Do not shop at Zales in any capacity. My diamond engagement ring is from here and we got the diamond warranty. The diamond head on my ring bent so I took it to the store to have them fix it. They take pictures of your ring before they send it out. When my ring came back the head was still bent and my diamond was changed! I knew it right away and said something to the manager. She said we don't do that, I said show me my pictures. The pictures were conveniently lost. They couldn't find them. I took the right to another Zales still no help. Two store sales people told me since its under warranty they will just replace the head all together. That still has not been done. I called the corporate office and all they did was call the store and talk to the manager and told me to pick up my ring. What good is a warranty if they aren't willing to do anything for you. They stole from me. Don't let it happen to you.
I stopped by Zales on Saturday, March 27,2021 in the Augusta Mall to purchase a 795.00 Movado watch. I was told the watch was ringing up 695.00. So because the Manager was on vacation the sales person could not get anyone to override the system to make the sale. I have never heard of such and will take my business else where from now on!
Bought a diamond ring for a very special day. On 3/1/21. Paid in cash but was told by Zales associate they did not have the size i needed in stock and that they could not take my cash i needed to purchase a zales gift card so they could order said ring from their website.
On 3/5/21 i received notice via email my ring was ready for pick up. I was away at the time so 4 days later I called the local store where I made the purchase and was told my ring was NOT in their store, was NOT in their safe, and they could not find information on my ring or where it was even with the order number I provided them that they sent me.
Called the store spoke with an associate who told me she found that my ring was signed for from UPS by an associate last name who did not even work at their store location.
Spent more time with corporate customer care with still no answers. Received a call from my local Zales they told me the ring was found to have been shipped to a store in Maryland, mind you I am in New York. Said they would overnight the ring and it would be available to me on 3/11/21.
The ring was no at the store. I was told it would be here today 3/12/21 and again it was not at the store. Was told by associate to come back Monday "maybe" it will be in then. Associate would not give me the UPS tracking number upon request.
Spoke with Sterling Jewelers the parent company of Zales and was told by customer care she was unable to reach the store manager to figure this situation out but would call me back before days end... Well, it's days end and still have not heard from them.
Worst buying experience of my life. These people are ridiculous and have no idea how to treat a paying customer or how to make the situation right. I even requested a refund with receipt and was told they could not issue me a refund...

On March 8th, I attempted to make a purchase through the zales website. I completed the purchase (hit submit payment) only for a red bar to pop up saying my item was no longer in stock. Which is ok, understandable bc they're items sell quickly, I get it. However, when I checked my bank the charge still went through, TWICE! So, a $393.66 charge turned into a $787.32 charge. Unfortunately, I have to wait 5-7 business days for my bank to release these funds back to me, which I understand. Except, I decided to take a look at Zales today to see if the wedding band I wanted for my fiance was now available, and it was and on sale, whoohoo! I decided to take the chance and order the ring again, this time using paypay. Again I completed the process, hit the submit button, and again I was given a red bar notification saying the credit card was invalid, makes no sense since I just updated the card in Paypal. Regardless, the order did not go through but the charge still processed and they took another $300 out of my account. Now I am out over $1000! And I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my money back in the bank. My point is, the Zales website is trash! Love the store though, the people are kind and helpful, but the website SUCKS!
Wouldnt give them a 1 rating they are poor customer service and dont know how to communicate with ups. Charged me for necklace a month ago and still have not recieved it... never again will i purchase from zales
The worst customer service ever. My husband and I will return the necklace and never shop there ever again... They made a mistake and pretty much told me to go online print the label and return it then go back online and reorder. What kind of service is this. You have no problem taking my money. You made the mistake and you should be fixing it not I, the customer. Absolutely the worst service ever. All names start with the capital letter as I wrote it when I ordered it... I have the email and confirmation and it's their mistake. But how you handle your customers is what will lead you to be out of business...
I recently tried to purchase a gift for my wife's birthday. I ordered a necklace, only to have it canceled about 12 hours later. I tried a different item with the order being canceled about a day later. I now have THREE charges on my credit card.
When I contact Zales customer support, they have just as little awareness about their billing as they do about their inventory. This turned my wife's potential birthday present into her now being LIVID about having this mess to deal with.
If you want to NEVER receive an item, but have multiple headaches to deal with regarding billing, choose Zales. I know that I will avoid them permanently.

I purchased a watch using the Affirm payment option. After about two hours Zales messages me saying the item is no long available. 3 days later and the website is still saying its available. No because they canceled it,. I have to wait to even use my Affirm credit. They are telling me it can take up to 8 days. So now I have to wait 8 days to even start looking at anything for a gift. I got in contact with Taylor D. With customer "service" she was no help and even ended the online chat with me without me even being able to finish talking to her. So dissapointed.
If I could give Zales zero stars I would. My boyfriend is deployed and he got me this bracelet it broke 3 weeks later and I took it to get fixed and resized. They gave me a hard time about getting it back and it doesn't fit. So $#*! you Zales.
To start I was not even greeted at entry just stared at by a sales representative by the name of Edna. This associate does not know how to operate the computer/ register had to ask everything to whom it seemed the person in charge at the moment that was selling a ring to a couple and left them unattended with the two rings on hand after I waisted 25 min of my time still couldn't help me nor figure out what to do definitely ordering on line or going to another store hopefully there is better trained associates that can meet the criteria needed in a jewelry store.
My sister ordered 5 name plates 2 of them were for my kids she spent 1000 in total and these name plate changed colors so fast was a waste of 200 and turned my daughters neck black so when it says real no fake and will change colors
I tried to place an order on zales.com yesterday. The order would not go through as i kept getting an error message. Later i was checking my bank account balance and my account had a negative balance because zales charged me 3 times for an order that didnt even go through! And its not just charges that are pending. They are all posted charges to my account. I want this reversed immediately. I called zales customer service and they said they couldn't help me because an order hadn't been placed. Yeah, I know but you still charged me 3 times! This is so wrong, its insane. I can't even get groceries to feed my children because of this catastrophic screw up. Someone needs to reverse these charges immediately.
Each charge on my account was for $410.70. That's a total of $1,232.10. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever had to deal with! Do not order from zales.com!
I order on October 3,2020 and they say that I will get my order on November 3. If I had known it would take a month I would have shopped somewhere else. I will not buy from Zales again. They should refund some money sense it takes so long.
Ordered bracelet, Zales said they would charge card when shipped. Card charged and email said shipped, along with free 2 day shipping. 4 days later and bracelet still hasn't been sent out to UPS.
Walk into the store to pick up my ring that was being serviced. Right away I get harassed that my mask is not fully covering my nose. Keep in mind my nostrils are covered but you could see the top part of my nose. Refused to help me. Sitting on his $#*! doing nothing seemed like a better thing to do. I will no longer shop here or recommend to anyone.
I bought a ring on 29 August, 2020. I am out of town due to business so I tried to get it shipped to my hotel. The arrival date was 23 September. So I called customer service said hey i need to switch addresses, by the 23rd ill be back in Alaska. Septmeber 2nd I get an email that the engagement ring is going to arrive 4 September. Only person at the house is my girlfriend, who will now know I'm proposing. Called customer service, they said there is nothing they can do. I should have gotten an email or something saying shipping dates have changed.
My 17 yr old son, went in and purchased a $75 ring for his girlfriend. Zales pulled the money from his account and a month or so went by with no contact Zales put the money back in his account so he purchased a another ring for her. 2 months went by and Zales pulled the money from his account all he had and a ring showed up still no contact. So he paid for insurance on the ring and returned it. On July 31st Zales signed for it, it's August 25th no money has been put back in his account. This no way to do business this is terrible I would never tell anyone to do business with you all. This coming from a guy that not only bought my spouses first wedding ring along with multiple other items from the people that are jacking a kid around.
I ordered my fiancé's Wedding Band on March 6 2020 and it's now August 24 2020 and I still do not have the ring nor did they give me my money back I call every week and they give me the run around they are a bunch of liars im pissed because I've been calling them since June and still nothing
Answer: Zales suck. Having to have your ring checked every 6 months is a complete joke. Employees don't know what their doing. They are sales people, not jewlers.
