reason I chose this business:

I have deleted my account taken all my credit cards away from this bad company yet they still email me about a package they think was delivered that never arrived. Do not give this company your information… they abuse the access to all your accounts and then will not delete your account

Tip for consumers:
This site is not trustworthy

Shutterstock is NOT user-friendly. They are a scam artist company who have set up their business to scam people into what they call "subscription plans" that cannot be canceled unless you pay extortion fees. I got wrangled into a year subscription and then as my year started to wane was bombarded by emails stating I needed to change my plan to a corporate plan and pay them more money. LOL, I use my stock images on my dog's Instagram... what kind of corporation is that? My dog has no 401K, nor has my dog ever earned me any money. Perhaps my dog is an undercover agent who is working for Shutterstock on the side... are they giving my dog extra treats to extort money from me? Anyhow, my contract is coming up and I do plan on canceling... of course they will not cancel my "auto-renewal"... I have to do that... their plan is if I do not do it to handcuff me into another year of payouts. Does this sound like the photo mafia to anyone else? Lesson learned... if you want stock images, find a more reputable company like Adobe or Getty to deal with. They do not bleed creatives dry. Shutterstock you should be ashamed of your scam policies. EXTORTION: the practice of obtaining something, especially money, through force or threats.

SCAM SCAM SCAM:

My name is (fill in the blank I received 5 of these from 5 different people) and I am your new Licensing Solutions Manager here at Shutterstock. I wanted to reach out on behalf of my team to review your current account and license.

We've noticed that your business/organization is utilizing the images from a personal account and is not registered with us under a Business Agreement/Business License. Currently, you're set up with a single user personal license which means there is only one person allowed to utilize and is responsible for downloading/working with the copyrighted material under their name/assets.

We're concerned that your license isn't covering your business and the unregistered/unauthorized people that may be accessing this type of license.

I look forward to discussing this with you because there are some irregularities that need attention as soon as possible to avoid issues with the current terms of service. We have been receiving alerts due to multiple user sessions and we're concerned about getting the right license and protection for you and your company.

Could you help me better understand the workflow, image use, and team size?

1) How images are used (i. E., ALL anything that looks like a web or print, packaging, billboards, merchandise, etc.)

2) What's your current Sworkflow (number / roles of people who work on images on your company's behalf)?

3) How many images (and/or video clips) do you think your business will need for upcoming projects within the next 12 months?

I look forward to working with you to make sure you are properly covered for your needs.

I like browsing the pages of WebMD, it has helped me sort through many questions that my doctor either could not answer or thought I did not need to know the answers to. It helped me fire my doctor and find one that was a better fit.

As with all WWW platforms you must read everything with a grain of common sense because not everything written in the cloud is a silver lining. But as a go to place to seek information this is one of the better places on the internet road of knowledge.

I have been buying images from Getty Images for years. (I have used GettyImages.com, 123rf.com and istockphoto.com which are all Getty Image owned sites) I have spent thousands of dollars over the many years I have been a customer. I decided to use istockphoto as a monthly subscription service for $149./month and started my subscription on the 22nd of August. I used all my images for the month looking forward to starting again in September. To my surprise my subscription would not renew until the end of the month. I tried to contact customer service to change my billing date. Sounds easy right? WRONG. I was told that the ONLY way to do this would be to cancel the subscription and start again OCTOBER 1st. If I were to tell my clients... so sorry you will need to wait a month and a half before I can accommodate your needs I would be FIRED. Since when did customer service become a cut and paste no answer job. SIGN ME UP I want to tell people I can't help them when they want to spend money too.

LOL this dealership is looking to remove bad reviews online. I uploaded all my grievances with a site named SiteJabber and it was removed so let me describe why sunset ford only thinks about their bottom line and does not care about the consumer who is purchasing the vehicle.

1. I purchased the car after doing research online. The FORD online person who I had no idea worked for Sunset Ford demanded that I come in and test drive the car when they were working. I have my own schedule and did not want to test drive on their schedule so I put Ford in the last see category as their customer service left something to be desired. Who is the consumer? HELLO... it is my money and my decision when and where I test drive a vehicle. BUT Sunset Ford of North Hollywood wants to only work with you if you do it on their terms.

2. The person I did purchase the vehicle from when I was available to test drive the car was wonderful but Sunset Ford of North Hollywood "GAVE THE SALE" to the online person who was rude and not consumer friendly.

3. Sealing the deal. The car was red and had no paint sealant (clear coat) I wanted that coat so that the car was protected. It was added into my contract.

4. After the sealant was added I went to pick up the car and noticed dings/paint chips in the car hood area and demanded that they fix this problem that happened when they added the sealant. The company was not wanting to do this until I stated that I was willing to walk away from the sale.

5. OPPS Sunset Ford of North Hollywood gave my keys to another client by mistake. HELLO... if you can't even trust the car dealership to keep track of who owns a car or who's keys they have who can you trust.

6. LONG WAITS and PROBLEMS taking your car in for service. Once I took my car in for a regular "oil change" and waited and waited and WAITED. After waiting for hours and hours in the waiting room I went to ask about my car. It took 8 hours to get my car, did they loose it or just forget about it? I was told that the service person had gone home. HELLO... Sunset Ford of North Hollywood do you not log in your cars that are there for service?

7. My last car service for it's 30K I was waiting and my phone rang. It was Sunset Ford of North Hollywood... they asked if I was the owner of the car in service and stated that they and their manager had looked at my car... Did they want to tell me something about my car? Perhaps they had the part that was recalled that as the recall stated could cause decapitation (the driver side air bag) BUT NO Sunset Ford of North Hollywood was all about their bottom line. THEY wanted me to sell them back the car and but a new one. HELLO... I was there to service my car NOT SELL IT. I asked them to NOT CALL unless they had the recalled part.

8. The very next day... Why it is the sales force calling again... HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED TO BE TOLD I am not selling. Do you know what customer service is? I think not. If you want to buy a Ford buy one from another dealership that actually will care about you and not just their bottom line.

  • Apple

Apple has always designed its products for the user's sense of design and functionality. We do admit since the passing of Steve Jobs there is a lack of freshness but the website still is as shiny and sweet as the name suggests.

Recently while ordering the new iPhone 6s I was reminded of how user friendly the site is. Not only did I buy my shiny new toy, but added on suggested wants. Apple you get more than an A plus, you make shopping personalized fun.

DO NOT EVEN TRY IT unless you want to wait for the mistake to grow out or go into your hairdresser with your tail between your legs or rather head in a bag of shame.

The premise all sounds too good to be true which should have been a big tip off right from the start.

The company requests a photo so that they can match your color. What you say? If I wanted my hair color why on earth would I be dying it? Ok marketing mistake #1 they don't really use professional hair consultants to formulate you color but rather calculate your color from a flat image. What do you get from a flat image... You guessed it... FLAT DULL DYE.

Save your dollars and go with something more trustworthy. BAD product unless you are going for that dead head look with no highlights.

  • Nordstroom

The employees are very polite and professional and go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you're looking for. They also don't hover over you and ask if you need help a billion times. (this only goes for the GroveLA... the Nordstrom at the Glendale Galleria is way too pushy.

  • Keurig

After just 1 and a half weeks it stopped working. When it did work it made sounds like it was constipated. Gurgle gurgle groan... push out that water!

Buy a different brand, Keurig doesn't care what they push out. I have never owned such a frustrating poor quality product! Perhaps they are trying to break people's coffee habits by selling such cheap and poorly engineered products.

I need a cup of coffee... oh wait my new Keurig 2.0 coffee maker doesn't work! Starbucks here I come!

  • Grubhub

EAT24 often gets your order WRONG. You wait for a delivery for 2 only to get food for 1. Then you contact them via their APP and guess what... NO ONE answers. You keep typing and still NOTHING, perhaps their unicorns are busy in outer space.

The other problem they have is TIMELY delivery. So if you want cold food, bad service, late delivery with NO communication... this is the APP for you. And no cute little messages about unicorns, spaceships and rainbows will ever make up for that.
