Not as pictured

This is the second pair of these frames I've ordered. The first pair was very cute. They looked like a blonde tortoise shell, very light and bright. I loved them! Unfortunately they blew out of the boat. This second pair just look like regular tortoise shell because there is so much dark color on them. I am very disappointed and hardly wear them. I'm a long time customer. I've ordered at least a dozen pairs of glasses. Never had anything but praise for them until recently.

Great Lens, Horrible Frames
May 10, 2021

I bought 2 pair of perscription eye glasses, both progressive lens. The perscription was 100% correct and the lens amazing, yet the frames were horrible. The frames resemble what you would get when you buy a cheap pair of shades from "Dollar Tree" for $1. These frames wouldn't last 30 days with continuous wear. What I'm saying is these frames are not designed for everyday wear, none of their frames have spring hinges or fit tightly. Everything is loose fitting and won't stay on your face. It's a shame to have such good lens and prices yet, horrible frames. Not for someone who wears glasses everyday...

Reorder frames

It was a quick and easy process placing my order. I liked the first pair of frames that I got 4 years ago and noticed they were still an option now so I chose them again with a new prescription. Extremely satisfied all the way around and would definitely recommend Zenny to others looking for frames, as I have in the past and will continue to do in the future.

I've always gotten my prescription glasses from an optical shop, and I will continue to do so. The glasses I got from Zenni were terrible quality -- blurry, like they weren't even my prescription. Second, their blue blocking lenses which they claim on their site are among the clearest on the market, are actually an ugly yellow/green tint. So I got poor quality glasses that didn't correct my vision, plus lenses with an ugly, yellow/green highly visible tint to them. Customer service was terrible on this issue. They want to exchange, which doesn't help with QUALITY. It's not about the frames policy, it's that the lenses are garbage.

We wish to confirm that as a result of the blue light blocking technology that is built into the lens material, a slight tint may be detected, particularly when the glasses are held in front of a white background; consequently, our Blokz lenses are described on our website as virtually clear. Nevertheless, we are sorry that the tint is darker than you expected, and we want you to know that customers are always welcome to take advantage of our return policy which allows for glasses to be returned for reasons other than a manufacturing error or defect, while the glasses are still under warranty, for one of two options - 50% refund to the credit card used to purchase the glasses, excluding the shipping fee, or 100% store credit, which also excludes the shipping fee, and can be used to purchase a different item from our website. However, because you are also having problems with blurred vision and suspect that the prescription is incorrect, you may submit a copy of the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) measurement to us for verification. Once we have confirmed that both were entered correctly on the order, we will be happy to email you instructions to return the glasses to be inspected, and if the inspection results indicate that the glasses were manufactured incorrectly, you may choose to have them remade without the Blokz lenses or you may request a full refund. Buyer beware, no savings long term.

I purchased a pair of glasses in August of 21. I was very happy with the quality and the price. HOWEVER, in Dec of 21 I accidentally broke the frame by inadvertently sitting on my glasses. The lenses were completely intact. I reached out to customer service and was told the only option I had was to buy a completely new set of glasses and that just buying the frame was not an option. So my initial savings on the glasses is now obsolete. I will not purchase from them again.

Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your full-rim, browline, mixed-material, copper-, tortoiseshell-, and silver-colored frame 199115, with a frame width of 144 millimeters, breaking. We were sorry to learn that your frame broke, and we apologize for any dismay you experienced as a result. As we advised, when a customer’s frame breaks within an order’s 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, if the customer contacts us during the warranty period, we can send the customer a free replacement frame. However, insofar as this order, placed on August 25,2021, was outside its 30-day warranty period when you contacted us about the frame breaking, we advised that the option to replace the frame is to purchase the frame, for $35.95, with free, nonprescription lenses, and when the frame arrives, you can remove the nonprescription lenses from the new frame and install the prescription lenses from the broken frame into the rims of the new frame. Easy, quick, good quality

Other than making a decision on my glasses (the glasses try-on tool felt a little inaccurate but the delay was mostly due to my own indecision and fear of commitment) this process was a breeze. Once I picked out my frames, I was easily walked through adding my prescription, any add ons that I wanted, etc. I'm in love with my glasses (I got an every day pair as well as a set of sunglasses), as well as the leather case upgrade. I love that it folds flat (for me, it's always unfolded since I've either got my glasses or my sunglasses in it, but it's a convenient feature). I love Zenni glasses! I'm going to get my husband a few pairs, too!

I love zenni

I've ordered from here a million times for myself and twice for my boyfriend. Only slight issue is that the large men's size is just as tight on his face as the medium. We measured beforehand, so idk. He's still able to wear them, but they do leave a mark. I order the petite for myself and have never had a problem. Quality and shipping is great.

Great price, need a clearer receipt

The glasses are perfect! My daughter went back to school with her fresh new pair. My order did not take long to be made and shipped. All I ask is that you redesign your purchase receipt to show the name of the patient (name that's on the Rx) because that is required by FSA as well as insurance reimbursement situations. I had to make a special request today but your representative helped me to hopefully solve the issue (patient's name was added on the shipping address on emailed receipt). Also the itemization was a bit confusing (again, related to my insurance needs) and I think that could be made more clear on the receipt. Thank you!

Very tight frames
March 25, 2022

The frames are very tight to my head and make it very uncomfortable to wear they work good for my eyes but they pinch the sides of my heads and leave a Groove when I wear them not sure how to fix the problem. Plus I have a credit balance there that I don't know how to get back into my regular bank account due to the first pair was not right.

We were sorry to read that the frame is uncomfortable to wear, and we apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a result. In addition, you selected this frame on your first order with us, o4381449798, placed on December 18,2021, and you returned these eyeglasses to us for a 100 percent refund of their price, $30.91, in the form of store credit to your Zenni account, which we issued on January 5,2022, after we received the returned glasses. Since you stated that on this order you entered a single-vision distance prescription although you had intended to enter a single-vision intermediate (computer vision) prescription, we were surprised to learn that on your second order, o4425247612, you selected the same frame, although we see that you included your Near-Vision reading Addition correction (NV-ADD), +2.50, on this order, and you selected the near-range workspace progressives prescription type. This order was delivered to you on January 18,2022, according to the U.S. Postal Service website, and you posted your review a little outside its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Nevertheless, we will be happy to make a one-time customer service exception to extend the warranty period on your behalf, so that you may return these eyeglasses to us for one of our two refund options – either a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni account or a 50 percent refund to the credit card you used to pay for the order. My new glasses

I thought the ordering process was easy. Customer service was very helpful with the measurements. The glasses were made very quickly but took longer than I expected to arrive. When I called customer service they said they were coming from overseas and would start to
Track once they were in the US. I don't know that I would have chosen to order if I knew this was the case. The website indicates they are manufactured in the US. Shipping label had a third location, also not mentioned on website.

I'm happy with my purchase

They came in a reasonable amount of time and look nice. Hadn't wanted to spend on prescription sunglasses because I wear contact lenses most of the time, but on random weekends when I don't, I have to go out without any eye shade for the sun. These were priced low enough, even as bifocals to make me go ahead and buy.

I love Zenni!

I've ordered several pairs of glasses in the last 4 or 5 years, and I'm never disappointed with my orders. There was one time recently, when placing an order for glasses for myself and my son, I accidentally used my prescription for both frames. I called Zenni and they corrected the issue for me quickly and our glasses came perfect. My last order was sunglasses, which I've never owned a pair of prescription sun glasses before. They're PERFECT! I was afraid because I'm very picky about sunglasses shapes, but with the try on option I was able to find a pair I loved.

Very poor quality clip on sunglasses

I purchased the glass because they came with clip on sunglasses, but the sun glass clips are a piece of plastics with the edge painted to look like a frame. If I go to adjust my glasses the clips fall off. I will not purchase again. The glasses themselves are very nice and fit well it is just the cheap clips that upset me

We also want to mention that, when we looked up your frame, we saw that it has been discontinued, along with model 503612, a gray version of the frame.

We still have frames 503623 (tortoiseshell and clear ombre), 503625 (tortoiseshell with translucent blue temple arms), and 503635 (ivory tortoiseshell). These are all the same frame except for the color.

Zenni is Just Zenni

I'd used Zenni about 4 years ago. Then I'd found them cost effective and very professiona.My prescription changed so after all this time, as a trial, I ordered one pair reading and one distance. I was so satisfied with everything that I've ordered two more pairs ( distance and bi-focal) and plan on ordering a couple more. I just like having backup and different glasses for different situations. Hope they continue to maintain.

My puppy chewed my eyeglasses from Zenni. I put a post up on IG after I reordered the same glasses. I thought it was a cute puppy story & tagged Zenni (in case anyone liked my glasses style). Someone from CS said contacted me & said Zenni would like to replace them for free to get the puppy out of trouble. And true to her word, ZENNI did. And true to mine, you now have a very loyal customer. You far in renewing my faith in people. I'm so grateful. Thank you!

Two pairs out of four...
December 31, 2021

As a very very nearsighted human, I ordered FOUR pairs of glasses from Zenni -- two for reading, and two for distance. One of the distance pairs that they sent me was made with lenses that were obviously NOT high-index -- they were twice as thick as the three other pairs I had ordered. The other distance pair was simply not the correct prescription in the left lens. The representative I talked to was nice enough, and he said to send the unsatisfactory pair back, but my refund was about $37 short. I now have a credit and will try to get two more pairs. I'm okay -- not thrilled -- with the glasses I kept. I wish Zenni had more frames specifically made for very nearsighted adults -- ones with longer temples but smaller lens heights and widths. A larger lens just makes my glasses so heavy, and also makes my eyes look horrible.

I placed my order for new glasses with a new prescription on March 22,2021 and received them April 3,2021. Super fast service! I am super pleased with my new glasses. Locally places wanted $335 for one pair and at Zenni I paid 1/3 of that. I highly recommend Zenni Optical for your glasses needs.

Perfect for watching movies!

I love Zenni glasses. I have at least 6 pairs and they're all great. Except this last pair... somehow I missed the "progressive lens" check box... so they're only for distance. I can't read with them at all. Sadly, because of that, I'm not really wearing them at all. Wondering if Zenni will replace them for me?
