I'm not sure why I even bother looking at Walmart's website anymore. So many of the products are out of stock, unavailable or even more expensive than elsewhere. The worst are third party sellers. No background checks whatsoever. With the well known auction site, this is the next best gathering place for fraudsters and dishonest people of all kind. Since Walmart is not interested in fixing this issue like others online apps/websites have done, well, I guess these are the ones that will get my $.

"Buyers beware" alert for buying online Walmart masks.
I ordered two orders of 50 masks each.
The masks came in two clear cello bags(inside a mailer bag) with zero product and vendor info.
One bag was short 4 masks, the other bag had numerous dirty masks(see photo).
Price was more expensive than most other vendors, but I thought if Walmart sells it, the product may be better... not!.
No returns on masks. A friend who also ordered this product never got her order. She tried to get a refund but could not get through Walmart's busy customer service phone line on repeated attempts. I tried to put this review on the Walmart website but they did not post it. Do not risk buying unsanitary masks that may not show up from Walmart.

I've used this site countless times. For online orders delivered to your house: prices are the best available anywhere. We bought our Element flat screen for $60 less than Target's in store price. For online site-to-store: Great service, quick delivery and the Walmart we go to has a special line for site-to-store at the customer service desk, so I didn't have to wait in the long line. For the mobil app: I set my favorite store, and I am able to shop online, but check to see if they have it in stock. I've never had a problem with that. It's always been accurate for me. I attached a picture of my Element Tv that I purchased around Christmas 2014.

W+. Is really nice. You get 10¢ off a gallon of gas, paramount plus basic to stream, discounts and credits for certain purchases. If you go in stores you can use phone to scan your groceries as you go along. Walmart.com always makes.things right if there is ever an issue. They DONT take hours to get it resolved. You actually get items from Walmart.com with in 1-3 days. I will use Walmart instead of Amazon from now on.

Unlike Amazon.com here at Walmart you're dealing with a third party, so you need to wait until the third party confirm that everything is ok for you to get your money back!

Return like Amazon should be auto populated, I have to chase down my return since does not show up any where. So not recommended.

Constant receiving damaged products like smashed breads and snacks, broken eggs (a lot of broken eggs like 13 out of 60) Packages with holes in them, missing items that I was charged for...etc. Some delivery drivers are nice, but some are miserable and just should not be interacting with customers.

If you are disabled like I am and this is your only option for groceries at reasonable prices, you're screwed like me. If you have any other option at all then avoid Walmart delivery.

Rapid decline
June 24, 2024

Walmart was once a reliable place to pick up just about anything you might need for the home and then some. But ever since Walmart stated that they were "looking forward to working with the Biden administration", I have seen nothing but rapid decline. Sacrificing profit over quality has killed your chain. Serving the public needs is what makes a successful business and community.

I am so thankful for the amazing Walmart Delivery service that I have been using for the past two years. With having two toddlers, it has kept me from going insane by not having to shop in the store where they fuss or fight over whatever they see. My items always come on time and I am so thankful that I can get basically anything I need all from one website. Thank you so much!

I'm a total stationery nerd and went to Walmart to look for a new dotted journal to turn into a bullet journal for self care and personal/family stuff. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality. I purchased a white "Exceed" journal with dotted pages, 2 bookmark ribbons, and an elastic band to hold the book together when not in use. I'm loving it and would buy again. If you're a stationery snob or just want to try a new notebook, give this one a try. Mine is A5 size I believe.

It can depend on which Walmart location you chose to shop in BUT...
For the most part, I find that the morning time is the best time for me because the store is less crowded. When it's less crowded, I can browse around very comfortably and find some of the best prices while discovering new brands as well. I love using self checkout because the long lines for cash registers can be a pain due to limited staffing. But overall, I can generally find what I need when the stocking and signage is on point.

I will not go inside walmart unless its a must. When you ask for assistance no one is able to help or they dont know and keep walking. I will only shop online for some groceries. Online pick up is the only great option for walmart. They have went down hill over the last 5 years.

I purchased some great value wing selections one afternoon from my local Walmart. We have purchased these many times before and they've always been very tasty for the price.

I always boil the wings and watch them close so they are not undercooked. Tonight while we were boiling them we noticed white things sticking out and floating around while still attached to the actual wing.

I scooped one out and realized they still had their feathers attached. Needless to say, we did not consume the feathered wings

Delivery issue
August 10, 2022

Be careful what you order from walmart for delivery. I just had a delivery of a very personal item from walmart. It was delivered without being secured in a sack and was tossed on my front porch. This can be very embarrassing. I complained to the pick up department and she stated that it must have been door dash that delivered it. I did point out that Wal Mart didn't properly package it. I did talk to the assistant store manager and she is going to remedy the situation by possibly double bagging items such as this. She related that they didn't have the larger bags. I hope corporate will supply them with appropriate bags. I don't know how to transfer the photo of the tag on the item to this review.

Too many times I find myself in a walmart store looking for what I need. Variety and convenience keep me coming back, but I prefer Target. I'm not sure why anyone would shop on walmart.com when there are so many other better online shopping avenues like amazon.com.

Walmart is a retail giant with significant influence on the global market. Its strengths lie in its vast product selection, competitive pricing, and extensive network of stores and online services, making it highly accessible to a broad range of customers. Walmart's ability to offer low prices is a major draw for consumers, especially in regions where affordability is a key concern.

However, Walmart's business practices have sparked considerable debate. The company has faced criticism over labor practices, including concerns about low wages, worker treatment, and the impact on small businesses. Additionally, its environmental practices and the way it affects local economies have been scrutinized.

On the positive side, Walmart has made strides in sustainability efforts, such as reducing waste and increasing the availability of eco-friendly products. It has also invested in technology to improve the shopping experience, including expanding its e-commerce platform and introducing innovations like online grocery pickup and delivery.

Overall, Walmart is a powerhouse in the retail industry, offering convenience and affordability but facing ongoing challenges related to corporate responsibility, ethical practices, and adapting to changing consumer expectations.

Do NOT buy from Walmart.com. It is is widely known that Walmart's priority is NOT Walmart.com sales, and they have directed internal staff to not respond to seller or customer complaints about processes for selling or buying merchandise on this network. In fact, I was told by an internal strategy manager that Walmart needs to put a warning on the Walmart.com website to NOT to buy goods from online as both Sellers and the associated customers will not be supported. THIS IS WHY buying through the Walmart Marketplace WILL NEVER BE as good an experience as buying through Amazon. Customers and shareholders would be better off if Walmart closed down the entire online network as Walmart obviously does not care about this network.

Called about order placing issue where I could not take advantage of the free shipping offer for 30 days. The man I spoke to disagreed with what it said on the website even after I repeated it four times as if he did not understand and then he said something like he didn't like the language I was using! I asked to speak to a Supervisor twice and he eventually said he would transfer me but just left on hold. At approximately 13 min. He said he was transferring me to his Supervisor. The Supervisor was better to deal with but was unable to resolve the order issue, as a result of very poor website design so I did not place the order after all for the important item I could not purchase locally but should have been able to! Was on phone for about 29 1/2 minutes.

Too bad simply trying to purchase an item they had in stock online but not in a local store turned into a stressful debacle. If the item was in a local store, a person could simply buy it and leave with it.

Bought a 65" Samsung TV at the 6000 Coit Rd, Plano,TX Walmart in April 2024. The TV quit working July 2024. Samsung instructed me to return it to the retailer, Walmart. Walmart would not accept the return. It was beyond 90 days. Bottom line…Samsung/Walmart sold a defective TV then conspired to make certain that the TV could not be returned. Beware of the scam that Walmart and Samsung are pulling on the public at large.
