Literally every time you walk into Zales you have an issue with the manager in Merritt Island Dana I've been there several times there's always a problem she can never make it easy the sales associates are just fine when you are purchasing but if there's any type of issue after purchase you might as well forget it you will get nothing done... Rude and unhelpful plain and simple will never do business here again... Went in after my fiance purchased an engagement ring sizing was free as we purchased the extended warranty plan for 500 additional dollars I was then told by the sales associate because he bought the wedding jacket to go with it that it would be best that I did not size the engagement ring as it would not fit the jacket in the future and would weaken the band The Ring was so large that I asked her what would be an option she said a ring guard after spending nearly $5,000 on a ring they wanted to charge me $30 to add a ring guard when sizing is free if I had it cut first issue second issue went back into do the six-month check-up on the diamond as is required to extend the warranty was told even though it takes 3 minutes and normally no appointment needed that I needed to make an appointment although there was nobody else in the store and it literally takes 5 minutes to review it after I drove all the way up there manager was rude sales associates are rude will no longer do business with Zales ever again
I got a sapphire bridal set for my fiance as her engagement ring and wedding band. In less than 4 months it's been in for repairs FIVE times because the band broke and stones fall out CONSTANTLY. We were given all the excuses, don't wear it to work, desk jobs are the hardest on rings, don't wear it to bed, don't wear it in the shower, etc. So when CAN she wear it?! Wedding rings are made to be worn! After weeks of screwing around with corporate customer service, I finally hear back from someone saying they'll replace it with a "more durable" ring made of gold because silver "doesn't hold up" (what?!?!) So we go to the Appleton, WI store and spoke with the manager, Kayla, who was VERY nice and said they'd figure something out but she has to speak with corporate and they were closed already. I get a call the next day and they're giving me back what i paid for my ring, but offering me a whopping 25% off a new ring AND I have to buy ANOTHER protection plan! I know the markup on jewelry and I'll be DAMNED if I'm giving them any more of my money knowing they're jewelry is this unstable! I got the ring because I can't afford anything super fancy right now and this is the style she wanted, but to get something similar made of white gold it would be an ADDITIONAL $625 AFTER my supposed "savings"! HELL NO! I'm going to make sure EVERYONE knows about this, including all of my social media following. They did NOT make this right, especially considering they've had the ring for repairs more than my poor future wife has been able to wear it! DON'T BUY THEIR JEWELRY AND DONT BUY FROM ZALES!
I ordered a diamond ring for a Valentine's Day.
First I received email stating order is done,
Second the package had shipped a week after, I also received a tracking number ( UPS)
The package was never delivered or attempted to.
I had 2 chat sessions with Zales and got nothing but excuses. They don't even insure their shipments of jewelry and try to keep me with excuses hoping that ups deliver the already lost package, I have spent almost 4 hours in phone calls (one of the times I called and the representative forgot to put the call on hold and I heard how she was laughing about my case and talking about the diamond size making fun of it)
I also send emails that were never answered ( Zales representative: Ross)
After 20 days waiting for the package or a follow up call or email that never happened, they started an investigation finally in order to know where the package was.
I called one more time and more excuses came asking me for more time, I requested to get transferred to a supervisor ( Kiara) off course more excuses and understanding... THANK YOU ZALES...
It has Been a month after and haven't get My wife a Valentine's Gift but finally I receive and email
Letting me know that they close the case and refund the money BACK to ME... THANK YOU ZALES ONE MORE TINE...
Bought a diamond ring for a very special day. On 3/1/21. Paid in cash but was told by Zales associate they did not have the size i needed in stock and that they could not take my cash i needed to purchase a zales gift card so they could order said ring from their website.
On 3/5/21 i received notice via email my ring was ready for pick up. I was away at the time so 4 days later I called the local store where I made the purchase and was told my ring was NOT in their store, was NOT in their safe, and they could not find information on my ring or where it was even with the order number I provided them that they sent me.
Called the store spoke with an associate who told me she found that my ring was signed for from UPS by an associate last name who did not even work at their store location.
Spent more time with corporate customer care with still no answers. Received a call from my local Zales they told me the ring was found to have been shipped to a store in Maryland, mind you I am in New York. Said they would overnight the ring and it would be available to me on 3/11/21.
The ring was no at the store. I was told it would be here today 3/12/21 and again it was not at the store. Was told by associate to come back Monday "maybe" it will be in then. Associate would not give me the UPS tracking number upon request.
Spoke with Sterling Jewelers the parent company of Zales and was told by customer care she was unable to reach the store manager to figure this situation out but would call me back before days end... Well, it's days end and still have not heard from them.
Worst buying experience of my life. These people are ridiculous and have no idea how to treat a paying customer or how to make the situation right. I even requested a refund with receipt and was told they could not issue me a refund...
WTH is going on with this company.?

I spoke with a very unprofessional girl name Danielle extension number ******* to say the least, calling her a Woman would be an over statement. She was very rude and tried to Insinuate that I was lying about trying to make a purchase and her reason being was that she can see the items in my cart from July 30th with a total of $4337, however that was a lie because if she could see the cart from July 30th at the time I tried to submit the purchase it would have been $424 dollars less. So she was just lying and didn't have enough common sense as to how to lie. I told her she wasn't telling the truth and to use her thinker and because she was as caught in a lie she got upset, Then when I asked to speak to a manager she refused and hung up on me. I then called back and got a very nice woman who shouldn't be answering phones at all and since he's calls are recorded they should definitely listen into it because her stutter problem was so bad we can barely communicate to then be transferred to a supervisor by the name of Heather who coughed every couple of seconds though she wasn't unpleasant to speak to I just believe she could've stayed home with such a cough especially in this time with Covid Due to the poor quality customer service skills I will no longer be a customer of Zales which is unfortunate because my husband and I have purchased several things there including my first wedding ring and was looking to help my son purchase his first wedding set
Throughout the years I have spent a substantial amount of money on jewelry between all the stores in my mall and at this particular location in the Galleria mall in middletown NY customer service has gone down the drain. I currently have a piece that has the diamond bond on it and i have to bring it in every six months... ohh how I wish I didnt have to step foot in there that often. Everytime I go in I get more and more frustrated... A few months back I had gone in to purchase two items one for my mother and one for my girlfriend. I had watched at least three people come in after me and leave before me either completing a purchase or making a payment of some sort as I stood there by the counter near the items I intended on purchasing with employees looking at me... With that being said after standing in this store for almost an hour with no assistance I had finally gotten someone's attention and purchased the two items and left. Then again less than a month ago I went in to have my one item inspected for the diamond bond and didn't even offer to clean my pieces until i told my girlfriend ( out loud) that I guess I would clean her diamond and ruby earrings when we got home, again the employee then states that I can have whatever items I want cleaned... Everyone in that store is rude if your not a middle aged person looking at a engagement ring or wedding ring. They could careless and to prove they dont care I have since filled out a survey as well as contacted the main office via the website and have gotten no response.
If you don't mind bad customer service feel free. In my opinion I will begin to shop elsewhere!
Been a long-time customer of this company for over three decades. Went to my local sore a week ago to get my wife's rings cleaned. While there, I saw a beautiful lab created diamond that I thought I might upgrade my wife to. In speaking with the store manager, she advised me that I could utilize my 100% trade guarantee to purchase this. What this means is since I purchased the ring from Zales initially, I am allowed to get 100% trade in for what I paid as long as the new jewelry piece is at least twice that cost, which in this case it was. Taking advantage of zero interest, I applied for the CC and was all set to purchase. I am then told that the sales tag that was currently on the ring was not supposed to be advertised until the following week. The manager told me to come back next week, and she put the ring aside for me. When I come back, the manager was not there and the man who was helping me told me that he was not able to execute the purchase because the ring I was trading was a real diamond and the ring I was buying was a lab created piece. He stated it was against their policy. I referenced their website right in front of him and we could find no such policy, but we did find what I was told previously that I could get 100% trade in value but no mention of the rest. Contacted his DM and was told nothing could be done. I contacted the customer service dept. and was told that is their INTERNAL policy and it is not shared anywhere publicly. Have tried multiple people and no one will help, nor will they provide me with a way to contact anyone above the useless CS people. This is Zales fault exclusively and they should do what they need to, to make it right. Doesn't appear they will.This is the worst treatment I have ever received from this company and am very shocked after so many good experiences. They absolutely do not care about their customer, period. They could care less how long you have been a customer or if you will continue to be one. Basically, that is what I was told from the DM who did reach out to me. She was rude, matter of fact and offered no solution to my problem and finalized our call wishing me luck at my next jeweler. I had bought a necklace for my wife previously and will be returning that as I purchased a new one from a much better jeweler today. After receiving such horrible service from this wanna-be jewelry company, I won't nothing to do with them. Once upon a time, they were wonderful and would never allow this sort of thing to happen. Clearly no more. This also holds true for Kays as they are in essence the same company owned by the same conglomerate. STAY AWAY from this deplorable company and find a true reputable jeweler that truly cares about their customer, and they value they provide. They do not hide policies to benefit themselves and they are able to work problems out. I wish I could give zero stars.
Purchased a wedding ring back on 2/9/2021 before my wedding to my long term partner beautiful ring, fast forward to 10 months later the top piece of the ring literally falls off while im in bed on my laptop. Mind you this is a 3k ring, i take it to zales and ofcoarse their only solution is MORE MONEY either pay to repair their faulty product or buy the extended warranty like wtf! So i leave call zales customer service they tell me to go back and send in the ring to see if the cost isnt too much theyd cover the repair and they didnt go through with that too, the only good thing as they mentioned is that i can put the ring towards an upgrade as if im gonna spend another dime on those mother$#*!ers! They always have specials at zales and when they do I make sure I walk in and take a look. More often than not I buy.

They will literally force you to get warranty, lie to you about what it covers, and don't even give you the warranty pamphlet. Be prepare that when you go in to file a claim with them, they will not honor what was told to you when you bought the item in the first place. They are deceitful and dishonest- STAY AWAY FROM BIBIAN (older women with reddish/brownish)- after admitting she had told me that the warranty cover "lost/theft" when I went in she basically said "oh sorry if I did not explain myself correctly", skank, what is there to explain - it was VERY CLEAR to me exactly what you meant but you dont have the decency to own up to what you tell your clients and the store manager, ARIANA is the same crap, USELESS and might as well have been to tell me the same thing, LIARS!
