Bought a Golden Gatsby dress, a pair of vintage styled women's heels, a feather headdress and some black gloves for a Great Gatsby party. I ordered on the 01 Sep from Sydney, Australia. My order got here today, the 04 Oct 2022. The party is in 2 days. This is ridiculous. It's an an Australian site but everything is shipped from Shanghai in China. Do not be fooled by this website.

The items are of good quality, but overpriced for what they are. I cannot believe how long it took to arrive.

I should have known better!

Why did I order from this site? We received my daughter's offer today. It was a homecoming dress for $119. Not cheap.
The dress is laughably, embarrassingly poorly made. The skirt is about 14 inches long. Not long enough to wear in public. I should have known better. I sent an email to their customer service department and I am hoping for a prompt response. Until then, I will warn other mothers and daughters on every website I can about this low quality merchandise. Such a shame!

The dress was much too small for the size and smelled bad. I tried to return which is extremely difficult. Nothing easy. I wrote an email almost every day for 19 days. There is no easy way to return. I waited 1-2 days between replies-all evasive. They kept saying sure but then not giving me a label or instructions. Last communication said we can give you 10% off to keep it. I was so tired of it, I said yes. Didn't even get that. Now, I have a useless dress I had to keep because they would not just let me return.

Scam company! Order ZAPAKAAU38009

Ordered a week ago, still don't have a shipping confirmation. Paid an extra $50 for express shipping that said the item would be received in 5 days. When I emailed the company, they said it would take at least 2 weeks and have not responded to numerous emails since! I want a refund now and simply no reply. Have taken up the dispute with my bank.

Placed order, received no emailed order confirmation. So right off the bat, I have no order #. Received gowns quickly, they are beautiful but didn't fit. They also came from a Chinese address w/ no packing slip. Emailed Zapaka three times to initiate a return (twice via regular email, once via Contact Us form on website), but never got a response. With a limited return window, there's a real sense of urgency in getting these dresses back. I am guessing that even if they did respond, it would cost more to ship these things back to China than I paid for them. Would never purchase from this company again, and if you purchase from them, you'd better be 100% certain you want to keep the dress.

Product received late, but it's beautiful

I am absolutely satisfied with my dress. It's perfect and looks much better quality than you'd expect for the price. But beware: the delivery time was 2 months for me, although the website only says a delivery time of about 1 month. The customer service is buildable as they can't give you proper information about the processing and delivery times and always just answer the same thing. But the dress arrived, so I'm very happy :).

Difficult Return Process

I have been trying to return my order (ZAPAKAUS*******) and have not been able to reach their phone number. I sent them an email but these reviews do not have me hopeful for a response. I have even messaged their instagram page. Hopefully they get back to me as soon as they can.

My dress hasn't shown up yet, it's been days. I need it on the ninth for homecoming, and the tracking number won't work. It's saying there been a shipping label placed for it, but that's all. It said september 30th, then the first of october, now the 4th. It still isn't here, it's the 4th.

Shopping at Zapaka is a very disappointing experience. They didn't send any return address or instructions with the delivery and when contacting them it took so long for them to answer that I wasn't able to return the goods on time. They then offered me a 20% refund of my total order (which is less to what I wanted to return - but OK).
Since then almost 4 months have passed and I haven't received any refund or even response from them

WE HAVE LOST MONEY. AVOID ZAPAKA AU!

Tracking said item was delivered, nothing was ever delivered/received. Customer Service is non-existent with multiple emails being ignored.
Courier/Tracking website is in Chinese and impossible to follow up.

I custom ordered a dress only for it to arrive completely wrong, a terrible fit, and made for someone twice my size. I don't know how that happens when you send custom measurements but anyways, I tried to get refunded for any tailoring I would have done and they flat out refused even though it's in their policy. They could only offer me a 15% refund which I have yet to see. Bunch of scammers with terrible customer service.

I am WARNING you!

They do not disclose in their return policy that you have to return to CHINA! So basically, you can't return anything because there is no tracking to China and it is ridiculously expensive. Very tricky not to disclose this. I lost $73, stuck with two dresses that are too small (their sizes are WAY smaller than what we in the USA think is a medium or large). They did refund 10%. So oh goody I get to go buy 2 gallons of milk. (And I'll cry over my spilled milk)!

Bought a prom dress back in May, dress arrived with faults, send it back. Still waiting for the money back, contacted customer service, no response. Totally disappointed. Don't buy from them, they are scammers!

I have been trying for 2 weeks to make a return from order US*******. I have followed their posted process and have requested a return within their 7 day return window. I have sent multiple emails, left phone messages and have even tried the online chat. I have received no response. I have complied with their requirements - they are not a reputable company. I bought two dresses and needed to return one. Their return policy is fraudulent. They don't accept returns …they keep sending back messages requesting information and make you send photos but they never send information as to where to send product back to. It took weeks longer to receive products too because it shops from China! The operation has no ethical code.
My friend also bought a dress which never showed and they didn't refund. Terrible!

Stay Away

I should have checked this company out before I ordered from them. They are shipping the products straight from China. The order took 4 weeks to arrive. The quality of the merchandise was good, however it arrived too late for the event. If you want to return your items it is nearly impossible. They offered to give a 15% refund and you keep the items.
