I love the bargains that Zulily brings to retail, but their shipping policies are ridiculous. The shipping costs are too high, and it takes too long to get a lot of items. Sometimes (more often that should be) things come with the wrong number or not a complete order. Sometimes I would like to order something, but by the time I spend the money on shipping, it no longer saves me money.
Never received the order. Called them up after 2.5 weeks and they couldn't explain why my order was missing. They said they would refund my purchase but I only received a portion of the refund. So in my mind they stole my money! What a crocked company!
This was my second time in attempting a purchase from Zulily and both experiences were horrid! Unlike Amazon where I've always been happy with ever purchase over the past decade.

I've been a member for a long time now. I did most of my christmas shopping via Zulily. Great buys. However, lately has been very spotty. I've received items broken, poorly made and very low quality. Now I reserve my shopping at Zulily with brands I am familiar with only. I do a lot of price comparison with Amazon. Another thing is the amount of time it takes to receive an item. Sometimes I really do not mind the wait and understand how Zulily wants to "check" quality before shipping to me. Unfortunately, I still wonder what measure of quality is actually acceptable because I've received items broken, bent or not in the greatest shape. Another disappointment was buying tickets to Broadway. I paid for Orchestra but when we arrive at the theater they seated us in gallery... around a group of High schoolers! I had to fight this with Zulily who eventually refunded the difference. I often doubt renewing my membership.
I buy a lot from Zulily and some orders are great, and some are not! Sizing is iffy, too many things take too long to ship, and prices are not as good as they used to be. They give you free shipping when things are messed up, but put a time limit on it. Takes a long time to get your money back if an item doesn't ship or can't be filled. I hope things get better, or I won't be ordering as much. Some items are not made well. They need to really screen their vendors.
I haven't ordered more see-thru clothes since my previous review. I've liked most items that have since been ordered. The ones that didn't fit, I sent back for store credit.

I have had good and bad experiences with Zulily.
Bad:
1) Many of the clothes I ordered were NOT listed as see-through on the website and did not appear to be see-through from the pictures, but they are see-through. I am unsure what to wear under all of my see-through tops and dresses that I now own. To reiterate: this has been a common occurrence.
2) One of my items that I ordered (let's say, out of 20 items) never arrived. Instead of giving me a full refund (~$40 I think), I was only given a $10 store credit.
Good:
1) Many of the clothes I ordered are very unique and pretty
2) All of the clothes I ordered seem to be much cheaper than elsewhere and so even though I lost money on see-through items and one item that did not arrive, I still feel like, overall, I made some good purchases.
However, as you can see, Zulily is inconsistent and unreliable (and possibly dishonest for omitting information). So, I wouldn't really say it's a good business.

I love shopping Zulily. I gets so many ideas from their emails. The items I buy are 90% just what I wanted. If not, I return them if possible. I've had a few issues along the way but have always been content with the solution Zulily makes with me. (And sometimes I've learned not to buy that type of item from Zulily because it just doesn't work out!) Overall I'm very happy with shopping Zulily and recommend it to all my friends.
I used a coupon that was active when I checked out and after the order was processed it removed it automatically. When I contacted Zulily they did not care nor reimburse me, nor refund my order. They did not even try to fix the problem. I use to refer this site to people but no more. This is happened before to me on this site but no more that is not ok.

I can always find something I need and something I want when shopping but the best part is that since they have such great prices, I can get both! I have had good experiences with the shipping also, I realize it can take longer at times so I just prepare for that.
The only complaint I have for Zulily it takes far too long to receive the merchandise/product. I wish you could get the merchandise/product faster without having to pay extra. I wouldn't mind paying extra if you receive the merchandise/product in a 2-3-day turnaround instead of a 7-day turnaround which is a normal delivery time for most other companies without the extra cost. Zulily would not be my choice if I needed something for a special occasion because it takes entirely too long to receive though it has great prices. If they could fix this I would have more confidence in them.
I love Zulily for the great service and choices available. Cute kids clothes and quality too. I love the convenience as well.
I am simply amazed at the deals on Zuilily. Each time you log in, it is like a brand new shopping experience. The only negative is the $8.95 restocking fee they charge on returns. That's a bit steep IMO.
Zulily is idea for me because it offers things I want or need that are lower priced then retail. They have last chances also in case you missed you favs. Now some things are returnable it will say on each item whether it is or not.If in stock ships out quickly. You get quality brand name items too.
I love how each day there is a mix of categories to shop from. I find new things and familiar things. I consider it one of my high points to check out the categories each day.

I have been shopping at Zulily for years now. I'm in love with them. I have yet to order something that I have not loved or been happy with. I can think of one time when I ordered something that didn't fit. I contacted Zulily with my issue and instead of giving me a hard time or going back and forth, they told me to donate the item (which I did) and issued a refund. I will continue to shop there for years to come.
Zulily brings together a really eclectic collection of clothing on sale for great prices. It's hard to find a selection like this that's as easy to access. I also love how seamless it is to move from device to device with my choices. However, some of the products are cheaply made and there's no way to tell from a photo, especially for items that don't give full 360 views or close-ups. Returns are a joke; it's rarely worth it and I usually end up donating things that don't fit right or aren't what I expected. Shipping prices are high enough to offset the "sale" prices that look great when I click to buy an item, but often double when I add shipping. Between shipping and return costs, I think about buying from Zulily more than I end up doing it, sadly.

I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). Answer: Let me just put this out there. The people who bought things from Zulily (and are unhappy with their purchases), probably didn't research the brand before they bought it. Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it. I hope this helps.
