Spent $250+ on a pair of 8 by Yoox leather boots and the rubber fell off the bottom of the heel…. One heel broke in half… then the OTHER heel broke in half two weeks after…. All within the first 3 months of wearing. Told customer service and they said "oh well". Didn't help at all. Then I took it to a shoe repair shop and they said the heel was made without any structural integrity — no metal, no reenforcement, just plastic covered in leather. For $250+ that is ridiculous.
I know what you are thinking - you found a good deal and you want your cheap item so much. Maybe your experience won't be the same as the others. Well, you're wrong. Yoox will deceive you. Your items will be the wrong size, DAMAGED and filthy. It's trift shop quality, despite how the images look like on their website. Stay away!
I have been a devoted customer of YOOX for almost 10 years. They were often charging returns of wrong or damaged items, which they should not have been doing. But it was a minor nuisance comparing to the deals and general reliability of returns. But what they started doing lately is outrageous!
When you purchase an item, which can be returned, after the purchase they change the status to "non-returnable" as they will! I suspect that it may be another bug of their website which often lists unavailable items, and prevents buying items in fact available (purchasable the other day). It may be just a bug of their database cache. But their reaction and unwillingness to solve the problem and hold a responsibility puts them directly in the category "FRAUD".
I understand many items sold on the site are from all over the world. That being said I don't expect American speed shipping. Most importantly the clothing and prices are pretty good. Returns are easy. I don't shop on other sites as much anymore.
I ordered heels for 120, but they sent me flats.
I am shocked, i wrote them several time they even don't want to answer me. At last when they answered they even didn't say sorry it's our mistake, they only wrote me that i must pay money send back, they can't change. They are standard robbers.
Terrible customer service. There is no way to solve a difficult situation.
After long negotiations to return the defective product, the company just disappeared and no longer answers my e-mail.

I was a Yoox.com customer since 2009.
Their policy is buy stuff, if you don't like it, return it. After several years, they said sorry you can not shop with us anymore because you return too much.
Few times they sent me wrong items and few times I received damaged and defected items which anyhow should be returned.
The last email I received from Yoox.com was "YOOX reserves the right to refuse returns of any merchandise or any future orders when a customer has carried out an excessive number of returns beginning from the date of the first return"
This is not normal! This is not fair! This is a violation!
I bought a Fendi dress from this place which looked like a fake. I compared it to my authentic Fendi clothes and scratched my head, wondering why Fendi would have such poor workmanship. Only then I realized that it may not be authentic. I'll stay clear from this website in future. They ship from Hong Kong and packaging was horrendous.
I received damaged dress and they just ignored my emails where I was asking to offer the solution to the problem. The dress was bought on final sale, but it doesn't not mean that customers have to accept items that are not in wearable condition! I paid $99.00 for that garbage.
I almost didn't order from this company after reading the reviews but I had 3 pairs of shoes picked out that I really wanted and only totalled $100 so I figured I'd take the risk. First off the deals are amazing, I thought it was a scam at 1st. I figured the shipping time would be long based on other reviews but was in no rush so it didn't really matter. Well my order was shipped within a few days so I was pleasantly surprised! I received it a few days after it was shipped and everything was 100% accurate. Again I was pleasantly surprised and so happy I decided to order. I can't speak for others but my personal experience with ordering from yoox was great in every way! No complaints! And I got 3 pairs of hard to find vans for dirt cheap! LOVE IT!
Placed several orders in the past with no issue. However, placed an order yesterday and the address defaulted to an old address in another state which I had previously deleted. When I called customer service, they were extremely rude, unhelpful and told me it was my fault. They were unwilling to update the address for me, despite the order not even being processed yet, and refused to cancel it and place a new order to the correct address. Their only advice was cancel the order then you can keep looking at the website to see if the item comes back into stock'. Left such a bad taste in my mouth, the manager I spoke to was patronizing and unkind. I will never be shopping here again.
On a few occasions, refunds have not been given or the wrong amount given i.e. Less than it should be. Yoox then do not do anything and I have had to dispute the transaction with my bank.
I returned an item after organising DHL and all that goes with it only to find that the item came back to me again and I was waiting and chasing up a refund numerous times. Then I was asked to return the item again before they even considered a refund back into my account. I will never buy from this Company again...can barely understand their operators...do not admit their mistakes and do not care about Customer service...a big waste of my time for ordinary products.
BEWARE - This internet retailer has been practicing a fraudulent sales tax application and proven to be an extremely unresponsive when confronted with this issue. We've tried contacting them via Customer Service website, Twitter, phone, etc...
They've been avoiding completely all questions directed toward their practices of applying sales taxes to sales outside of their home state, where the actual warehouses are located. It's stupid to ignore those questions in the era of Twitter.
Be careful when buying premium brands from Yoox, there is no warranty!
I bought a parka from the premium brand Herno (L'eskimo) in May 2023 during the sale. I started wearing the parka in November 2023 and within 2 months of use the jacket lost a significant amount of down. The overall puffiness and appearance is empty/limp and the jacket suddenly has several cold spots.
Although well within the two-year warranty period that Yoox and Herno offer, Yoox immediately referred to additional policies. They asked me to show proof from a local dressmaker to confirm the faulty production. They need proof that it wasn't caused by repeated use. Two local dressmakers told me that the puffiness on the jacket is gone and that it appears to be a manufacturing defect as the down is leaking through the fabric and stitching (irreparable for dressmakers). A premium item like this should be an investment for at least 5 years of normal use.
At Yoox's request, I provided proof from a dressmaker, but after sending this proof, Yoox is in total radio silence. Not taking any responsibility on warranty while acting as a reliable seller of premium brands. Now I am left with a practically new but unusable down parka.
Yoox doesn't reply, you can't call them and they surely not offer any replacement/repair or refund for a well funded warranty claim.
Wanted a cross body bag... Got shipped a backpack. Wanted to return it but was told... No return. Customer service said they never had such an item even though I had the invoice and item #. Great service... Surprised that they are associated with Net A Porter... Which is a class act... I guess
I love the items on this site, pricing could be better at times, and the refund process is slow as a sloth. Yoox.com could be the best reseller discount site but these issue rated a MeH!, but the selections got them to the four star mark. Those shopping with Yoox needs to write to them with every order, and demand better service for the prices charged. Automate the return process and give me my refund faster (as I have more shopping to do). Other than that I like what yoox.com offers and I use the web site as a reference point when shopping.
I have purchased from Yoox 5 times and I had 1 return. 3 of the 5 were Giuseppe Zanotti shoes which i kept. The other 2 were made in Italy. All were amazing quality. The customer service I experienced recently for my 1 return was stellar. I called and they logged my return of which I received my email confirmation immediately. I sent it back and my money was returned 2 days after my return was accepted. I will say that their contact us feature seems inconsistent. Thus call them instead.
These people are scammers & just rip you off by sending out complete garbage items & then when you send them back, they just say that you haven't returned them correctly, that the documentation is incorrect. Avoid like the plague.
I bought a leather jacket for my partner for Christmas with holiday delivery guarantee 2 weeks before Christmas. The jacket never arrived and now is 27/01/22 and when l contacted them to complain the only thing l heard was that my item don't have the holiday guarantee which is bull$#*! as it was all over the website that any item purchased before 15/12/21 have the deliver guarantee. I had a stressful time as the item never got delivered and had absolutely nothing to give to my partner on Christmas day.
Answer: Hadeel, I've been a customer close to 20 years. The past 10 years I've been purchasing from YOOX designers for between £5-10K annually. The past three years I've been sent items that was fake. I don't trust them anymore. I won't buy any expensive designer items from them anymore. There are plenty of professional companies out there on the web that won't cheat.
Answer: I have been with them for 3 and a half years now and I have never received fake items from them. Also they offer quite generous return policy, so you could buy a returnable item and examine it, and return it to them if you think it's a fake. Very simple. Usually the companies which sell fakes don't offer such a generous return policy.
