First the clerk was very rude. The room had a bad odor and was bathroom looked awful.
After the first night my wife complained of itching. I decided to find another Hotel for the rest of my stay and they refused to refund me the amount. I will never stay there again and will think twice about any Wyndham property.
The foreigners that have taking reservation need customer service training in my opinion. They also have to work on their speed. If Wyndham makes it difficult for customers to make reservations, customers will make fewer reservations.
Nicholas in Hurricane UT was awesome and took such good care of us. We came in late after working a 14hr day and our tv didn't work. He came up and tried to fix it but couldn't, so he put us in a different room and apologize for the inconvenience. That's the service every hotel needs
NO FREE SHUTTLE! The website states that Baymont by Wyndham Florida Mall offers a shuttle to area attractions like SeaWorld and Disney. This is a lie! They call you a taxi which you then have to pay for. This cost us $25 each way for our trips to SeaWorld and Aquatica. We only chose this dump to save money on parking, and it wound up being much more expensive.
On to the hotel itself: very scary area, stained carpet, crummy AC in room, tiny old TV, broken tiles in bathroom, wonky ice machine, exposed wood beams holding up the breakfast room ceiling, a random sketchy "spa" on the main floor. The only high point is the breakfast waffles. The rest of the options are bread, plain bagels, Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops. In summary: don't stay here.
I was disappointed with the quality and condition of the Hotel + my rooms dirty and stained furnishings and missing amenities such as a missing coffee/tea maker in my room., I called the desk on 3 occasions for the coffee maker that was not supplied or guaranteed amenities in my room and while on the telephone with the front desk was left on hold and possibly forgotten. The property was dirty and unkempt with garbage and cigarette butts and equal to some people around the hotel property site. The viewed ratings of 3/5-4/5 are wrong and equal to = 2/5
I am getting charged a higher room rate than when I booked on your website. I was recently asked for a cash deposit of $50 on top of charging my credit card; this was refunded when I left. Also, observe strict rules of section 8 housing posted at hotels.
Whyndam don't tell you the following.
1. You will get charged a higher room rate than when you book on the Whyndam website.
2. You must have cash for a deposit; this will be refunded when you leave.
3. Follow guidelines for section 8 housing.
I have stayed at La Quinta Inns for several years with great results. However, on 3/19/22 we stayed at a Wyndam (Microtel Inn) in Baton Rouge, La. The room was not to clean and the bed was unbelievable. It rocked from side to side. I will not stay at a Wyndam again.
First off it is 4th of July and my anniversary and I have to come to this nasty place I expect my money back or I will be seeing a lawyer. I called this morning and said hot tub was working and of course it's not pool area very contaminated with feces and mold. I have mold and dirt everywhere in room and I ordered a suite that supposed to have a door but didn't. I couldn't drive all the way back to Ohio and nothing else available. We paid $636.95 for 3 nights in Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg, PA for a room that did not have microwave, refrigerator and working WiFi. The room with 2 queen beds was equipped with 1 (one) chair, 2 decaf (no regular) coffee bags, 4 cups with 2 lids. Empty wrapping paper from a candy bar was laying on the floor. Price did not include breakfast, that could be ordered for additional $15.00 per person. Swimming pool was crowded throughout the whole time of our stay and when I went there once at 9:30PM there were no clean towels left. Hotel has 3 elevators but, on many occasions, we had to stand in line to be able to use them. The hallway on the 6th floor did not even have working A/C and the air was hot and stuffy. We have Blue Membership card but just because we booked the room via 3rd party website, we could not collect points! My advise is to stay away from Wyndham Hotels as we definitely will never patronize them again!
Black mold in the room! This room should be shut down until fixed. Baymont by Wyndham in Flagg staff Arizona room #334. Offered a ten percent discount?! And hung up on repeatedly by Nate. And then threatened to have the police called on us! This is a health hazard! Then when complaining toWyndham customer care we were told to wait 5-7 day for a response. We have pictures and videos as well. This horrible customer service! Never going to book with anyone that's affiliated with this company. Great thing about social media is word spreads quick!
Until tonight I had a good image of Wyndham hotels. Our stay in a Baymont by Wyndham in Davenport was absolutely disgusting. The building is run down, the pictures on the Internet were not accurate. The lobby was not clean, it would be better to say what was clean... nothing. We had a reservation at another Wyndham hotel later in our trip. Not anyore or ever again.
Had reservations at the one in Texarkana Texas when we arrived on last Saturday we went to check our room and found human feces on the bed! We told the front desk about it and they said they were going to clean the room. We left and returned later on that night to find they just came in and just threw another comforter on the bed! They never took the the one off with the feces on it! Just NASTY! I will never ever book with them again! We did go HOME to Dallas after that!
On March 29th 2022 I was staying at Supereight at 8094 Washington Blvd in Jessup, MD. I extended my stay one more night, and paid at 5:30 AM. The desk clerk said the charge is $66.00, when he asked me to sign the receipt, I saw that it was $65.32. I asked him for my change, he said "this is not a gas station" we don't give change. I had too threaten to call the police in order to get my change and a receipt.
I paid $199.00 for a vacation of my choice in decemberin which I had a year to take. I was suppose to be mailed information on how to book my vacation and I have yet to receive any information. I have sent several emails and no one has answered. I think this is ridiculous way to run a business. I have bought these from bass pro before and never had a problem. I would appreciate a answer on this soon.

Super 8 by Wyndam 1033 airport rd Allentown PA *******. Made reservation JUST 1 month ago for 3 young ladies under 21. Specifically spoke to this hotel which stated they did not have a over 21 policy. Girls drive 5 hours from home to be told that they JUST changed their policy! When we called and asked the lady at the front desk what the girls are supposed to do she had an attitude and said well I don't know but I gave them their money back! REALLY gave the money back and do what? Sleep in the car? Drive another 5 hours back home and loss the money they spent to attend a concert there? I will NEVER stay at any hotel that is affiliated with Wyndam again.
I had a wonderful stay at the motel. Felicia Mintz was such a great person and show us such a great time. She helped us with everything. She is such a hard worker and such a great person. I will be staying there at that motel more often just because of her. Not only did she treat us good us good she treated us like family.
Never had an issue when Laquinta was a standalone brand, every since they merged with Wyndham there has been issue after issue. Last straw was this past weekend with stay at Microtel in Houma LA, since all hotels were booked by offshore companies they were the only hotel with vacancy. The room had no heat and the temp was in the low 50s. I asked the owners for a new room they said no because they were the only hotel with vacancies in the area. I requested a reduced rate and I go buy a portable heater they refused and said there are no other hotel I can stay at in the area and they will not work with me and they will have a technician look at it tomorrow when I check out. Called customer service and they said the property has 10 days to send them a resolution before they step in. They didn't have 10 days to take money out my account. I will know use another brand to stay instead of using wyndham as the only brand I used.
We are on a vacation to the Canadian Maritimes. We booked the Microtel Wyndham in Summerside PEI a month in advance using a Visa Debit card for a 2 night stay to visit family. When we arrived, we were told that a 'real' credit card was required, even though we booked with the same card. We were treated dismissively and with contempt by the front desk, and by Wyndham customer service when we called. We were informed that no hotels in PEI booked rooms without credit cards. We left and got a hotel a couple of blocks away with the same card, so we were lied to as well Wyndham wrecks vacations.
Don't ever stay here… because I misplaced my key card and wasn't the person who reserved the room … the service desk wouldn't let me in even though I knew the name, number, address and license who I checked in with!
They were happy to let me spend the night outside, in Canada, in the winter! Biggest joke ever.
Baymont Hotel Evansville In. Location was great. Had a pleasant stayed there 5 years ago. Had reservations for 9/28/23-10/5/23. One look at the room and found it totally disgusting. Elevators were out so only using rooms on 1st floor. Bathroom ceiling paint and part of ceiling peeling away and hanging down, black mold (could actually scrape it off) around tub. Had Gregg come down to room, he looked at it and said why should that bother you, I see no problem. Other people don't complain. Beds looked slept in with just sheets pulled up. He showed us another room, no better. We spent the afternoon calling around and going to different hotels as this was the weekend of a marathon and just prior to fall festival. We found another hotel and went back to Baymont. He said we owed for that night because after checkout time and he did not have housekeeping to "clean" the room and rent it out for the night. After much going back and forth and him telling us we were rude the charges were taken off. Defintely does not conform to Wyndham's standards.Had also received a call the day before telling us their credit card machine not working and to bring cash. Unbelievable experience!

Answer: A little of both... Beware. Only use cash... NEVER give them your credit card or debit card! They stole $50.oo dollars from me... and I proved it... but they don't care and they won't give it back. Other problems too... like broken stair cases with yellow crime tape wrapped about them. Don't go there!
