Been paying monthly listing for years, when I decided to stop they said I had a yearly contract that expired in 9 months from now. I never signed any contract with them and have been paying them monthly for 10+ years. I told them I was done with them and to remove my listing. They said no and continued billing me monthly + $25 fee for monthly non payment + interest. Stay away from these scam artists. Does anyone know how to get them off my back?
My husband has been receiving calls from yellow pages saying he owes money for services. The thing is my husband has a small business and does not advertise. I checked the website and they do have a small blurb about his business. However this only proves to me he did not place this add. It is filled with wrong information. It states he accepts credit card payment... he does not. Worst of all it states he can do certain services which my husband does not do because you need a special license. The last call stated they would be send a baliff to our home. My husband has left numerous messages and no one calls back. Again we are a small business and cannot afford to advertise let alone pay them off so they will leave us alone.
Seven years ago I filed bankruptcy. One thing that was included was yellow pages. The back in March the scammed me into agreeing to pay 599$. Now they are saying it's from March of 2022 to get out of the Chapter 7. Such a scam. I just hung up on them. Never got a bill. They are such a scam. Oh and they did nothing that helped my business that is no more.
I have retired after 40 years in business. I cancelled my ad over a year ago. They continued it. I called in October again to cancel, yet they still continued to bill me. They say it is automatic renewal, nonsense, I did not agree to this. The add was place without my consent. The absolute worst customer service. Funny no problem with Goldbook.
YP Called me one day and offered me a google ad seo solution with no mention or disclaimer that its only free for one month. He pushed me into registering for it and already had all my details already and signed me up. I had no idea what I had got into. Few months later they called me saying you have an outstanding amount of $600 and I told them at that time I didnt sign up for anything and there invoice lady insisted being a $#*! about it. Followed by that they escalated it to the collection group who were even bigger $#*!s saying just settle it its good for you bla bla bal even after I told them I was forced into this
A friend of mind pointed out a bad review when googling my business. I went to look and found it was true, but none of the names matched anyone we had ever worked for. It is quite apparent that the reviews were fake because of the language and bad grammar. Yellow Pages said they could not remove it because it didn't violate the rules. What rules? It only violates my business. JW.

Worst customer support, this company is a complete rip-off!
False claims, false information, these guys need to be stopped on what they charge and how they sell their services! There is no truth to any of their advertising claims'
I found that I got no business from my ad and after I closed my business, I could not close my account until my annual renewal date. I had understood it was monthly commitment. When I asked to speak to a manager, the call-taker refused.
So my payments over a year and four months bought me nothing. I had other sources of business, however, in the end I closed the business. When I attempted to close the account, I was told that I had to pay for it for another eight months. I just do not see this company as an outfit to do business with.
I didn't realize YellowPages has developed into a complete scam. Terrible service. I managed to finally cancel which was a task in itself and still haven't received my credit that I am entitled to. Please STAY AWAY!
Honestly just save yourself the headache and don't use any service they offer. They will charge you ridiculous fees and not cancel your contract even when you request it officially. They bully small companies in to paying, are subject to lawsuits all over the place. Just don't use the service you will regret it. One of the worst companies you will ever deal with. Again don't use their services
Yellow page is scam please when they call ignore them over the phone they made contract with my voice without signing a document now every month l recieve a invoice from them and they threat you with collection l just wrote my experience l hope it will work for someone
I would give them less than1star if I could.
Customer service is not helpful at all. You can never talk to anyone unless you leave voice messages for days. They have not helped my business at all. All they are is a money grab. They have not sent me a bill for 6 months then expect me to come up with the amount of $6,000.00 to pay them.
No wonder yellow pages is going under.
We purchased a business and absolved our contract with Yellow Pages, as we as current owners did not want to continue. We paid the amount outstanding and they still continue to bill us $5,000 a month and they do absolutely nothing for us! Do not enter a contract with them or purchase a company that has a contract with them. It's been a nightmare and their customer service is horrific!
I have never had such terrible service and been lied to from this company. I am not going to go into my whole experience but after years of loyalty to them they go and stab you in the back all for their benefit. Instead of trying to reach an reasonable agreement they have lost a customer for life and I will make sure that no one that I associate with will make that same mistake.

Trash service, trash placements, trash results. If you want to waste your money there is not much better ways you want advertising and exposure there isn't many worse than yellow pages.
My experiences were the same as everyone else's. SCARY! I emailed everyone I could think of. BBB got thru to them and my contract was cancelled. Why has the powers that be let them get away with their practices.
Never, Ever use YP! Worst company. Zero accountability, zero responsibility, zero customer service, lie about results of their marketing capabilities (which is approximately zero).
Never sign a contract with these crooks.
They do not provide any service after you sign up as a customer. If you want to terminate your account it will take you months till you reach a customer service member. I have been a victim of their service and they keep saying Customer Service will call me back. The billing won't stop even though you want it to stop. Very tricky service. Do not recommend.
Very bad experience with yellow pages never sign a contract with them they will tell you that you can cancel anytime but that is not true
And after they start telling you bunch of stories and everyone blame the others in the end they will rip you off
They sold me some contract and the service delivered was absolutely non-existent. M, zero results, zero customer service, zero genuine help aside from telling me that I'm stuck in their godamn contract. They absolutely could care less, worse experience ever, if I could sue them I would. Do NOT deal with YP!
Answer: Hire a lawyer. They are scam artists... trust me. Stay far away from this company
Answer: Our contractual terms are for a 12-month period (or a 6-month period for certain products). Customers are able to cancel their contract with Yellow Pages by providing notice 3 months before the expiry of the term. If not, contracts automatically renew, as mentioned in our terms and conditions. We invite you to contact us at 1-844-875-4290 to discuss this further. Thank you.
Answer: They also posted my personal information to their site without permission. I recommend reporting them to Canada's Anti-spam regulatory body. You can report them here: https://www.fightspam.gc.ca/eic/site/030.nsf/frm-eng/MMCN-9EZV6S
Answer: My son in high school was harassed by a telemarketer and said no. He created an IT website in HS for a class. Two months later I got an invoice for $57 month. I told them my son has a Communication Learning Disability, a Medical Disability and is being treated for PTSD. They refused to help. I will go to BBB and ask my lawyer. My son should have hung up but they coerced him and he was too young and naive to know better. Shame on them!
