I am reading a book based in the 1920's where the protagonist buys college clothes to fit in with university students. So I became interested in how much clothes cost in 1927, and I came upon a blog written by one of the owners of Blue Velvet Vintage. In her blog she shows pictures of herself going to vintage events wearing, of course, vintage clothing, which then led me to their website. What a wonderful website full of vintage clothes and accessories. Currently the company is refocusing on again selling authentic vintage clothes, so they have a sale on their replicant clothes. The only thing is I wish they had more 1920's Flapper type dresses. They have a lot of 1950's dresses, and I'm not too fond of that style. But it's a great site and the prices are moderate. Check it out if you are a vintage fan!
