In our family, we have purchased several products from Wayfair. Every time we've had an issue with the product. The quality is cheap and most likely unusable. If they had decent customer service and return policies, then at least we could get a refund for junk. But we can't. And I can't even review the product on my account page, which should be illegal. I do not recommend this company. With Amazon and other companies, they will allow returns or refunds, even months after the return date has expired, if their product is not good. Wayfair is not that way. Don't waste your money using them. Or your time.
I recently ordered a gas grill from WayFair on June 8th, with an expected delivery date of June 12th. However, as of today, 6/16/24, the item has yet to be shipped.
I was excited about receiving the grill in time for summer gatherings, but unfortunately, the delay has been disappointing. Despite the initial promise of a prompt delivery, there has been no communication regarding the delay or when I can expect the item to be shipped. I called on June 12 and was told the item would be expediated.
It was good to get to speak with a person they have a customer service number.
However, the main issue has been the lack of transparency and communication regarding the delay. It's frustrating to not have clarity on when the grill will arrive, especially when planning events around its use.

I am extremely disappointed with Wayfair's customer service. I experienced repeated dishonesty regarding shipping and delivery dates. My order was delayed three times, and despite multiple assurances, it never arrived. On the fourth attempt, they sent a replacement because they couldn't locate the original order, only to later claim it was out of stock. This ordeal cost me additional money, and I am furious with the lack of accountability from Wayfair. If you need items shipped on time, stay far away from this company.

I ordered many things from them. Recently I ordered one floor lamp for $75. The asked me so many questions about the product. My engineer partner looked at it and finalized that it was defective electrical wire. It took me long time to figure it out, just 31 days (I wasted time here and there. Wanted the damned lamp to work). I work in healthcare. I do not have time to figure out a lamp.
In the future, I will only buy from a store to test if it is working before I take it home.

I ordered a gazebo from this company it said it would arrive on May 6th and I was happy cause I was going on vacation and I would be back may 5th. I get home and I get my emails saying it arrived on the 4th and they left it right on my door step where the world could see it not infront of our truck either at 7am in the morning no signature no doorbell so my daughter could get it no knock no nothing. I have placed an order for Under Cabinet Range Hood on Mar 30,2024. The delivery date mentioned was April 04,2024.
When I placed a similar order with the Home Depot, it was said that the delivery date is in May. Thinking that Mayfair would deliver earlier, I had cancelled my Home Deport order and placed the order with Wayfair. Fifteen days ago, when I called to check, it was confirmed that the delivery date is 1st May, 2024. Two days ago, again the delivery date is changed to 15th May, 2024 and I am not sure Wayfair would stick to this date.
Because of this uncertain delivery schedule, my project had to wait. The strange part is that when I had contacted the customer support, they simply said that there is an option to cancel, which I am already aware. Such unprofessional attitude and at the same time giving false delivery dates just to get the business, amounts to unethical business practice.
We placed an order for a new dining room table on 22nd March with a delivery date for 16th April.
We then received an email on 19th April informing ourselves that spare parts were required and delivery would be pushed to 23rd of April.
After no delivery we contacted customer services on 25th and were informed a whole new table needed re ordered and delivery would now be the end of May.
Zero communication to inform us of these delays until we chased them up.
No offer of compensation for a 2 month wait despite the table being paid in full.

The Tech was disrespectful & refused to carry the boxes to our bedrooms, knowing we were disabled, we order the white glove service, which they charged us twice for the bed installation, but yet the tech they had sent made it very clear rudely that, taking boxes to the rooms is not his responsibility. Heartless!
How else can you serve those who are elderly & disbledwhen it comes to this white glove service, something so simple, he wouldn't do. Wayfair did nothing to compensate our frustrations as disabled veterans at all, they just rescheduled us 2 days later, and told us to call them before tech arrives, and they'll tell the tech to move boxes to location. How inconvenient!

They scheduled for a wed. Girl texted me and she was one block away. Gave her directions. She text me after that and I told her I would go meet her to show her the street. Never heard from her again. Texted her and asked her if she was still coming. No answer.

I recently purchase a bed from Wayfair, but unfortunately I this was a terrible experience. The attached images clearly depict that the bed advertised by Wayfair differs from the one shipped to me. Following is why I am deeply disappointed regarding this purchase and the handling of the matter by Wayfair.
1. Despite already having paid for a handyman to remove my old bed and bring the box upstairs (as he was the person I hired to assemble the new one), I am now faced with additional expenses to hire him again to repack and bring the bed downstairs.
2. I am required to arrange my schedule to be present at home for the entire day for the pickup.
3. I am obligated to await the receipt of the bed by your company before a refund can be processed.
4. As a result, I am left without a bed and will have to resort to sleeping on the floor until I am able to purchase a replacement after the refund is processed.
Up to this point, Wayfair has taken no action to compensate for the inconvenience and distress caused, not even offering an apology.

Expect to pay more for shipping back than you paid for shipping to your home or they will put you through an entire return process only to tell you that they can't allow it because none of their products are return-able. Want to speak to customer service? Expect AI or a bot and no real person. Quality is always iffy and you can probably find the product they are selling on a different website for cheaper. Support someone on etsy and do not use this garbage website.
I ordered a toilet from Wayfair on March 5,2024. I was supposed to get it March 12,2024. It never came in. I checked the tracking and was unable to track it. It just said ordered and not delivered yet or not on its way. I called them. They promised that would get there no later than the 19th which is a Tuesday. Then Monday night they sent me a message that I will get it on Wednesday morning. I called them because my contractor is coming to install the toilet because I need it then and they said they have no available delivery times so sorry not sorry we can only deliver Wednesday. This delivery was eight days overdue no way to track it and told last minute that it wasn't gonna be delivered till Wednesday. I will never use Wayfair again. They are unreliable. The customer service sucks and offered no compensation.
BRYLA UPHOLSTERED BED by Red Barrel Studio - ordered October 2023. Gorgeous headboard and footboard (king size). However, the platform base is "supported" by wooden legs that screw into thin wooden slats. Right from the beginning, these supports were not stable. Yesterday, the platform base BROKE completely. The "good deal" of $400 incl tax isn't a deal at all. My only option is to pay a carpenter to re-build a better base OR pay for dump fees. I think I'll purchase a good quality bed, the extra money is worth it. If you're tempted to buy this bed because it looks good, think of flushing $400 down the toilet, because the bed won't last. FYI, I am a slender person.
We ordered a murphy bed. We received extra pieces, I contacted Wayfair several times to notify them, to reach a solution. They told me 48 hours to process any request, it is now day three and I had to contact them again. They finally decided it would be best for me to ship the extra pieces back. I asked for some sort of discount for the amount of time and effort it has taken me to rectify their mistake, they let me know that they can only offer 10% on a future purchase. I will not be purchasing from Wayfair again.
