Zenni has no interest in quality improvement. I have identified 4 major glitches and problems on their website which make product selection difficult and which limit visual acuity in their lenses. All of these problems could be fixed by any bright IT student, and I've complained about at least 8 times in the past 6 years and the reps I spoke to all said they would forward my complaints. Absolutely no improvements have been made in those 6 years. I won't post photos because I've already sent plenty of photos and detailed descriptions of the various problems to Zenni. And my proof of purchase is redacted because I still use Zenni for single vision reading glasses and don't want to get blackballed.
I messaged them after 20 days of no shipping updates and they said they couldn't find my order even with proof of account/ordering. They said they would keep escalating it and after waiting and waiting I am going to dispute it with my bank. Scam of a company..
I went to get a new eye glass prescription since it has been 2 years. The store I went to wanted over $300 with my insurance. I said no thanks took my new prescription. I went to my car, it was a Friday, ordered Zenni glasses and received them Wednesday. Wow was I surprised

After three weeks and no email (like I was told) my glasses arrived. For 300 plus dollars the frame is cheaply made. I am very disappointed in the Customer service and the frames. I purchased a pair of glasses and when I received them the prescription was not right. I could not see clearly. I contacted the company and they told me to try and adjust them. Well I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years. I know how to adjust glasses I do it all the time for other people. I told them I adjusted them and they still was not right. I was told to return them. I did. Then they tell me it would cost me 50% for the return. (Poor business). So I told them to just refund me my money. Then they told me that it would cost me another 50% to do so. So out of $150.00-$160.00 I got back $22.00 back. This is the biggest ripoff company I have ever seen. Do not order anything from them.

The lenses I chose where 1.53 Trivex Transitions® XTRActive Polarized - Gray, the most expensive ones that Zenni offers. I sent them back at my cost and around three weeks later they sent me a replacement set. 4 months later the lenses had the exact same problem but now the 30 day warranty was up and even though it was the same problem they would not warranty them!
My experience with Zenni has been less then stellar and it would have been cheeper to buy local as I would have had much better service and a pair of glasses that actually worked. In the end I through the glasses in the garbage. Moral of the story is Zenni is not worth your time and money!
I attempted to get 3 pair of glasses one I simply returned for a refund and another set I returned to be remade. Each time they sent me glasses that I could not see through clearly. Along with a 2-3 week wait to get another bad pair of glasses. Never again.

Zenni used to operate from California but having shipped their phone operators to another country they are too difficult to deal with. When I asked for an American operator I was refused.
In my 34 years of wearing glasses zennis glasses have been the worst purchase in my life. I spent 400 bucks on two pairs of glasses one pair being strictly sunglasses. Both pairs have been terrible. The sunglasses tint is uneven in certain spots. I got them earlier this year 2023 and my daily use glasses are already scratched to hell to the point that there's a permanent blurry spot. I'd love a full refund but I'm past their return policy. Not to mention my daily glasses that are black are actually a clear frame painted black. I highly not recommend wasting your money with this company especially when you depend on a product that helps your daily living as I do. I order these in April
Had to return glasses for wrong prescription. My fault but they were so not understanding and didn't want to replace the glass until I sent the old ones back and they said they would credit my account within 3 business days of sending them back the glasses. On day 3 I did not received my credit and when I called they said it would another 2 days. To which I responded I can't see I need the correct prescription asap and you promised 3 days for the credit. The customer service agent said he couldn't help me. I ask for a refund so I could go somewhere else as I should of done in the first place. I actually don't think they have a great selection of glass the were only about 20 for me to choose from and they all mostly looked the same. I'll never order glasses from Zenni optical. They are not true to their word they have no compassion or care for customers. Their customer service agents are instructed to pacify customers with false promises to cover up their self interested policies

I bought frames and lenses in June. One of the lenses was slightly too small putting stress on the frame when cleaning. The frame snapped. Zenni replaced the frame since it happened within 30 days. The replacement frame snapped on the opposite side after 60 days. Zenni says there is nothing they can do, not even offer a discount.
I purchased sunglasses through Zenni and the cheap case they came in had a lining that melted and emitted something toxic that left a film on the glasses and ruined them. Zenni wouldn't refund and didn't care about the issue because it was past the 14 days. But the glasses were only a couple of months old. I do not recommend you purchase from Zenni.

Tons of nice frames but none of them fit my prescription since it's supposedly too strong, even though I had no problems getting glasses from a rival site or other places.I returned a pair of glasses and they gave me store credit so at least customer service is good.
I ordered a pair of prescription glasses from Zenni in March 2023. I wear them only once a week when I don't have in my contact lenses. Both side pieces broke within 6 month of purchase. There is a blob of clear glue on the hinge area. They were glued in and the glue failed on both sides. Advised by rep that only a 30 guarantee, even if defective. I have to order another pair so I can have a working pair of glasses! I do not recommend.
