Down to earth information that everybody should consult if you are using a medicine. This kind of sites make internet like a big library, a great pleace.
Ever since Walgreens took over Rite Aid in Methuen Mass, the customer service at the pharmacy has tanked. It's almost as if their mission it to make it as difficult as possible to pick up a prescription or drop one off. Today I brought in a new prescription for my dog who is having seizures. I gave all the info requested. I leave and receive a call 10 mins later that I have to go back and give them my license before they will even begin to fill the script. I have been going to this pharmacy for 14 years! They know me. I ask if I can text a copy of my license or email it. No, I have to go in. I go back and all they do is write down a number from my license... where is the customer service here. I should have been able to read the number or send a copy of my license. Oh and now I'm told they don't have enough for the full script so getting one script filled will take 4 visits of waiting in a line. I asked for a flu shot a couple months ago and the pharmacist was frustrated with my request telling me she was busy restocking something. So I said I'd get another time. Next time I ask, they are all out of it. It's as if their goal is to make everyone wait as long as possible. On the off chance you go and there's no line, you can get excited thinking you'll be in and out. But nope, 6 people behind the counter and you STILL stand there for 5 mins before they ask for you. By that time, there are others waiting behind me. I live close to this pharmacy but may be switching to another pharmacy. It's awful.
I was filling my prescriptions at Walgreens on North Avenue in Grand Junction Colorado until one of the pharmacists decided he knew more than my doctor and was going to refill my necessary pain medication when he wanted to.
I told him my doctor said this was the course that was best for me, but this jackass proceeded to inform me he was a doctor as well and knew more about my health than an actual medical doctor.
He doesn't even know why I need the pain medication and just argued with me instead of listening to me. I am going to report this pharmacist to whoever I need to and work on getting him fired no matter what it takes.
I believe I'm going to contact an attorney as well to find out if I can file a lawsuit against him for interfering in my medical care.
Maybe if more of these idiots got sued, they would stop interfering.
He told me if I canceled my prescription there, I would never be able to fill another prescription with any Walgreens.
I wonder if Walgreens likes pharmacists driving their customers that make them money to different pharmacies.
I did change pharmacies because I don't take kindly to threats who think they are actual doctors.
What is he a doctor of? Did he get a medical degree from McDonald's Clown College?
Walgreens mail service received my refill order for six meds on dec. 5. They claim they filled the order on December. 6 for delivery by dec. 13.on December. 27 I called and told them I had run out of meds and the rep said they would overnite deliver. First lie. Three days pass with no meds. I call again on December. 29 and rep in effect claims they never promised overnite delivery and they would call me back in four days. Second and third lies. No call on Tuesday so I call them on Wednesday and they claim they can't fill prescription on my plan since the meds were so recently filled. I explain that I called delivery service and they say I didn't get delivery because Walgreens never placed the meds with them. Walgreens however keeps looking at their computer and seeing a pending note. I explain to them that if they would call their delivery service they would find prescriptions never reached their hands. So, they call my Dr. and get half of my prescriptions reordered and call me telling me my insurer won't cover cost since per their records I just had these meds refilled on December 5. Apparently Walgreens wants to treat an order for vital meds as having been delivered since they are too lazy to call the delivery company and too cheap to send the medications and to sort out where they screwed up in the first place. I am meanwhile at risk of heart and stroke problems and am suffering, insomnia, headaches and nausea while they continue their grossly negligent inaction and continue to lie.
I went to Walgreens, Spring Cypress Rd, Tomball, on 1-21-23 in the evening, to print pictures of trip we took with our grandson. By 9:00 p:m the pictures were printed out and approved and I was suppose to pick them up, bound with a GBC spiral binding, Sunday Morning before 10:00,1-22-23 for the birthday party that day at one o'clock. It was a major part of the present. Sunday, 1-22-23 I went to store and stood waiting for the employee, Tiffany, to finish printing some posters. I requested my book of photos and was told Tiffany had
Not started on the binding yet. This was 11:30 and Tiffany got to work at 7:30. I know she was left a note from the previous night to bind these pictures. No apology or offer to do the book right then was offered by Tiffany. In fact, she had a bad attitude. I was really disappointed with this service. I called and left a message on Monday for the manager of the store to call me on my cell phone. I heard nothing back from the manager either. I was extremely inconvenienced and won't trust this service at Walgreens again.
Walgreens quoted me a price of $272.00 for my prescription for Risperidone. I called a locally owned pharmacy (Granite Pharmacy) and they quoted me a price of $21.00 for the exact same prescription! Walgreens is definitely commiting Medicare FRAUD by charging the government 13 times more for my medication. UNBELIEVABLE!
When I don't feel like going to a big grocery store I go to Walgreens. Walgreens stores are always supplied with basic necessary items. ALWAYS NICELY STOCKED. Representatives are always helpful online as in person. Love Walgreens.
I've ordered from drugstore.com for years and have always been happy. Their email reminders are helpful so that I can remember what I ordered and order it again.
Stopped ordering from them two years ago when my order arrived literally 'frozen'. Frozen shampoo, frozen skin cleaners.
I contacted them, and they basically told me 'it's winter'.
After many delays in filling my prescription, I asked that your pharmacy department simply return my script as I would get it filled elsewhere. I took this action after being told the prescription would be ready in an hour--it was not. I was asked to be patient as it would take another 40 minutes-it wasn't ready then either; so, i waited another 30 minutes. During all of this time, no one from the pharmacy staff was at either the pick up or consultation station. They were in "the back" laughing and talking on the telephone while I wondered about the hold up. When I had enough of their inattention, I asked for my prescription to be returned as I reference in my first sentence above (It took nearly 30 minutes to get somebody with whom I could make the request.) At that time, I was inexplicably told that "Oh--it's ready." Then it took another 30 minutes for someone to come to the pick up counter to give me my order and charge me for the medication? I had to fairly yell at one of the pharmacists in "the back" to get anyone to notice me even then. During this entire experience, it was as if I was invisible. The staff at the pharmacy desk could have cared less about providing service. The person at the desk was a pharmacy technician trainee. It was apparent he had received no training.
You can write this review off as the asinine comments of a jackass. You do so at your own risk. I am trying to assist and I can't help but feeling that my experience was not an isolated one.
This blatant lapse in your customer service occurred in Portland, OR, at the Walgreens store on Caesar Chavez Blvd.
Very good product. I have got good experience with the drug store. The best place to find any type of medicine. I use an online service to order my meds from Walgreens. I receive friendly reminders.
VisionDirect.com seems to have two major problems. Firstly, there is no system of inventory control on their website. When you order a product, you have no idea if they have it in stock, thus you might get your contacts in three days or two weeks. Even something simple, like - "In Stock" / "In Stock in 3 Days", etc - would go a long way to assisting customers in their buying decisions.
The next main problem, is that when you call the customer service reps (who incidentally, are readily available 24 hours a day), they have no access to inventory levels. Seriously, they are the voice of the company, and they have no access to useful information. I can only assume that's why wait times to speak to them are so short - as once you get hold of them, they have nothing useful to say.
Luckily, if you are on your last pair of contacts, leaving in a pair of Contact Lenses for a couple of weeks more is no big problem, so there is no urgent reason for VisionDirect to fix this.
Then, once VisionDirect has your order, they then like to keep shipping delays a secret. They have no system in place to pro-actively inform customers; and why should they, Customers will only bother then with tiresome questions, such as "Why do my eyes sting", and "What are these red spot appearing near my nose?'
Overall there are many better Contact Lens providers to choose from. If your eyes are important to you. You should probably shop elsewhere.
There are no words to describe the superb knowledge and level of service i receive coming to the Folly road S. C location. Always helpful and kind. Above and beyond, thank you!
Both my wife and I are Seniors. My wife has found better pricing on hair care products specifically for color maintenance, shampoos etc. Pricing of over the counter vitamins and unique supplements.
Great convenience when you're sick and lazy and don't want to walk your $#*! to the drugstore. They also have good discounts so pay attention if you want to save some money.
I am very DISGUSTED with this company. They advertised the EXACT product that I wanted directly from their website as a woman's fragrance. I received the product and it was clearly the MENS product listed under the woman's fragrance tag. Bad enough as I REALLY wanted the correct product but then they tried to say it was the VENDOR'S mistake... I checked again and it was still on the site listed as a woman's fragrance 1.5 weeks later. I copied the EXACT listing from their website and sent AGAIN... they still tried to blame someone else. THE WORST OF IT WAS THAT IF THEY SEND YOU THE WRONG PRODUCT >>>>YOU have to pay the shipping cost and they will then graciously give you a STORE CREDIT for the amount spent! REALLY! Like I want to spend more $$ with them in any way?
They feel like wrong Rx contacts, very blurry and give me migraines. I tried another pair, still can't see well and had to squint my eyes a lot. Went and got some from Target, perfect! Same brand, same Rx. I called and this lady with a BIG attitude answered the phone and offered me 25% refund for store credit on only the unopened boxes? Really? You're customer service or customer hustler? Stupid lady actually argued with me how it's not their fault if manufacture has defect, after explaining to her that if I bought a coffee maker form Walmart and it didn't work, I can return it, and she still replied it's not their fault! Yes it is you dumb-$#*! because you're the retailer and it's your responsibility to make your customers happy and be accountable. After a few minutes I just exploded on her, no bad words, just are you listening to yourself? You take a month to ship and then you tell me I'm stuck with them? You people should be out of business and the way you are doing business, you will be soon because you will only scam me ONCE! And if you can't be nice or even act like you are then don't call yourself customer service representative coz you represent the scammers that hired you, you big attitude and little brained girl!
I HIGHLY suggest you all go somewhere other than Walgreens. I have had so many issues with the Walgreens Pharmacy manager in Torrington, CT. Over and over, they send you texts saying your scripts are ready and then, because if you're disabled, you ask someone to get it for you, they tell your caretaker that theres nothing ready. It's a real pain in the butt when you have to go someplace multiple times because they lie to you. I called to ask if it was ready and they say it's ready.
The pharmacy manager will NEVER let you finish a sentence and refunds a mistake when not even given the proper insurance cause he won't let you finish a sentence.
I will use up my points and will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN and suggest you save yourself the headache.
If you pay with paypal, you cannot cancel even a minute after, even if the cancel link is active. So you go through the process of returning the item and then you have to carefully follow your refund, as it may never come unless you check on it and call them again! I once had to call at least twice to get my refund.
A more recent experience was when I called customer service because there was an error in the listed product and I was shipped the wrong product. Unlike a site like Amazon, I always get the feeling that they think you are a crook if you are trying to return a product. (I am from another nation and I don't have a typical American accent, so that may add to their "fears"). The first time I called the rep was so rude it was amazing. He cut the line on me. I called again and got another rep who, after a lengthy interrogation where I had to read all the ingredients in the product I had received, he understands the issue and agrees to send me the correct product. However I don't get a refund for the wrong product, even though I have to wait, and I don't know until when to get the correct product.
I was not new customer and have shopped at the drugstore.com often. I think they can be sleazy about refunds and wonder if all the glowing comments about them on this site are manufactured reviews.
KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING BECAUSE IT IS WORKING 100%. YES I HAVE MY CHOICE TO GO ANYWHERE YET I PREFER TO COME TO YOUR LOCATION BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE CINDY, THI, PATTI, CHRISTINE & BROOKLYN THAT HAVE ALWAYS SHOWN THEY CARE & DO GO THAT EXTRA MILE WHEN NEEDED FOR THEIR PATIENTS LIKE ME. (YES I AM A CUSTOMER BUT THEY MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I AM A PATIENT). AWESOME JOB LADIES, KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU DO BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL TOP SHELF & WE COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER TEAM TO FILL OUR NEEDS THEN YOU ALL.
Answer: Absolutely not. Bottom of the line products marked up. Corporate concentrates solely on cutting costs, stock prices and separating as many suckers as possible from their money.
