I had been shopping on Zulily website for years. I had not disappoint with any of my orders yet. Most of the dresses & other brand name items I had purchased were on sale. So far I am very please with all my purchases.
They canceled an order they couldn't supply... gave me a partial credit to my card & rest in a store credit! They can keep their credit... would never order from them again! Worse company ever! Wish I had read reviews before I delt with them Biggest CHEATS EVER! Can NOT even give it 1 star
I used to love this company but the last 2 experiances I have had turned me off to them. I was sent an eamil that they could not deliver the shoes I ordered so they sent me a $10 credit. Reluctantly I used the credit only to be emailed AGAIN that they cancelled THIS ORDER becuase it could not be delivered. I will not waste my time again trying to use their $10 credit. They should be more concerned about not being able to fulfil orders.
I've ordered both clothes and also a shower curtain. Shower curtain was just fine, the clothes were HIDEOUS. Teeny tiny and nothing like the cool stuff shown in the pictures. I've since learned that any site that cuts off the heads of the pictures of the models is most likely stealing that picture from another site, then trying to recreate the clothes once you order. That's why it takes so dang long to get anything. But unfortunately the seamstresses in China can't sew a straight line. BUYER OF CLOTHES... BEWARE...
This site is really hit or miss. I bought a few pairs of shoes by a brand I can never afford to buy from directly, the shoes were ridiculously cheap on Zulily. They arrived in good shape and I've had no problems with them! Plus shipping was crazy fast, so I'm pleased with that. One pair of shoes wasn't the colour pictured (not Zulily's fault, straight from the brand's website) I notified Zulily, their Canadian Costumer Service Rep was phenomenal and very personable. I'm now waiting on two separate orders to come in, they are also reputable brands at amazing prices.
That being said! There are tons of cheap crap products littered all over the Zulily website. Zulily slaps elegant sounding made up brand names onto what is otherwise cheap inventory from sites like Alibaba and DHGate. These are usually easy to spot (they tend to use Asian models), but if you're ever uncertain about what you're purchasing, just right click the product photo and conduct a Google Image Search. If you find the product blasted all over cheap overseas websites, you can pretty much guarantee that's who the real vendor is. This explains why so many people have received ill fitting, poor quality products. Sites like Wayfair are similar, they use these cheap products to bulk up inventory while they wait for more trustworthy brands to liquidate their overstock, these sites are by definition, overstock sites, meaning the good products are usually "last season's" styles. Once you learn how to navigate Zulily, what to look out for and what to avoid, the shopping experience is pretty good. My only major beef is that the Americans tend to get more selection than we do here in Canada, I know this because I only get the American sales flyer by email, and annoyingly when I open it up I have to manually switch the currency and refresh the page, which is when I notice the difference in available products.

I placed an order for tomorrow at tops which should have arrived prior to my vacation. The shipment didn't arrive until 2 days after I left. Upon return from my vacation I tried on the tops. Even though I ordered the same size as I normally did the tops were to small. It is unfair that I should have to pay for returns especially since I had paid an exorbitant price for delivery for late items. I won't be using Zulily any more. I can get free shipping with Amazon.

I called and they said the items were out of stock. Duh! Why couldn't they have contacted me with that info. This time I'm done and will never order from them again. Never ever period DONE
Really read the fine print and follow directions carefully on returns. I returned much more then I was credited for. I will no longer be shopping Zulily.
My review is on how they treat employees. My boyfriend worked for them up until today when he went in for his check and they told him that the clock out machine messed up and they couldn't pay him for the hours he already worked last week! So now I am going on every platform until they contact me back, after leaving 3 or 4 voicemails with customer service, corporate, and HR! Channel 6 on your side is next!
My first order. They charged me twice. I called, they said to text a copy of credit card and they would refund. 20 texts and 4 reps later they still couldn't figure out what the problem was (althought it was repeated 4 times, sent 4 times etc). The phone rep found the account and the problem but wouldn't solve it, instead told me I HAD TO TEXT services. Still no refund. Lots of companies sell their products! Try those!

I purchase two blazer and 1 pair of booties. I made sure they were if I didn't like them I could return the item. The quality of the of the jacket were horrible nothing like the picture, it looked like something you would fine in a second hand store. I returned all of the item the next day. Zulily said they didn't received the items in time and kept my $120.00. I will now go to ACB 7 on your side to try and get my money back. I will never purchase items from them again and will definitely let everyone know not to buy anything from them. Very dissatisfied with this company.
I've bought quite a few things from Zulily, but won't anymore. Fabric is cheap, sizing is all over the map, colors in photos aren't correct. The capper was a bed comforter that was totally different than ordered. Then if you return anything you end up paying shipping both ways ($9 twice) to end up with nothing. I'd say I've been satisfied about 20% of the time. Never again.

Ordered 2 summer sweaters $32.04. Received and size was to small. Returned using Zully label that was 46 days ago. Had to inquire many times about return and credit. Today finally found I am only to receive $16. And change. The sweaters did not weigh even one pound

BAIT & SWITCH! Think China is bad. The item I received was nothing like the fancy photographs at all. Looking into returning and found the tricks that Zulily use with lack of ethics. Per return, Zulily jacked up part of shipping and handling which is not returnable to $8.95 not $5.99 like invoice said when it shipped to me. Merchandise toggled down to $2.95 which force you not to return when you only get back $2.95 instead of full payment. Amazon make so much money with little return due to they play no trick of selling crappy products disguised as good products. I live 5 mins drive to Zulliy, will not pay $8.99 for return. I smell Class action lawsuits are comming!

I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it.
