I ordered two pair of glasses on 1/11/2023... the sunglasses ( single prescription) came in on "promise date" on receipt of 1/25.
The progressive lens have never arrived I called and they tell me they will not be in until 2/22.
40 DAYS TO MAKE A PAIR OF GLASSES! I can't see to drive... this is not acceptable service.
They could not offer me a reason or any other options.
Tried an eye appt. Today in Millbury. Dr. Didn't even thoroughly examine my eyesight with different lens options. Usually a doctor would ask if one view is better than a second and keep going until the letters you're reading are crystal clear. He did none of that. Just asked me if I could read the letters - that was it. No choice comparisons. I specifically told him I wasn't seeing great with my current glasses, so he should have understood my eyesight changed. My son got glasses there and the lenses just kept falling out and their solution was to keep coming back to have them put back in. Cheap glasses but huge cost. I can buy glasses full price elsewhere for the same cost as their "deals".
Its February 2nd and I STILL do not have glasses! My appointment was in December! My glasses were ordered in December! The 2 weeks came and went, I never heard anything, so I called after 3 weeks. I was told the lab LOST my glasses! So they told me I probably had to pick new frames, no, wait, they found them in Rochester. Now they send them to the lab with a rush on them and Monday will be the two weeks again, the online progress still shows "making", so I'm assuming I will not have them again in two weeks. Ridiculous! Never going here again, and I will inform others. I have been a customer here for along time, but not sure what has happened! Rochester, MN store.
Worst experience I ever had getting glasses upsold me even though I had the paperwork from last purchase and gave me wrong glasses and replacements took forever. I just cancelled and another problem you have to wait 2 weeks to get your money back. I wouldn't go there at all!
In October I bought glasses with with lenses, it cost me 170 without insurance! Just the other day I went and had new lenses put in with insurance and it was 150! Wtf y'all be over charging people. I would leave zero stars if I could
From the time I arrived I felt as if I inconvenienced them. The employee working at the time (Ashley) did not make me feel like they enjoyed having my business at all. Poor Customer service all around. Highly DO NOT recommend this business unless Ashley and Dr. Broussard@ metarie location has been dismissed of their duties.
I bought glasses the RX was changed twice I asked for refund they keep telling me after 2 months well a check was processed but no check number or reference number a big run around
Visionworks told me my brand of contacts was discontinued and tried to switch me to a brand that was $100/box. These new lenses were not only 4X more expensive than my previous ones but were extraordinarily uncomfortable. When I asked to switch back they told me my brand was discontinued (they weren't) and they wouldnt change the lens type. This is on top of not being able to see with the new lenses which I believe came from an improper exam. I not have to go to a different provider and start the process all over from the beginning. I will NEVER return here.
I needed to obtain a pair of glasses to improve my vision. The optometrist who examined me said that I might need cataract removal n the future so he decided i should not get an improved pair of glasses so he would leave the prescription on my new glasses would be the same as my old glasses. Sure enough, the new glasses are the same as my old glasses and have no improvement. The new glasses are worthless. I still wear my old ones. The newm glasses are worthless.
I was just in the vision works in Aurora, Illinois store number 81 in fox valley mall. I stoped In to look at glasses not knowing that you have to have a appointment to view glasses. The Young lady asked me did I have a appointment I said no she told me to get out. I looked at her like are you talking to me she repeated Get out I just left. It's not what you say it's how you say and to tell a potential customer to get out.
My husband had an appointment for eye exam. Because of numbers in the store, I was asked to sit outside until husband was finished. Once done I was asked to come back to assist him. They took my temp and asked if Had a cough. I answered honestly that I was asthmatic and having some seasonal allergy issues. This caused occasional coughing and clearing of my throat. She immediately told my husband that they could not serve him and he would need cooperate approval to come back to the store. A cough does not mean COVID. A temp is a late sign you might have COVID. And we have been vaccinated for Covid. Did they ask us that? We will NEVER go back. And heaven forbid anyone else has allergies, COPD or CHF.
I ordered a pair of glasses on 14th March. Though the glasses arrived on 27th, they delayed the shipment by 15 days. No one would pick up the phone when called for service. After calling again and again about 20-30 times, finally I got the glasses after a month. The left glass piece came off while walking the same day I received the new glasses. I had to call again for service. God knows when I will get anther appointment. Very prompt in receiving the money, but very poor in customer service. No one seems to be bothered about the customer. Very inefficient service. The same I received the brand new glasses, the left side glass popped out, and the screw on the left frame came off, proving worthless and very poor workmanship. I wouldn't order another pair at this shop.
Robert Gardner is professional, patient, helpful, and he is the reason I keep coming back to store #1204 in Smithtown New York. However the customer service trying to call the store or even go online and chat is terrible! If it wasn't for the technician Robert Gardner, I would never come back to the store, he is the only reason I keep purchasing my glasses at VisionWorks. So my review is mixed, it's great for the person working there and helping the customers, but it's absolutely poor for the customer service online and over the phone. You cannot get through and if he ever leaves the store, I will not be coming back.
Don't go to the Springfield, PA visionworks location! I went for an eye exam and was charged $50 for the copay. I called my insurance company, and was told Copays for eye exams are $0 and that I was charged $50 for absolutely nothing! Today was my first and last time going to visionworks
Called Buckmans Plaza store and they said we could pick up prescription or have it mailed. Called back 2 hours later and asked for it to be mailed. "We don't have stamps". Was their response. "We don't know when we will get more stamps". They could fax it. Who has a fax machine in their house? Said they couldn't email it. What a joke. Was going to order from their sight but not going to give them the business. Tried online chat but wasn't working. Tried their national phone number couldn't get a person after trying for over an hour. Joke.
Vision works needs to stop giving promised dates I know alot of people tgat have told me they never got thier glasses on time neither did I. I will never deal with this place again and never try calling them 45 mins on hold finally hung up it would be faster to drive there when I went for eye exam person taking care of me asked if I holdon while she went to go take care if someone at the counter she never came back another employee came over asked if I needed helpand she helped me I never will go there again still waiting on my glasses a week past promised date
I got new glasses about a month and a half ago and with my hours made it hard to go back in to get them adjusted and when I finally was able to get back in and get them adjusted they bent my arms to get them to work right but now the arms are so loose they fall off my face needless to say I won't be back to get new glasses and you would think spending 300+ dollars I should be happy with my glasses lesson learned I guess.
Ordered glasses and contacts 5/6/22, told should be in 10 days or so-today 6/4/22 go to store -order cancelled as they lost the frames and manager notified about cancellation and no one calls me to let me know-only found out as went to store to find out what is taking so long-so as far as I know no glasses are on order but they sure took my money quick enough. Tried to call store -no one answers-so when I go in today 4 people all just sitting around and no one answers phones. No management in stores on weekend and no one can help me out-so now have to wait for someone to call me-hopefully- so maybe I can get some new glasses and no definite answer about the contacts either-and 450.00 dollars later NOTHING and NO ANSWERS very terrible customer service and no one in the store cares.
Please don't waste your time, go for a company that cares and generally wants to help you. This one doesn't, and the glasses are super cheap, won't even last a year.
I waited 3 months for an appointment. The doctor could barely hear me as he is hard of hearing and i couldnt get my questions ans. The lady at the contacts station was very helpful and gave me a pair to try out. I was to call them and confirm if i wanted to go ahead with the order.
I have now been on hold on their customer service line, called both the direct no and the regular 1800 no and no one has bothered picking up. Apparently they have a high call volume bull recording playing should u call anytime of the day night or month. With such poor reviews what other idiots other than me is calling them.
I cant go to the office without an appoint. No one will pick up my phone this is the second day of same hold forever. I tried their chat option and they bot just stated someone will contact u in 48 hours! Why cant they ans now. Every company has a person who will either respond by phone email or chat. They have no one. Absolutely pathetic service. Never going back to them. Hope they go out of business. I would give them 0 stars if i could.
Answer: Tried to call General Manager and other 800 number to voice complaint but was put on long looped music/business nonsense for too long.
Answer: I haven't heard of any success stories around the Syracuse area... they closed the lens making facilities locally... and they should close the rest of their operation as well
Answer: I believe Wal-Mart would be a better choice even if price is more which I don't think it is
