I ended up ordering from them b/c my MIL told me she had. Not only did they send out the wrong glasses but also the wrong script. When I called they told me they never had this before fought me on it. I was able to prove that they messed up. They finally agreed to send me out a new pair with 3-5 days took more like three weeks. When I told them I wanted my money back for all this bc when I check in to figure out what was going they told me it not priority! I was also told by one of the customer service that they would not get me a supervisor when I was trying to get the situation handled currently. DO NOT ORDER FROM A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT MAKE RIGHT ON THEIR WRONGS! They're truly a joke!

Don't do it

If you have any kind of issue you are royally $#*!ed. If your glasses prescription is off, the glasses don't look the same as the pics, you have an kind of issue at all and have to do a return you are $#*!ed! You will wish you never gave them a dime. It's better to pay the 200 for a pair of glasses from an official eye doctor's office. You get what you pay for - including customer service. $#*! this company, I'll never give them a dime EVER AGAIN. I'll go to America's Best. Zenni, you are losing customers. Word of mouth is still vital and I will tell everybody I know not to ever do business with you

Dark Patterns to Charge You Extra

I went to order a pair of glasses and when i went to my cart the glasses were marked for "Rush Delivery". After fumbling through their website and chatting with support I learned that in order to get "standard" delivery and not be charged an extra $20 I had to go to the checkout page where I would be allowed to change the delivery type. Okay, fine, that's $#*!ty to by default choose the most expensive delivery method instead of "standard" but whatever. Then I click the payment method, select amazon pay and then click the purchase button. When I see the confirmation, they had changed the delivery back to rush and charged me the $20. I reached out to chat support to cancel the order (this was within 30 seconds of placing the order) and they told me there is nothing they could do because it was a rush delivery. So I called into their support and talked to a person. They told me the same thing and that I would have to wait for the glasses to be delivered and then return them for a refund.

The use of these dark patterns to bully you into rush shipping means that I will never order from Zenni again. If you do choose to order from Zenni make sure to review everything very carefully at every step of the process.

Stay away from this place. Don't use their tutorial on PD...actually don't use them at all. If your glasses come wrong, it will be a rocket science project to get it to fix ad good luck to have a refund...LOL

Payment requirements misleading

I just ordered 2 pairs of glasses in desperation, as my last pair broke. I opted at check out for PayPal with 4 payments over time. It went through or so I thought. When I checked my bank acct to see if they had taken out a fourth of the total, I was shocked to find that they had taken out the full amount. I immediately called customer service and got a woman with a very heavy accent I could barely understand. She informed me because I selected the expedited option the payment could not be changed nor could the order be canceled. Even though it was less than 15 minutes since I placed the order. I just incurred a $4000 charge for a veterinary emergency so 4 payments was really needed. No where did I see that my order must be paid in full for that option or I would have only ordered one pair out of necessity. I have no complaints with the actual glasses. I've had several pairs from them in recent years with no issues. However their customer service is severely lacking and I am completely dissatisfied. In the future I will consider another on line eye glass retailer that is more reputable.

They got my glasses way off. It is blurry unless I look straight forward. I wanted my money back and they said I have to pay to ship them back, wait for them to be inspected, if they admit they made them wrong then I will be refunded 50% of my money minus shipping. What other companies make you pay for their mistakes. Probably not many that stay in business. If everything works out, you will get cheap glasses, but it doesn't, you will get cheaply made glasses you can't use, but will still be paying for them.

Zenni Optical is a shocker of a retail online business. I ordered glasses and they made a mistake with the order then refused to refund, offering 50% refund only. Do your bank balance a favour and do not use this company.

I bought one pair of glasses from Zenni and the leg broke after a couple of months. They refused to replace them or give me my money back because they only offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Convenient! So I bought another pair because they so cheap. They're decent, but fit too snug. The next size up is way too big. I got transitions glasses, but I decided that I wanted to buy sunglasses because the sun is extremely hot and bright this summer. I specifically ordered sunglasses and they're arguing with me, insisting that I ordered transitions. I did NOT order another pair of transitions. I specially chose sunglasses. But they're giving me the run around again and now they refuse to even talk to me. No matter what you order, they send you the wrong glasses and claim that that's what you ordered. I'm not ignorant, I know EXACTLY what I ordered! They are compulsive liars! Transitions glasses are NOT dark enough, that's why I ordered sunglasses!

We bought 2 pair of glasses from Zenni over 150 each and as they suggest and offer a sunglass attachment for each pair we bought them. But after using them a few times, we realized they had scratched both pair of glasses right in the eye view area. My husband had to quit wearing both of the glasses in 8 months time. I called and they wanted after much debate to give me 10% off only for the exact order but with no paid for sunglass attachments. How can they sell attachments for their glasses which ruin the lenses? Also they sent this weird Lasor to check out your lenses for something and when I followed the directions, it left a black burn on my lenses when I ordered some too. I buffed it out, but once again, said, do they know what they are doing? I won't go back. I've bought 4 pairs for myself and now 2 for my husband, with each one having one issue or another. They are discounted, but over 100 for each pair with issues is still good money for short lived benefits.

I ordered my singular prescription glasses and they were perfect! The glasses size fit me just well and they are super cute too! I was scared the prescription would not be correct, but it work amazing. Definitely will order my new pair of prescription glasses here from again.

My experience with Zenni has been very disappointing. They sold me a product that did not fit, causes pain when worn and cannot be adjusted. Large frames fit me, but the glasses sold by zenni put painful pressure behind the ear and are made with a special plastic that retains its shape and cannot be modified for fit. When I tried to reach out to customer service, I was given the run around and ended up wasting a full morning and afternoon. Rather than a full refund, I will receive only half of the purchase price for a product that cannot be used. So, unless the frames happen to fit you perfectly right out of the box, you are out of luck. For taking a chance on Zenni, I lost not only $70+ but a good deal of time and patience. If you are at all concerned about fit or customer service if something goes wrong, do not buy glasses from Zenni!

I ordered a pair of glasses. I wanted a new pair of sunglasses. Followed the order process. When I received them I could not see with them. I called and was told they would check them and remake them they even talked to my husband and measured my pd again. After waiting 17 days I reached out to them and was told there was nothing wrong with my glasses and I could have store credit or 50 percent back. I took the fifty percent back. I feel taken advantage of. I will never use them again and tell people to do so at their own risk. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

Hi… I ordered glasses from Zenni optical… To begin with… I spent 178 for one pair of kids glasses… So I think that is pricey… Then I never received the glasses… they sent them to the wrong customer… I did get an email stating this… They were supposed to send a new pair….never got… called to cancel… per there refund policy… I only get 50 percent back…. So I paid 90 for kids glasses that we never received! Do not buy from this company

I requested to purchase the left hinge of a rimless less to replace the broken hinge which came off the lens. Zenni refused my request and insisted that I buy a new pair of glasses instead. They insisted that they do not provide after-sales repairs or sell any replacement parts. Zenni should indicate this disclaimer on their website to alert customers of their lack of customer support.

Well I order my glasses and an Irene was view was the rep I talked to her she advised me to track down my own order and advised to take store credit and I advised her I wanted my money back and and I wasn't no longer going to do businesses with zenni and I didn't want store credit and now they didn't get my refund nor did I get my glasses I'm devastated micheal got on the phone as well and told me he's giving refund and do remake of previously order and now say upper management has to review his request and the end of the call so basically

I have ordered Several pairs ogf glasses from this company and now they have to Remake a Second pair because they Screwed up. Manager of Customer Service, Yes u, is making me Return the Incorrect ones and Use my Rewards to Process the New one. What kind of hideous Customer Service treats their return customers like this? This will be my Last rodeo with these people. I guess its True u get what u Pay for but these werent even Cheap!
