I didn't receive my sneakers, member blocked me, so I contacted Vinted.
TWO weeks later Vinted replied with, "we have restricted this user due to swap-lifting, so since it is out of our reach you will have to handle disputes with your local police dept." -_-
AND THAT IS HOW MY $90 LEBRONS WERE STOLEN BY

Beware of vinted - the site if full of scam artists selling fakes and participating in mail fraud. I was sold a fake item, I returned it and the buyer denied it was fake and then denied that she received the item, saying i sent back an empty bag. Now my money is held and I don't have the item. The seller was a professional liar and a fraudster. Vinted have been made aware but their customer service is beyond TERRIBLE and they don't even have a live number you can call. This is a fraudulent company allowing fake resellers and placing the burden of evidence on innocent unsuspecting buyers to prove otherwise while they are being scammed and mail frauded. Be very very careful when buying anything on this junk Lithuanian owned organization. Completely lacking in any morals or ethics. I will update this post when I find out how Vinted replies and actions my complaint. Watch this space. Though, I don't see any replies from Vinted on trustpilot and they have over 42% negative reviews - that is nearly 1 in 2 people have had a poor experience. Stay far. Far way.

Vinted Keep taking down my listings selling replicas! Without warnings or time to defend myself showing invoices or receipts for those causations, I ask permission before selling NEW ITEMS for a non profit business and I was told it was ok, what proof did they have of my merchandise is in fact not original? All came from MACY'S Bloomingdale's now I don't have access to sales money for 7 days and that is not very honest business practice I never have any warnings you should let the seller know you have a problem ask for proof of authenticity BEFORE sanction the account, I have invoices to where my merchandise came from, all my pictures shows clearly all tags, signature logos package and every tag and labels what else did I need to upload for a original product? I learned that this app is full of hostile environment and cero care support from customer service

I have been a very active member for about four years now and I have never been more frustrated with the app. I have been retaking photos of my items so that they look better and sell quicker but since there is no way to search through my own items I have to scroll and scroll (I have a big closet) until I find the item I'm looking for and then once I do, the app very often shuts down as I'm trying to upload photos. If I do manage to post the new photos, I often have to try multiple times to choose my covershot before it actually saves. Also, it's very frustrating that only five photos are allowed. I have been leaning towards using poshmark more recently because that app doesn't have nearly as many bugs, I can search items in my own closet (based on color, category, size, etc.), post 8 photos, select covershots without issue, and customize my closet by sharing my items whenever I want (instead of the stupid bump system where only the new items ever get noticed). I highly recommend fixing the bugs and working to improve some of the features I have mentioned or you will begin loosing dedicated members like myself to the more superior apps such as poshmark.

I just started selling on Vinted and the 3rd item I sold was a jacket barely worn worth £75. I sold it for £15 which I felt was much less than it's worth but hey if someone else can get use of it. When the buyer received the jacket they raised an issue because there was a hole the size of a pin head on the rim of the sleeve which I didn't even notice to be honest. I offered a refund but the buyer also wanted me to cover the postage which I wasn't willing to do. Vinted then gave me 48 hours to provide the buyer my address. I didn't notice the message and when I contacted Vinted just outside of the 48 hours they said it was too late and they had refunded the buyer who still had the jacket. I have tried to message customer services but they appear to be incapable of responding to my questions and continually state this is their process and there is nothing they can do. They can't even answer a simple question of what is their complaints procedure. Avoid using their platform at all cost. I wish I had read the reviews before selling any items on there as it seems they are not highly rated at all.

Iv had a vinted account for a few months now, everything was going well until I tried to send a buyer a message only to notice my account was blocked. I have messaged the vinted support team on a few occasions only to get NO reply or an automated reply. The customer service is the WORST iv evar dealt with.
I'm now out of pocket for items of clothing & jewellery that have been sent and received by buyers. The money I had made from sales is now being held by Vinted who are refusing me access.

I had since found the Vinted Limited head office details so will be taking this matter a lot further.

I have not received the product, I started the investigation as I was told to do in relation to the delivery company and SEUR delivery company, I sent photos, I have witnesses, I signed a sworn document that I had not received, I paid the buyer protection fee, and still they have transferred my money to the seller. I was left without product, without money and still calling me a liar. I use vinted because I have reduced mobility and because I am sustainable, now no more. I will go to the police and report the company to the COTUMER SERVICE PROTECTION for fraud and lack of customer protection.

If you are on the fence whether or not to create an account please read my review. First, I was a seller on vinted for the past 7 months. Within those 7 months, many fraudulents shopped my listings and were able to steal my merchandise (I shipped their order after vinted provided the shipping label and was notified 2-3 days after NOT to ship their order) I was a fast shipper so yeah I got scammed. Second, sales were very slow (way slower than ebay/poshmark). Third, Vinted deleted my items without a valid reason. Forth, Vinted requires your bank account number and routing number (which is not safe to provide). Fifth, Vinted blocked my account forever and gave me no valid reason. Now vinted has my bank account number my routing number and I have no access to my account. So please please please do not do business with Vinted. It really isn't worth giving your private information they are not a professional business and there is so much fraudulent activity on this site with the buyers. I'm a top seller on ebay and poshmark, and Vinted still managed to block me. Vinted is a bad business with no respect for their clients.

November 7, 2022

Daughter has paid £160 for coat that hasn't arrived. Was advised by VINTED to wait until Nov 1st to inform them of non receipt. Nov 1st arrived, she informed them that coat had not been received, Vinteds response was that she had been notified that delivery had been made and that she had 2 days to complain (this notification was NEVER RECEIVED).
She has still not received this coat and VINTED have said that, because she didn't complain in the 2 day period given, money was released to the seller and could not be refunded.
She can't afford to loose this money

I WILL BE TAKING THIS MATTER FURTHER

No seller protection against malicious buyers
No seller protection - scammers appear to be protected by Vinteds rules.
Buyer received the item and said was in PERFECT CONDITION however found a dirty mark, of which I was unaware of. Buyer did not try to remove the ‘dirty mark' and no photos to support their findings! I Advised I was happy to refund on return of item however the buyer according to Vintage t&cs to pay for postage.
Buyer was not happy with this so maliciously damaged the item beyond repair attempting for postage be covered by the seller.
Due to the malicious damage, I advised vintage I was no longer willing to accept a return and asked them to view the chat history as there was no discussion of there ever being damage ‘a hole' in the item. Vintage asked the buyer to send photos 5 days after they had received the item - plenty of time for malicious damage to be made and not a true representation on the item received, however Vinted turn a blind eye to this fact.
Vinteds' resolution was the item be returned to me and the buyer refunded! I am now left with an item that is damaged and unable to sell?
The chat history was evidence enough that the buyer damaged on purpose however this has been ignored.
Formal complaint proceedings against Vinted and the buyer will be progressed.

Disappointed

I've been selling on vinted for many years and the majority of it has been really good. However ive recently had a problem and I'm astounded at how bad vinted dealt with it.
To cut a long story short I sold a pair of brand new genuine Micheal Kors boots worth over £300 to a seller. When she received them she decided they didn't fit so wanted to return them, I'm a fair person and said it was ok to return and sorry she wasn't happy with the fit.
She told me she couldn't post back right away as she was moving house. I said there was no rush and to let me know when she has posted, I even said I would pay for the return postage!
3 months on and they still haven't been returned to me. So basically she has my boots and has had the money refunded to her.
I've tried to contact her and she has blocked me and vinted have said because it was 3 months ago then there is nothing they can do now as I've let too much time pass so they've closed the case.
I honestly just can't believe it. I feel you have no rights as a seller whatsoever and feel completely scammed and let down by the vinted team and by the app.
I've been selling on the app for years and have sold over 200 items with 100% positive reviews.
I've since deleted my account and won't sell on there anymore.
Please be careful when selling on this app as there is no support whatsoever when things go wrong... I've learnt the hard way.

This must be the worst experience I have ever had with this kind of platform. At first I liked it and bought a lot of clothes with no issues but a year ago a seller claimed to have sent a package that never arrived and they also had no tracking number (even tho I paid for tracking), vinted refused to help saying it is my fault there was no tracking nr and there is nothing they can do.
I stopped using it for couple of months after this but two months ago ordered a pair of shoes for over 120Eur - the seller seemed legit, hundreds of good reviews that did not look like bots or scam so I went for it. And... the seller ghosted me after receiving the money for almost a month, I wrote to vinted three times - no answer at all. Then the seller appeared again asking for my address (again?) and now I received a message from vinted that I AM BLOCKED. No letters from vinted, no explanation why. And I still have not gotten my package and am pretty certain this was a scam.
STAY AWAY FROM VINTED, full of scammers and vinted will never help you, they will just block your account if you are trying to get their help.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I sell on ebay and another app then I found Vinted. But I learned right away not to sell expensive items there. There is NO WAY TO CONTACT A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON. I had someone named guy101 pick out a three item bundle then after I got up and weighed them to make sure I picked the right shipping This guy101 asked if I could model them! This person had no profile and was a very new member. So I tried to report it that's when I realized that there was NO WAY TO DO THAT. That's what made me realize if I have a problem selling or whatever there's really nothing I can do. I don't talk with people on the app or anything I barely mess with it. I just don't think it's a safe site. I definetly wouldn't recommend swapping from what I hear No one is over seeing this app.

I ordered a new mihael kors backpack, payed a full amount plus a buyers protection and received a message from DHL in a week that an order is delivered. I checked the same day and there was no parcel fem the carrier. Next day I checked with the security at my building and my neighbors where all the parcels arrive and they confirmed there was no courier that day from DHL. They also checked their records and cameras with me and truly there was no one from DHL on that day, but DHL already send me an email that this parcel is delivered. So I sent a message to Vinted support who were investigating for 2 weeks and finally here I am without the package and without 110 euros from my pocket. Just be sure that paying as called buyers protection do not basically protect you from anything since Vinted will never take your side and will take your money and buyers protection fee but will never admit your parcel was lost or delivered to a wrong place. Support wasn't really helpful and never consider my request truly, so be prepared that you may simply lose your money with this application! Scamers!

Don't use this site it's more hassle than it's worth for 4 days I've been trying to get in contact with someone over a buyer who is refusing to put down they have received there order. The person I sold this too is clearly a scammer and this site is a good way of getting away with it!
Luckly the item I sold wasn't expensive but it's principle that an item you have clearly sent out and paid for postage with PROOF should be paid back to you but on the other hand vinted only care about the money they make they don't not care about the people losing out after a 2 attempts to contact and being fobbed off I was told my tracking number on my receipt is a fault number however they will contact the lady to see if she has it! Considering I've been trying to contact the lady for days! How is that my fault in the first place vinted really need to have a look at the people that are signing up and if these are real people or scammers

So in honesty I made a fair bit on money selling clothes on here and had some lovely buyers with great communication on the other hand when you get a annoying buyer Noones there to help you or give you the money that is clearly yours in the first place it goes in the a pending balance and stays there until the person has marked down they've received it. So after 10 days I'm still waiting so for anyone looking for a stress free selling page this is not the one!
